benalvino2:Despite clarification do you not hold on to your intentional erroneous interpretation of my post? You are funny. The thing you are defending even opened a thread on it, or did it not inform you? Go on, ask it. It will provide you with a link. |
HappyPagan:You know you can not hide from what makes sense It why I like conversing with you, because of that immense and competent piece of silicon in your head.If not for the likes of you I'd be left with the likes of this individual here and probably would have to take buda to the bottom of some river and bash buda's head in. So thanks for the thread and for keeping buda sane, and alive. You, Sir, will live very long. |
benalvino2:We are very clearly not saying the same thing, and you can keep intentionally twisting what I wrote to be what you want to see as it takes nothing from me and I know not everyone can not read like you can't. benalvino2:Some will way "what does it profit one to lose one's soul and gain all the money in the world?" Dignity is more valuable than gold to some, is the point, and as you can clearly see if you can bother to comprehend what you read, I went on to much better things that paid a lot more. |
benalvino2:He had the opportunity to explain his "superior race" but as is his style he instead did his nword and had gay sex so I don't quite see the point here especially when you yourself "think it is a bad choice of words". Or is it not simply the historical context of the phrase that most are aware of, including yourself I pressume, that makes it a bad choice? Tell me ben, why did you think it was a bad choice? |
HappyPagan:You might not follow Christian threads but you sure do create threads that specifically invite Christians so its rather odd that you'd be complaining when Christians poke their noses in your thread and give you wahala, don't you think? I mean, if the thread had a title like "There Is No Power In Python Programming, wouldn't pythons be querying you here and giving you wahala instead? You can't put a stove in a room and then be complaining its too hot in here when you are cooking! Opps, I meant can't put a computer in a room and complain that we are programming! Or at the least, you ought not. You poked your Happy nose by creating a poking thread so be Happy when poked back or you get out of your own thread if you are not Happy with the wahala of being poked back! ![]() |
HappyPagan:And that is a good enough wahala to have as opposed to the wahala you seem to have, which is that the programming language itself is bad. Warning to Programmers! Please become better Programmers so HappyPagan will see the good software you produce and understand the benefits of the programming languages and therefore know that programming is a worthy skill to develop!

benalvino2:I never said "white want to be racist"! And I never said "they don't employ black Americans because they can't take the racism"! By God, you really are hard work! Black Americans would be more socially conscious to racism is an obvious fact, and the suspiciously racist things a white person may say that a Nigerian would not be bothered about might likely offend a native black. Just last week, a former Nigerian colleague of mine surprised me by pointing out my own priviledge as a native black despite us both being Nigerian. He had to put up with a lot of racism, he told me, because of the fear of being deported, while I was very vocal and fearless, he said. I now look back and see how I went further in my career with the company we worked for at the time than many of my black collegues and especially the immigrants. A long time before then I was in a group of 6 black (5 were immigrants) and two white guys (one was native) that was being trained by a white guy and there was this house we used to go past everyday that had lots of plants growing in the window. Everytime we drove past it this white boss would make comments about a jungle and baboons and everyone will laugh except this Jamaican and I. We both lasted only a few weeks in the job before being fired for incompetence despite there not being any assessment of our competence. But of course I waste my time here, and patiently await your own misconstrued interpretation of the above anecdote as is your style. |
benalvino2:Ben, please stop asking me to waste my time educating you when you can easily spend your own time and resources educating yourself. |
slivertongue:And you shouldn't wait for election. Since democracy means your voice, you indeed must speak up and educate, as we are all doing here, and by letting your Reps and Senators and Governor hear your voice by perhaps writing to them directly or petitioning them all. We clearly have a lot of work to do, as you can see by some who teach antidemocracy and will prefer the military rule of those who are unaccountable to us, so may we never tire in speaking to those who clearly are accountable or we will kick their incompetent asses out. |
benalvino2:I guess there's no point asking you to look into the context of what you posted, after all did you not for days go about accusing buda of claiming a lack of knowledge of racial history makes Nigerians more employable? |
benalvino2:Sorry, but I know no such thing. Unlike some, I don't just get told, but must see it for myself in your fruits so to speak, and not just in your "Lord Lord", and I have not seen anything of your's to make me know. But if I ever do, I'll let you know. Meanwhile, please know that I do not hold conversation for long with those who think being rude or insulting others or grandstanding to the gallery is a way to intelligently discuss. So forgive me if my responses are sparce. |
benalvino2:I couldn't make such justifications if it was drumptf, because to start with, drumptf would not be talking at the Tulsa Race Massacre Anniversary, and his speech would more likely be along the lines of "I've done more for black people than anyone else", which is a lie, and will contain no policies to improve anyones life at all. |
HappyPagan:Which is why I specifically described Gods as programming languages, instead of Python alone, because as Christ is written to have taught, "Those who program in python alone will be inadequate and limited programmers!" HappyPagan:And, yes, most have no understanding of what they do, but that alone does not mean the program is garbage, but that the programming book of God, Jesus, Holy Spirit is a very big book that many never ever read as books are meant to be read, from page one all the way page by page to the very last page, but jump around in the book instead and claim they read it. And some don't even read it but are simply led by the blind who lead them. I do not think it is intelligent to deduce that Things Fall Apart is garbage because a reader jumps about in it or does not understand it, or was told what it is about without reading it themselves. And even after reading Things Fall Apart, they may misunderstand it and merely believe Okonkwo really did really strike Ikemefuna dead. Those who read it and do the work to understand it are not just programmed, Happy, they become programmers! HappyPagan:Really, Happy? You can only derive knowledge of programming from other programmers around you instead of learning programming for yourself and blaizing trails? It is a common mistake I daresay. I myself became an atheist at 12 years old which is when I finished my first reading of the entire King James Bible. My first language was English so I guess my understanding was rather different to my peers who would bully me for stating what I understood. It didn't help too that I had by then learnt a lot about the ancient Greek and Roman and Egyptian Gods as enforced by the British education system that had by then evolved from indoctrinating religion to teaching about gods, which kind of gave a different understanding about gods in general. My reasoning for abandoning the gods was, if God is how it it understood by those around me, I buda piss on your all of your gods! Good thing is one never loses ines understanding. No, Happy, you can not only "derive 'meaning' for these words from those who claim to know this meaning, those who claim to be Christ-like and all", just as you will not derive an understanding of programming just from other programmers, unless you are lazy of course, or don't care whether you are a competent or a sloppy programmer! If you want to understand, as in derive meaning for yourself, you know you must do your own program learning and a lot of research. Basically, the more you ask and knock and seek with all your heart and soul and mind and being the better programmer you are likely to become. Or is not so that study and research makes for a Happy programmer? I call it the Gospel of Use the Senses Eve, as opposed to that of Naked Ignorant Enslaved Adam, but I will leave that story till you are interested. HappyPagan:I am sorry, but if you do not care then you will not be wasting your time reading this nor will you respond to what people write in the thread you created because I really do not see you as a timewaster who will open a thread to discuss what you do not care about! HappyPagan:I get your logic. The programmers around you are crap and sloppy so programming is rubbish and useless and you don't need to learn programming yourself because, I mean, after all, it's not as if you can be any better a programmer than all the sloppy and crappy programmers you are surrounded by. Right? HappyPagan:You are so very very wrong, and you lie, because verily verily I say unto thee that those who learnt Fortran alone have become malnourished! And those who are program multilingual get more offers for work As for the stories. Smart folks know Things Fall Apart is a lot more than Okonkwo striking Ikemefuna dead just as "God, Jesus, Holy Spirit" is a mere four words describing millions of entities and ideas in a book of a thousand pages. |
HappyPagan:I think you know he does not understand one tiny bit, unless you've decided he is lying, or if what I said makes no sense. sonmvayina: |
benalvino2:See what I mean by according to your bias, which you then project as the view and opinion of others? We know Biden can not mean "blacks don't have black lawyers", at least, because a black lawyer hired him and he worked for a black lawyer for 8 years. And he himself has hired a black lawyer to work for him for 4 years. And he obviously can not think blacks can't do anything because he was hired by a black person for whom he worked for 8 years during which he himself did a lot on the black person's behalf, and he has hired a black person as his own vice of whom he expects a lot, unless you think he hired a person he thought could do nothing. |
benalvino2:Sorry benalvino2, but no, I do not know that you "hardly say something is racist unless it is". My experience of you is that you only say something is racist if you see it as racist, which is not as often as it actually is racist. And you infer according to your bias of the day. You are however a bit smarter than most of your drumptf supporters, so let me at least bother, despite how you went rogue last time with your false characterization which showed more about yourself than it said about me. The transcript of the entire speech can be read here I have posted parts of it below. Anyone who understands America will know Biden does not mean black businesses hiring white lawyers and accountants only, but hiring black lawyers and accountants, who are not as many as there ought to be, and which he does not need to explicitly state because it is obvious that is what he means. In the first extract below he specifically talks about marginalisation in schools which is what negatively affected blacks becoming accountants and lawyers. The "start school at three years old", and "going through all 12 years without any trouble", is obviously not just so blacks get to hire accountants and lawyers, but that blacks become accountants and lawyers in their own right. And note that we Nigerians do not have that problem in Nigeria, nor in America 100 years later, but which might still be affecting some of the natives, though much less than it did in the past. Joe Biden: (23:47) We see that in Greenwood. This story isn’t about the loss of life, but a loss of living, of wealth and prosperity and possibilities that still reverberates today. Mother Fletcher talks about how she was only able to attend school in the fourth grade, and eventually found work in the shipyards as a domestic worker. Mr. Van Ellis has shared how even after enlisting and serving in World War II, he still came home to struggle with a segregated America. Imagine all those hotels and dinners and mom-and-pop shops that could have been passed down this past 100 years. Imagine what could have been done for Black families in Greenwood, financial security and generational wealth. If you come from back lines like my family, working class, middle class family, the only way we ever were able to generate any wealth was an equity in our homes. Imagine what they contributed then, and what they could have contributed all these years. Joe Biden: (28:41) Just imagine, if instead of denying millions of entrepreneurs the ability to access capital and contracting, we made it possible to take their dreams to the marketplace to create jobs and invest in our communities. The data shows young Black entrepreneurs are just as capable of succeeding given the chance as White entrepreneurs are, but they don’t have lawyers. They don’t have accountants, but they have great ideas. Does anyone doubt this whole nation would be better off from the investments those people make? And I promise you, that’s why I set up the National Small Business Administration that’s much broader, because they’re going to get those loans. Instead of consigning millions of American children to under-resourced schools, let’s get each and every child three and four years old access to school. Not daycare, school. Joe Biden: (29:42) in the last 10 years, studies have been done by all the great universities. It shows that it increased by 56% the possibility of a child, no matter what background they come from… No matter what, if they start school at three years old, they have a 56% chance of going through all 12 years without any trouble, and being able to do well, and a chance to learn and grow and thrive in a school and throughout their lives. |
benalvino2:You don't think what he said was racist? Now that's a surprising start! He knows blacks have some lawyers and accountant, so its fair to assume he means not enough blacks get to become and/or hire lawyers and accountants, which is a fact. BBC Radio 4's Book of the Week. Akala charts his own personal story alongside the social, historical and political factors that have shaped the world we live in today.

slivertongue:The point you miss is we the people chose the current government. You might think you are not one of those people perhaps because you did not vote for Buhari, but even if you did not vote Buhari and your candidate lost, you are still complicit in the outcome by failing to get your preferred candidate a win. I am suggesting to you and anyone that reads this that good democratic governance comes from we the people being responsible and choosing wisely, and we all bear this in mind now before the next election before it becomes rather too late for us to start organizing and educating we the people to wisely chose our next leaders. Join the Nairaland Democratic Party and be the difference you want to see!

sonmvayina:HappyPagan, did you understand the analogy at all? Care to explain it to this individual? |
Tdotbluejays1:I was asking about the year, if it was August 2022, or 2023, or 2024 or never ever? |
slivertongue:I guess the bit about democracy being the power we have to change those who lead us went completely over your head, but thankfully the majority of us prefer democracy than military rule and I bet we'd be able to convince even you to join us in aluta if military take over, though I am confident we'd never ever see that day again. |
manshot:So, we have a new date. We jumped past June 12, was it, and the whole of July, to August. Is that August '22, or '23, or '24, or never ever? |
As crude as it seems, its better than anything I can draw! |
sonmvayina:I made no fuqing sense to you, you mean. And note how I just so happened not to have written it in response to you in the first place, but to a person whom I believe it likely might have made some sense to. Hopefully, that person will note the sort of silicon you just might indeed be because you are very far from becoming a chip.
|
Somebody, call my area peoples! We need help! |
Note to self! Yep! Definitely a lot more worried and I do need to work harder educating those the individual below might have disinformed! slivertongue: |
sonmvayina:Was it way above your level of comprehension? Asking because I am concerned for you. |
