benalvino2:Bias for Biden over that loser called drumpf? Very strong is a better description. |
benalvino2:I disliked Trump's policies and incompetence before covid. And I am certain the electorate would pass judgement on Cuomo in due time. |
Trailblazer1:Please sue the government. It is illegal to falsely arrest you. |
benalvino2:I do not see Biden as racist so have no reason to excuse him. When he is racist, do hola at me please. |
benalvino2:Mocking other people's Gods is not okay in UK! We can not be educating Hindus, Jews, Christians, Muslims, atheists, etc in the same class then find it ok to mock Gods. We are far too mature a nation to continue to do what we did in the 17th Century and will find such behaviour absurd in a nation that teaches others to evolve. As for trump and racism, I did chuckle when you made the statement below. My opposition to trump has nothing to do with race. He thought he could shoot someone on New York streets and found it was not what it was when half a million died on his watch. And that's apart from his policies that I do not support, and his lies. He is not the sort of person I'd hold up to my children as a model and I am delighted he never got a second term. benalvino2: |
OmovuduTheBeast:Stop buying me data then I'd be 'kwayet'. |
benalvino2:Speak out against what? The suppression of votes by requiring ids? I have, continously, on this very thread. The absurdity of them requiring voter id only now that they are losing elections stinks, especially since they have been in charge of the state for yonks benefiting from no id requirements. Still, it does not bother me one bit. I raised dead people to vote for Biden and can easily provide them with id too. |
Imsoblessed:If you are so blessed why are you here crying as if you are starving and unable to feed yourself? Anyone who does not agree with you must indeed be aboki. Nigeria separate or no separate, buda will chop bellefull.
|
Jostoman:How is your ability to self determine affected by Nigeria? Does Nigeria take food off your table? |
This is your third thread on this same loan of yours! People are asking you to show the borrower compassion, but I wonder why they aren't asking him to compassionately pay you back. Fact is, "The current price of his laptop online is 180k+" has nothing to do with anything if he gave it to you as collateral. I can bet no one would offer you even half of that if you try to sell it, which, after giving the loan taker sufficient notice, I would do if I were you, though I might need to consider the legal basis of lending money for collateral in the first place since I am not a bank, and there's the small issue of what you found on his laptop. Should you not be taking it to the police instead, though that might mean kissing your 60k goodbye? A good lesson for you going forward would be never a lender nor a borrower be. I can hope you learn a lesson you bought for so much. |
Babaken:Yes people wrote it and it can be changed. So be a people and change it, but until you do change it, that is the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Sorry. |
Trailblazer1:I don't think what you do with your girlfriend has anything to do with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but disturbing the peace is a crime, which is likely why the people were arrested. They can go sue for false arrest since false arrest is at least unconstitutional and illegal in Nigeria. |
Sexual abuse has always been a tenacious issue in UK. As I mentioned, you might as well accuse the media of covering it up in the Church and the Army and Parliament until it was exposed in social media. Posting "cartoon of Mohammed" is not the sort of satire we do in UK. We do not mind satirising our own Christian Gods, and do often, but we frown strongly at the satire of the Gods of others. It just is not our way to needlessly offend others. That's our double standards, if you wish to call it that. You'd never find us making fun of Jews, or Hindus so why Muslims? In fact, go to our schools and you'd find we are teaching children to respect people and their religions. That's what liberal societies do, you live and you let others live too. If UK does not do that, Christianity will suffer the most from ridicule as most Brits don't do Gods. Biden's so called use of the nword was clearly an out of context slip. He stutters for starts, and could easily be forgiven. As for those other things you claim he said, we mitigate by him playing second fiddle to his black boss and hiring a strong black woman as his Vice. He may sound racist to you but his actions say the opposite to me. When he actually does something racist, do hola at me please. As for Tommy Robinson, whom I did suspect you meant, please give me a break! There are penalties for breaking the Equalities Act 2010 which he willfully broke. Even retweeting his tweet will get you sanctioned in good ol' blighty land. Conservative candidate suspended over Tommy Robinson tweet benalvino2: |
It should be noted that the Board had, on some occasions, had cause to also sanction faith-based schools located in the Northern part of the country with no eyebrows raised from any quarter. How is this lame excuse related to the fact that a school in Lagos is charging higher fees? Did no one educate Fabian Benjamin, Ph.D. Head, Public Affairs and Protocol of the fallacy of whataboutism? |
MaxInDHouse:I can't believe we need to continue educating you on this fallacy of strawmanning budaatum: |
Lighthouse50:Actually, it is theists who make the mistake of engaging in proof of God discussions when the simple get out of jail free response is: Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. |
Trailblazer1:It's at least unconstitutional according to Chapter 1 Part 1 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 2. (1) Nigeria is one indivisible and indissoluble sovereign state to be known by the name of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. |
They thought Nigeria was at it's worst and suffer had reached its zenith. Its about to get worster, and I would expect worstest to follow soon after. |
koondog:Agitation for succession is a crime whether you are Yoruba or Biafra or Ipob. Nairaland Says No To Secessionists |
benalvino2:I do not know what media you listen to that "make fun of Christians, attack Christians religion but you can't dear to criticize Islam". Critique of religions go on everyday and must go on so that we may learn and evolve. As I speak, BBC Radio 4 is broadcasting Sunday Worship from Ireland involving all churches in response to the troubles there. It follows a program that critiqued religions role in the divisions in Ireland, and the next program is called A Point of View, Living with Group Difference. What is unacceptable is the denigration of Christians and Muslims. The British authorities did not cover up Pakistani grooming gangs or allow them to do their atrocious acts! You might as well claim the British authorities covered up grooming gangs in the Church of England, the Catholic Church, the Army and the House of Parliament too, which would be a lie since the media exposed them all when they had the facts. You haven't named the guy you claim "called for awareness and fight against it", so I'll reserve my opinion till you do. Islamophobia, and Christianphobia, is unacceptable ignorant bigotry however you want to dress it up. You'd find that groups that engage in such phobias are usually of the far right type who include such phobias as part of their obnoxious rhetoric, and if you studied their history their phobias were blacks and Irish and dogs and Jews and immigrants. As for Bidens use of the word you mentioned, I'm going to do what the media did and ignore it because I am programmed to judge by the fruits and not just by one word, which if you too do would show you the difference between him and drumpf! |
Kind of mitigates the high cost of their cement perhaps. Anyone know how much tax Dangote Cement pay in countries where their cement is cheaper? |
Below is a clear example of progress. In times gone past and even still now many will claim she wanted to be raped in order to progress in the ranks. benalvino2:It is not the organisation one is against, but their methodology of brutality. Same as most in US are not against police in general but against them killing people unnecessarily. You live in a world today where racism, bullying, hatred, child pornography, has been significantly reduced already to the point that it does not bother you. If you know the history that got us this far you'd appreciate those continuing the struggle, especially in places where such things have not been reduced like to where you are. I can assure you that if UK police even speak to me the way America police speak to people I'd have been shot a long time ago if they had guns. I'm grateful for the progress of change. |
benalvino2:It's called rhetoric, and is very common in American politics where they have the First Amendment to the United States Constitution that allows them to throw such words about with no evidence. It's how they've been programmed to be. Try it in UK and the cost you pay both financially and reputationally will be huge. |
benalvino2:The above is like saying you can never one day #Endsars. The effect of such thinking is you will not fight it with the intention of defeating it. You really need to have more faith in your abilities to effect change, in yourself and in others. That is what "agency" is about, the ability to program oneself instead of allowing CNN and Fox News to program one. |
benalvino2:In the Panorama program mentioned there were many who did not complain about racism because they too did not want to destroy their relationship with the church or seem like victims. Unfortunately, they were victims of the destruction of their relationships within the church. Keeping quiet is not an option. And even 1% of bad cop is too bad when the damage they cause is considered. A Metropolitan Police officer has been jailed for breaking a black man’s knee in front of his children after they had laid flowers on their mother’s grave. |
raumdeuter:But people can learn to like each other or at least not dislike each other just because they are from a different tribe or race or religion. We can already see change by you admitting intertribal and interracial marriages exist. Evidence suggests an increase, and when products of such marriages (Emeka Ogunbiyi, Mohamned Chukwudi etc), become adults the battle will intensify. |
benalvino2:No, it is not a wate of time, and it is necessary since it is very deep rooted. Just yesterday, I watched Panorama do a program on institutional racism in the Church of England. It was sad to see how racist individuals ruin lives. Evidence suggests that racism can be stopped, or at least be significantly reduced. There was a time gay people were imprisoned, and "No blacks, no dogs, no Irish" was a common notice for rentals, but progress has given us the Equality Act 2010 which makes such discriminations illegal. Now you can't even easily get away with discriminating against a gay person. The struggle must obviously continue till it is rooted out, especially in Nigeria where tribalism, a form of bigotry, is seen as the norm. |
benalvino2:Lewisham in South East London where I also currently live. |
sanpipita:They began a boycott of social media on Friday. It ends 23:59 on Monday.
|
benalvino2:budaatum was not born in Nigeria. And budaatum is not attacking you. |
Shokoloko:It must have been Fulani and Yoruba helmsmen that voted for "Zik's National Council of Nigeria and Cameroons (NCNC), came first with 2,594,577 votes to get 81 seats", I pressume. |
