Op, I think you are going to need to sell him to us by showing evidence of the "integrity, industrious, vision, experience and unity" that you claim he has or can achieve so we see with our own two eyes, because we Nigerians are unbelievers now that buhari has taught us the error of belief. Sai bubu for that lesson I say. We Nigerians are getting better at using our senses because bubu has taught us to check for ourselves. SOLIDWORLD: |
benalvino2:Impartiality would make one not just get ones information from the media, and as you could have understood from what I said about me marching against the Iraq war, I could not have gotten my information from the media nor from blair or Republicans who were mongering for it at the time. It was not the media alone that deceived the world but the government of the two countries that wanted to go to war too, and I supported neither the Labour Party that I stopped paying membership to at the time, nor the Republican government in power at the time. You should perhaps try not to trust the media so much and look beyond their reportings. Their intention is money making, as we can see with that Carlson guy who shamelessly would sell anything. |
benalvino2:The Labour Party is the UK equivalent of the Democratic Party in US, while the Conservative Party would be the non-trump Republicans. I am a due paying card carrying Labour Party member and have just returned from voting for Conservative Tory Party Shaun Bailey for Mayor of London. Sadiq Khan of my Labour Party who I voted for in the past wants to introduce the congestion charge to the whole of London which I very strongly oppose. Unfortunately for me, he will win. Trump could never have been a Democrat president, and if he was I would have voted Republican given tbe chance. I marched against the war in Iraq and never voted for lying Blair, which was easy since that's not how elections work down here. It would be a toss up whom I dislike more between lying trump and lying Blair. You should perhaps stop looking through the lenses of "democrats vs Republicans" and assume I have a brain and do use it. |
ejitest1:Zaria with 410k people is a small town? Tell your friend that "130k with small small commission" is small small money in Lagos, and even smaller than "80k plus small small commission" in "small town" Zaria. If he has sense his proper career advancement will be up to him. |
It is a shame if we are letting that Aregbe pull strings in my state after not paying salaries for so many years! Oyetola will be judged by his fruits and not by Aregbe's Oranmiyan! |
Your parents have brainwashed you with their superstition and you are living the script they wrote for you. You are going to need to get a blank sheet of life and write your own script. I'd say get psychological help, but Naija no de do psycho so go for deliverance. Read up on Neurolinguistic Programming however. It will help you with your script. And sorry you got screwed up parents screwing you up. |
E be like you catch rat ?There are disease concerns with both wild (rats, mice) and pet (rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs) rodents and rabbits. They can carry many diseases including hantavirus, leptospirosis, lymphocytic choriomeningitis (LCMV), Tularemia and Salmonella. Wild rodents also may cause considerable property damage by chewing through wiring in homes, car engines, and other places. https://kingcounty.gov/depts/health/communicable-diseases/zoonotic/facts-resources/diseases-by-animal/pocket-pets.aspx |

Arrested for "alledged internet fraud". No further details given. |
MegaDesign:Why you asking? Wanna date him/her? |
A Yoruba organisation, Yoruba Appraisal Forum (YAF), has faulted the agitation by a group led by Mr Sunday Adeyemo, alias Sunday Igboho, that Yorubaland should secede from Nigeria, describing such move as treasonable and unpatriotic. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/05/secession-yoruba-group-seeks-dss-polices-clampdown-on-igboho-other-agitators/ |
They at least desecrated a police station too. https://www.nairaland.com/6541052/breaking-gunmen-kill-inspector-burn#101438696 |
benalvino2:Who's propaganda was that again? What party was behind the propaganda for the Iraq War? |
basilico:They are also checking for bamboo in the paper. Lol. |
basilico:You were "sort of progressive partially"? Do tell, are you backward now? |
basilico:Lol. I am going to trust that you will confess that you were mesmerized by the audit the same way you were mesmerized by the "hopium of kraken" when the audit finds nothing. |
I now see the point of this thread https://www.nairaland.com/6539447/it-time-pope-disrobe-father#101408289

Are you not black? Can you rule yourself or not? |
gregyboy:Na, I don't trust you. You lie about reading Johnson so you'd probably be lying about the 10k or would argue that you have not been educated about the origin (and meaning which Johnson never mentioned) of odu ti o da iwa. |
gregyboy:Make payment to the account of this individual, ref budaatum. Details in signature. On confirmation of receipt your education will begin. While at it, request a copy of Samuel Johnson's History of the Yorubas because it is obvious you have not read it. |
gregyboy:You mean we should educate you? How much are you willing to pay to cure yourself of your lack of knowledge? |
TheKingIsHere:I remember when I first saw dragons in GoT. I was like, "Wtf! I thought this was some serious program!" Then it got serious, lol. Decently done was my conclussion. Hope this will be too. |
orisa37:Election of police and crime commissioners in practise as dictated by constitutional powers. The person appointing or selecting them by constitutional powers is exercising constitutional powers too, and if we do not like it we should aim to change the powers given by the constitution instead of not expecting the given powers to be exercised. It's like you should not expect me to not steal, but put checks and procedures in place to make it impossible for me to steal, and if I do steal make the consequences so much that it is not worth my stealing. That is how UK evolved into what you admire today. If I had the means, the following will be on naijatelly so people will understand how UK got from where we are today to where they are today, and the amount of work that is involved. Now, if that's not the action of mature people you should learn from, but trust many will completely miss the point. That $1.8b is not payment for a divorced but for a separation, while less inteligent people will be arguing in court. Good on you Melinda and Bill. |
AmazonTopaz:Are you just now waking up? |
basilico:It would obviously be "consumed" by anyone who bothers to read it, though the article itself is not by a free mind as can be seen by the bias of it. A free mind wouldn't just consume it without critique as that would just show their mind is corrupt and free to be filled with junk. |
After delayed local elections in 2020 due to the pandemic, May 6 will bring a bumper batch of elections across England, Wales and Scotland. Citizens will elect 143 English local councils, 129 Members of the Scottish Parliament, 60 Members of the Welsh Senedd, 39 Police and Crime Commissioners, 25 London Assembly seats and 13 directly-elected mayors.

You should read more. The more you read the more you'd learn how language works and how words are used. And stop calling yourself a failure when you just likely might be a work in progress! |
