Beauty and brain joined together is really rear but this is the case here. The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 AIG C. K. Aderanti has appointed former Lagos state police PRO SP Dolapo Badmos as the zonal police PRO for Zone 2.

Her appointment which takes effect from March 10th, 2017 will see her supervise the Public relations department of both Lagos and Ogun State Police Commands. Her promotion is connected with her qualitative performance when she held sway as the police public relations officer for Lagos state command.

Dolapo is an astute member of the Nigeria institute of public relations, a graduate of accounting and a post graduate degree holder of public administration. She is married with kids. Congratulations is in order for this erudite police officer.

Now I feel like committing a crime just to meet her.

While speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony today being Tuesday 7th March, 2017, Osinbajo said the rail line is just one segment of the Lagos-Kano railway project, which is an integral part of the national rail project. Acting President Yemi Osinbajo also said the Lagos-Ibadan standard guage railway line will create 500,000 jobs.

He said President Muhammadu Buhari renegotiated the project with the Chinese in 2016. He added that the railway will be ready in December 2018.

According to VP, “If there is a project close to the heart of the president, it is this rail project he personally promised the people of this nation,” .

“Our appreciation goes to the Chinese government, who have always proven to be reliable partners with Nigeria. As some may be aware, we have the entire Lagos-Kano standard guage track, as well as the Lagos-Calabar railway track in the 2017 budget.

“Negotiations of the Kaduna-Kano portion of the track is now completed and this phase is next in line. We have already provided our portion of funding for the Lagos-Calabar route as well. “We expect that negotiations for the foreign component of the funding will be finalised in the next few months. The Lagos-Calabar rail will come on stream.

“An active and vibrant railway system confers many benefits on society, and our ultimate goal is to restore the railway using culture for both commercial and personal travels. “The national railway project will create up to half a million jobs, and facilitate the movement of over 3.2 tonnes of cargo per annum.”

Pete Edochie is one of the numerous Nollywood actors that has been their even before the conception of Noolywood. Edochie is considered one of Africa’s most talented actors, by both Movie Awards and Movie Magic’s Africa Magic Cable network.

He was born 7th March 1947. Legendary musician, King Sunny Ade has been honored with an appointed by the Federal Government of Nigeria. KSA has been appointed as "Change Begins With Me" Ambassador. The Juju music God, Ade was appointed on Monday, March 6, by the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed in Abuja.

Lai Mohammed while announcing the appointment described Sunny Ade as an icon and a trailblazer, who is a typical example of ‘Change’ for young people to look up to. He also commended KSA’s transparency in the music industry for over 50 years without cutting corners to reach the top.

“We are looking for people like you (King Sunny Ade) that the younger ones can look up to. It’s not just that you have been around for fifty years but you have been around for fifty years without any single stain on your part and that is very hard.”

Acknowledging his new appointment, Sunny Ade vowed to support the government in moving the nation forward. “You don’t need to say much. This is what I love to do and it has been in me.

“We are ready to do that officially throughout the whole world, ” Ade said.

I think Nigeria have realized her mistake for neglecting made in Aba products for years. Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo seems to have become a major proponent of the ‘made in aba’ or should we say ‘Buy Naija’ mantra.

Going by the number of billboards in Abia State that carries her name and a strong message for those going abroad to buy things that are produced in Aba as well, we can safely say that she has become an ambassador for the state or the message though no pronouncement by the state government on this effect yet.

The billboard that has been littered almost every street in Abia State has her picture and these words inscribed on them,

“I am proudly made in Aba. Aba can make everything you travel abroad to buy” – Uche Jombo

Reports suggests that she is currently working on a project with the Abia State government and the project will be made public very soon. She has however become the brand ambassador for the ‘Made In Aba’ mantra and helping to urge people to patronise products from the creative city.

Different versions of Apostle Suleman's sex scandal story keep emerging on net and social media while Sahara Reporters are the news agency championing the whole show.

Few hours ago, Sahara Reporters obtained a fresh story on the said matter as they authoritatively report that Nigeria Police some how got a hold of Stephanie Otobo who has been accusing Apostle Suleman and brutalized her as well as forcing her to recant the allegations she made against the cleric.

The Nigeria police today rushed Stephanie Otobo and her male colleague, one Wisdom Godstime, before a Chief Magistrate in Lagos, accusing them of terrorism and plotting the extortion of a controversial pastor, Apostle Johnson Suleman. Prior to their arraignment, Ms. Otobo was threatened by the police officers, ostensibly working with or on behalf of the pastor, asking her to drop allegations that the priest had had sexual relations with her and impregnated her before abandoning her.

Ms. Otobo’s story became public on Sunday after her lawyer, Festus Keyamo, wrote to the Inspector General of Police alleging threats to her life, harassment, and blackmail by police officers working at the behest of Apostle Suleman. Ms. Otobo was arrested at a United Bank for Africa branch in Anthony Village area of Lagos and held incommunicado by the police. The arrest was led by one DSP Ugwumadu from the Ken Salem house team affiliated with the Federal Criminal Investigations in Lagos.

Shortly after Saharareporters did a report on her arrest, police officers became apprehensive and aggressive towards her. She was thoroughly harassed and subjected to rough interrogation tactics, including coaching her to disown her lawyers and the media report, but Ms. Otobo refused, insisting that she be allowed to speak with her lawyers first. Uchenna Moneke, a lawyer from Festus Keyamo's chambers who arrived at the police station this morning to speak with her said Ms. Otobo had been badly rough handled by policemen who handcuffed her colleague and bundled them out of the police station to an unknown destination.

Following a series of tweets by Saharareporters today revealing plans to emasculate Ms. Otobo, the police then hurriedly packaged some charges against including ridiculous charges of “terrorism” and brought her before a court, in the Tinubu area of Lagos, where she was docked and charged before the magistrate and subsequently granted bail.

On his part, Apostle Suleman has hired a PR person who sent out a press release first claiming the Apostle didn't have a hand in her ordeal with the police. However, in the same press statement, signed by one Phrank Shuiabu, Apostle Suleman admitted he had put money in Ms. Otubu’s account but claimed it was done as part of a sting operation by the police.

Dear Readers

My name is Idowu, a 38-year-old married woman. I have been married for 12 years to Keji and we have four children though I had a child when I was 18 and in secondary school.

Before I got married to Keji, I told him about my daughter, Mide, and he accepted to adopt her as his own but today, the girl whom he agreed to take as his daughter is now pregnant for him under my nose. People blame me for allowing my daughter to live with us but how was I to know what Keji had in mind for her?

Other people think I knew what was happening between them but refused to act but God is my witness that I did not know what was going on. I have tried my best to bring up my daughter to be God fearing and I had hoped that Keji was doing his bit of training her as he does his biological children, not knowing that he had another training he was giving her.

Mide had been sick on and off, vomiting and spitting all over the place. Coupled with the fact that she was sleeping most of the time and becoming fatter, I got worried and called her into my room to ask what was wrong with her but she told me she was fine. As a woman, I knew the signs of pregnancy and told her she was pregnant and when she denied being pregnant, I forcefully took her for a test which turned out that she was three months gone.

On the way home, I asked her who was responsible for the pregnancy but she refused to talk and even when I reported to Keji, Mide still refused to mention who was responsible for her pregnancy. I had to invite my younger brother whom she feared so much for her to say it was Keji, her stepfather who got her pregnant.

I almost fainted at the news especially when he accepted that he was responsible and had been sleeping with her for many years under my own nose. Family members have advised that we cover the shame so that people will not know but I am hell bent on exposing the devil I call a husband.

I am fed up and want to leave him for my daughter.

What do you think she should do in the situation she has found herself? Is leaving the daughter to the husband the best option?
