Former Chelsea player, Juan Mata admits Manchester United want revenge on Chelsea ahead of their FA Cup quarterfinal. After Chelsea FC Beat Wolves 2-0 and United overcoming Blackburn Rovers by 2-1, a quarter final draw was set-up between Chelsea FC and Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea thrashed rival, United 4-0 earlier this season at Stamford Bridge. “It’s going to be another special game for me,” Mata told United’s official website.

“This is, without a doubt, one of the most complicated ties we could have. “But we will go there with the big motivation of earning a ticket to Wembley and forget the bad taste of our last visit to Stamford Bridge.”

Juan Manuel Mata García is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for English club Manchester United and the Spain national team. He mostly plays as a central attacking midfielder, but he can also play on the wing.

But let me ask you a simple question we all buy bread on daily basis and its a food item regulated by nafdac so have you ever noticed a mfg date or expiry date on it.
I personally have bought bread that doesnt hv expiry on it from shop even i tweeted on nafdac handle on twitter a long back but without response from them.
so instead worrying about a garri which is sold in supermarket which less than 1% of public will buy why cant we focus on daily bread which millions of nigerians buy every dayregulate it where u r needed most

Recall that a tweet first caught Nigerians attention on Sunday 19th February 2017 which was about a certain pack of Imported Garri with the source given as India, which was found on the shelve of a Nigerian supermarket. Now, the tweet have reached the stables of Nigeria Health Minister, Prof. Isaac Adewole.

According to Prof. Isaac Adewole, NAFDAC have jumped into investigations and proper actions will be taken on this matter.

"We knew we had work to do, and Monday 20th we did. Our actions and findings are outlined below: (Updates via @NafdacNigeria)"

1. NAFDAC Officers visited the Supermarket in Ikoyi today
2. 26 packets of 500mg each of the products were seized for analysis
3. The product has no NAFDAC number
4. The product is said to be from Ghana but packaged in UK
5. The Management of the Supermarket have been invited for further discussion in our Lagos office

Pictured above is Adebisi Akinrinmola, a 43-year-old man who was arrested by men of the Ogun state police command for allegedly killing his friend, 36 year old Ademola Asimiyu, over a lady they were both interested in. According to police report, the incident occurred on Sunday 19 February, 2017 at Ajebo Village in Ijebu-Igbo area of Ogun State.

When interrogated by the police, Adebisi said the deceased had accused him of snatching his girlfriend from him and asked him to leave the lady alone. Last Sunday, the deceased accosted him and the said lady on their way to his farm and a heated argument ensued.

In the process, the deceased brought out his cutlass to attack him. In defence, Adebisi said he brought out his dane gun and shot at the deceased who died instantly.

Confirming the incident, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu, says he has ordered that the suspect be transferred to homicide section of the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation. The remains of the deceased has been deposited at the state morgue.

Residents of Epe - Lagos State have called on Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to seek the intervention of the presidency for the deployment of officers of the Joint Taskforce (JTF) to curtail kidnapping in the area. The residents staged peaceful protest at the Governor’s Office in Alausa, Ikeja, demanding the assistance of the state government.

They carried placards with various inscriptions such as:

“Help us from kidnappers.’’
“Save farmers, save the nation,’’
“Please, flush out the creeks,’’
“Food security is threatened’,
“Save our Investments.’’

According to NAN, A spokesperson of the protesters, Mr Ayokunle Ore, said that their farms had been under attacks by kidnappers since September, 2016. He also said that 33 persons had been kidnapped from different farms and 26 of the victims released after payment of huge ransom. He added that seven other victims were still under the captivity of the kidnappers.

Addressing the protesters, Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Idiat Adebule condemned the incessant attacks by kidnappers in the area. She said that inspite of government’s efforts to make the state safe and secure for the residents and investors, some unscrupulous persons still engage in crime and make life difficult for people.

“Currently, the state government is speaking with the Federal Government to see how they can work with us to combat the problems of insecurity because we cannot do it alone. “Government cannot be involved in paying ransom, but will ensure that it provide the security agencies with necessary equipment and support to contain the situation and rescue the victims.

She sympathised with them and promised to relay their matter to Gov. Ambode.

Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr Says I Went To Balogun Market And It Was Wonderful

Super Eagles of Nigeria Coach Gernot Rohr recounts his experience and delight in shopping in Balogun market in Lagos Nigeria. Rohr resides officially in Abuja and mostly travels to Uyo for Nigeria's games hence he's hardly in Lagos that's why he was very happy when he finally spent time in one of Nigeria's commercial hub.

Rohr, 63, who has had a successful run with Nigeria teams so far says he also took a photo of the market and will send it to Nigerian defender Leon Balogun because he believes that's where his father hails from.

According to him:

“We went to Balogun market, it was wonderful and a big crowd and some people spoke about football. You must beat Cameroon’ they kept telling me,” Rohr told Super Eagles YouTube page. “I took a photo because I will send it to Leon Balogun. His father comes from there, I think. I had a beautiful day in Lagos. In this big city, very nice people, everybody is big on hospitality.


“I spend some time in Lagos, I have seen not only the final of the Federation Cup. I saw the Super Cup final in Abuja before coming back to Lagos.”

Cyclist riders popularly called Okada in Ghana have warned the Federal Government to legalize their trade or risk increased crime in the country. They group called on the NPP Government to intervene on their behalf over a ban on commercial motorcycles.

Their cry follows a decision by the Driver, Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA) and the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service, to kick against the proposed legalization of the commercial use of motorbikes known as 'Okada' operations.

According to them, Okada operations is their only source of livelihood, notwithstanding helping ease traffic congestion in Ghana.Speaking with Pulse Ghana, The Chairman of the Okada group, Morro, pleaded with the President Nana Addo not to ban the use of commercial motorcycles. 'We thought we were voting for change, now that the change is here Nana wants to ban Okada. Nana Addo please we are pleading with you, allow us to do our work in peace.'

While Musah Adama, a motorist with the group also said the ban on commercial motorcycles will subject them to armed robbery. 'We are here helping people and easing traffic and DVLA wants us banned, no problem. We would just gather in front of banks and rob people to survive. I just don’t understand why they won't leave us alone.

When you go to Kumasi, you would see a lot of robbers there who have been left unarrested but here we are working and you claim you want to ban it. What is the reason?' He added.

It was indeed a nightmare for the people gathered for a religious parade in China as an out-of-control tanker smashes into their gathering and killing 2 of their members instantly.

According to Mail Online, 2 people lost their lives on the incident while 3 others were injured when an oil tanker lost control and plunged into villagers who were celebrating their ancestors with a parade in Guangdong, China on February 13th.

The villagers who were from nearby Meizhou were by one side of the road, dancing to the beat of a drum when the large vehicle began heading straight for the people. The trailer smashed into their midst, raising dust as it sped and crushed their members beneath its wheels before it finally veered off the road and stopped.

Eric Arubayi, is a talented Gospel singer and he has passed on. The artiste, in his early 30s, died on Saturday at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital.

Eric is said to have fallen sick earlier in the week and was rushed to the hospital. Eric Arubayi was 3rd runner up at the maiden edition of the West African Idol.

Timi Dakolo, who won the prize, was part of groomsmen as Eric wedded Chiononso Iiomah on December 28, 2013 in Abraka, Delta State.

Eric and Chinonso celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary recently. The couple has a son together.

I know this might sound funny to you, but to me, is not funny but kind of amazing. I know i have not traveled too much though but I have never come across this shape of yansh before ...lol. This is the truth and as the saying goes, what you don't know or have not seen amazes you.

War of words (on twitter) are still going on between the former two US presidential aspirants, Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton. Thought the election is done and dusted and the former won, both Hilary and Trump hardly pass up the opportunity to spite at each other on socials.

Recall that US President, Donald Trump issued a memo banning 7 Muslim countries from traveling to the USA. Though the battle has been in court for quite sometime, two different court have revoked the ban saying it is unconstitutional and Un-American and the latest being today by the US Appeal Court 9th Circuit.

After the ban got revoked, Hilary Clinton simple tweeter:
