Autopsy Conducted Shows That Senator Isiaka Adeleke Died From Painkiller Overdose

Could this be possible? Or is this the government magic Fela Kuti was talking about in one of his tracks? According to pathologists who carried out an autopsy on Sen Adelekehim before he was buried, the senator reportedly died of overdose of painkillers.

The lifeless body of Adeleke was returned to LAUTECH Hospital, Osogbo, for an autopsy after his sudden death at the hospital on Sunday.

Reports that followed his death was that he had died of cardiac arrest, but the indigenes of his home town, Ede, insisted that they wanted to know the cause of his death on the assumption that his death was not natural.

According to Sahara Reporters, the politician did not die of poisoning but as a result of an overdose of painkillers intravenously administered on him.

Lagos State Police are currently on the trail of a man identified as Omolaja Shodipo who allegedly murdered his wife and fled their home in Ikorodu. According to neighbours, Omolaja had a disagreement with his wife on Sunday April 23rd and the disagreement continued into yesterday and he physically attacked her killing her in the process.

The husband upon seeing his wife had died, began to cry, scream and roll on the floor. As his neighbors moved to his house to inquire why he was crying, he fled the scene and has not been seen or heard from.

When the neighbors went into his house, they found his wife and mother of his four children on the floor in the pool of her blood. They also found an axe close to the deceased. However the axe had no blood stain on it.

The policemen at Owutu police station were invited and the remains of the woman was taken away and deposited at the General hospital morgue in Ikorodu. Confirming the incident, the Lagos state command spokesperson, Olarinde Famous-Cole, said the police is currently in search of the man

Children has now joined in on IPOB leaders freedom protest. According to Daily Post, The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has adopted a new strategy of using children to protest against the secret trial of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu. Children were used on the streets of Aba, Abia State to protest the release of the IPOB leader and to show displeasure over his planned secret trial.

In a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, the pro-Biafra group stated that the new strategy of using children to protest would be carried to other parts of Igbo land. The group urged women all over the South East to get ready as the next set of protests would be by women of the region.

In Emma's statement:

“We commend the organisers and the children who came out for the children’s rally and peaceful protest against the secret trial pronounced by President Muhammadu Buhari against our leader. “Children in Aba protested against the secret trial and illegal detention of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and others who had been illegally detained since 14th October 2015 in kuje prison Abuja.

“The children’s peaceful rally in Aba today is a lesson to the Nigeria Government and those who are sabotaging the struggle for the liberation of God’s people on earth which is Biafra. “When our supreme leader and prophet of our time Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said it on radio Biafra, those who does not understand the language of heaven tagged it hate speech.

“The spirit of Biafra is now hovering everywhere around the world, arresting the good people for Biafra restoration and no man born of a woman can stop the liberation of good people of Biafra. “The children’s peaceful rally today in Aba will soon go round the Biafraland in solidarity to our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and for the restoration of ancient nation of Biafra.

“Also women in Biafraland should prepare for the women’s rally and peaceful protest against the sharia law and secret trial pronounced by Binta Nyako and for the restoration of Biafra.”

It would be recall that the Justice Binta Nyako-led Court had fixed April 25 to deliver ruling on whether to continue with its earlier ruling of Kanu being tried in secret or not. Kanu alongside Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi are currently standing trial on criminal charges before the Justice Nyako-led court.

It is very easy to "talk the talk" and not "walk the talk" especially in this part of the world and to be specific, in Nigeria. We always talk about Agro business and we do little or no impart to develop the sector and most of our Agro food and production are still done in the olden ways (akaic ways).

When are we going to mechanize our farming? I have seen many places and people that produces this palm oil and what my eye saw is a sight that is not pleasant to see. So palm oil is still produced like in the olden days. I don't even want to talk about how some other things are being produced but palm oil? That we consume everyday?
