This development really came to people as a surprise because Nigerians believe that President Buhari has little or no power on what is going on around him. Even the President's wife expressed that fear when she granted and interview with BBC News and threatened not to support his husband if things continue "with the hands of cabals all over it". But today marked a different era per say as President Buhari suspended the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, David Babachir Lawal, and Director-General, National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ayo Oke over contract scams. The Federal High Court today ruled that the $48m (Forty Eight Million Dollars) recovered from Osborne Towers in Ikoyi be forfeited to the Federal Government. The judge also said that anybody or organization who thinks the sum shouldn't be forfeited as ruled, should appear before him and state his case. What do you think about this ruling? Well, former Presidential aide to former President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is at it again. The thing is, whether you like what is going to say or not, he will say it anyway. This time is not about politics but the matters of the heart (relationship). And this is for ladies and maybe guys too. According to him: You can't cheat on girlfriend. You only cheat on wives. See with girlfriend is itself cheating. Sex is exclusively for marriage. Ladies hope you heard that. I think their is something on his mind that he failed to reveal and I can hear him screaming about it and am gonna reveal it to you ladies... If you guy goes out with another girl, he is not technically cheating on you cuz you are not his wife yet. So get that into your heads ladies...lol more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/04/reno-omokri-agaian-you-cant-cheat-on.html cc lalasticlala

Engr. Saleh Dunoma, The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) according to reports, said that the runway of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, would be ready by April 17, two days ahead of the deadline. He gave the assurance in a statement signed by the media consultant to the Minister of State for Aviation, Mr Ariyo Akinfenwa, on Sunday in Lagos. The statement reads in part: “We will be ready April 17 but we are leaving the remaining two days for Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). “We have written to them and they will come by today (Sunday) to do the preliminary inspection. “They have to certify the airport that what we have done is in accordance with their standards. ”If there is any observation as a result of the inspection, we will now make sure we carry out corrections,” the FAAN boss said after inspecting the progress of work at the airport. He maintained that with the work done, the April 19 deadline for the reopening of the airport is no longer in doubt. “All the critical items of work are 100 per cent except may be two items; which of course are the markings and the cleaning. “Asphalt work is 100 per cent, markings have reached almost 70 per cent and the airfield lighting system has reached 80 per cent, ” Dunoma added. The FAAN boss further explained that the newly constructed runway does not need calibration because the previous Navigational Aids were not tampered with. “The runway does not need calibration. All we need to check is to make sure there is 100 per cent illumination. “Calibration is done periodically. When the time come for calibration, the appropriate authority will calibrate the Instrument Landing System (ILS),”he said. According to NAN, Dunoma also noted that the terminal building was also ready for flight operations. The Abuja airport was shut on March 8 for six weeks to enable Julius Berger rebuild the 3.6 kilometre runway. The runway, which was constructed in 1982 was meant to last for 20 years, but had been in use for 35 years without major repairs and maintenance thereby necessitating the repair and maintenance this period. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/04/breaking-abuja-international-airport.html cc lalasticlala mynd44

This is important Tonye, you raised valid and salient points that begs for answers. I have been asking myself this same question. How can someone bring luggage into an airport and couldn't account for the money and then before EFCC operatives arrived, he evades the whole security in the airport and flew into the thin air? I mean he also evaded the cctv cameras in the airport abi? Cus no picture has been put out as "wanted". I might not have been born long ago but definitely, I was not born yesterday. I love your write and with your permission, I would like to re-post it on my blog? - exlinklodge.com |

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC according to a Facebook user @ Azibaola Robert, invaded a company in Bayelsa State and vandalized everything on their way, including company equipment, containers as so fort. It is believed that EFCC is acting on anonymous whistle-blower tip off but apparently, it didn't yield any results this time. Mr. Robert, who is the Managing Director of Kakatar Construction and Engineering Company wrote this on his Facebook wall: More pics below... more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/04/efcc-invades-company-vandalize-their.html cc lalasticlala

Stumbled upon this letter to a relationship blogger, Joro by a concerned husband who doesn't know were to turn to. The man is a Banker and resides in Lagos State and he cried out to relationship blogger, on the series of ‘assaults’ he goes through from his wife while making love to her. Is this normal? Please read the post below.. "Please I'm losing my job gradually, my wife slaps me and punches me during sex and sometimes she bites. It defaces me and I work for a huge customer base bank in Nigeria, Lagos to be precise. I work at the front desk, my boss thinks I'm a part time thug, I can't confess to her that my facial injuries are as a result of sexual intercourse with my wife. I've complained to my wife but she doesn't want to understand and she wants sex too often, Please advice". Human Right lawyer, Femi Falana, on Wednesday took a stand and disclosed that Federal Government was losing high profile cases due to negligence and lack of inter-agency cooperation between the Federal Ministry of Justice and security agencies. Speaking at a train-the-trainer programme organised by the United Nations Development Programme, UNDP, and Human and Environmental Development Agenda, HEDA, in Lagos, the lawyer said corruption was not fighting back, adding that there was no basis for blaming the judiciary for the cases lost. According to Falana: ”It is my submission that the courts cannot be blamed for the official negligence as well as lack of inter-agency collaboration and coordination of the investigation and prosecution of corruption cases by the federal government. ”On some occasions, the State Security Service has refused to produce accused persons in court without any reason whatsoever. The development has led to the unnecessary delay in the prosecution of very serious corruption cases. ”It is obvious that the federal government wants to eat omelet without breaking eggs. It won’t work. Was it not because the accused persons had put together teams of senior and experienced lawyers that the federal government decided to set up a national prosecution agency? ”But as no fund was made available to the agency, corruption cases have not been assigned to the members of the agency. With the virtual collapse of the agency, the anti graft agencies have been left on their own.” Just last week, Federal government lost its cases to senior lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, former first lady; Patience Jonathan, former minister; Elder Godsday Orubebe and Justice Adeniyi Ademola. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/04/corruption-is-not-fighting-back-why-fg.html cc lalasticlala mynd44 dominique
