My Fiancee is fond of making me angry. She takes pleasure in seeing me angry! I think it empowers her somehow!! She like the kind of power it gives her over me.

And I noticed she does not apology when she does so, which is becoming too frequent these days.

She thinks she is irreplaceable, before we both claimed we heard from God concerning our being joined together as Husband & Wife.

I am tired of reporting her to third parties to talk to her.

I am also tired of threatening to call off the wedding, if her new found attitude persists.

I am tired of correcting and warning her.

I just want to enjoy my marriage & my relationship with her.

I just want a Happy Home!

I have told her times without number that the one thing I want & I need from her is just[b] RESPECT[/b]!

I am not asking for too much!

I did not have a cordial relationship with my mom, my elder sister and almost all my aunties, throughout my childhood, till I left home!!

Became independent of them, and started making some money.

Now I am there favorite!

Now my mom & sister tell me how much they love me!

When I needed to hear or to feel the warmth of their love!

All I ever got from them while growing up, were their razor sharp tongues and beatings.

I wish not to have such relationship with my spouse.

I do not want to resent coming back home everyday, till death do us part.

The last 10 years of my life have been the best years of my life, and I pray it continues like that. But I am emotional abused by my wife to be.

I noticed she is suddenly threatened by my statues, little fortune and fame.

I have never lord it over her! But the sweet little girl I proposed to has disappeared, now I am dealing with her alter ego!

She condemns, disapproves, criticisms and disobeys me at all times. Not because my ideals or suggestions are not good enough or that she has a better alternatives.

But just to prove to me that I can not control her.

If she doesn't have her way, she will start rebelling. It must be her way or no other way. Most times she does that out of spite.

Everybody loves her, everybody sees her as the Saint.

While because of my looks and built I am easily tagged the Beast!

She always provoke me to try to hit her, mostly whenever we are in the public or after having a good time. Like She is a Joy Killer! She was not like this before. Just suddenly changed to an emotional tormentor!

But I have promised My GOD I will never hit a lady, talk-less of my wife, after the last lady I beat fainted about 20 years ago. Thank GOD she did not die.

I wonder if this marriage will last.

She fears everybody but me. She dares me a lot. And she does that in subtle ways. So most times friends sees me walking away in angry or losing my cool, while she remain cool & calculative.

Now more and more people are saying I have angry issues. Only few cares to know why the sudden change!

I think she is afraid of being in a good relationship, where she is loved unconditional!

So she is working very hard to destroy what brings her joy.

Should I continue with our wedding plans? which I now do solo! For the sake of the peace of my mind! Because she condemns everything plan I make, but doesn't want to take charge of the planning herself!

Will she ever be repentant and come to her senses!?

I don't want to die before my time!

Introduction:
To submit means to accept the authority, control or greater strength of somebody or something. In the above text (1 Peter 2:13-14) The Bible talks about submission to the authorities in government, submission to masters, and so on. When people look at Christians, they shouldn’t find those who are slandering their leaders or starting riots to overthrown government.

Why Should Believers Submit Even To Unjust Authorities?
1. Believers should submit to authorities to honour God. God allows the government in power and He commanded us to be submissive to them.
1 Peter 2:13

4. Believers should submit to authorities because they are free from sin.

5. It is an act to forgive one another and obey God at the same time.

6. Believers should submit to authorities because of reward.

Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust. 19 For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. 20 For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God.

7. Believers should submit to authorities because of the example of Christ.

21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

22 “He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth.”

8. Believers should submit to authorities because God judges justly.

Conclusion:
We can submit even to unjust authorities because of Christ’s example. He submitted and suffered in a manner that honoured God.

Being hungry for the things of God is one of the best things that can happen to us.

Matthew 5:1-9

In the natural world, people eat even when they aren't hungry. Many of us can prove that by turning sideways and looking at ourselves in the mirror. But in the spiritual realm, only those who are hungry can get fed. One of the worst things that can happen to us is spiritual complacency.

Being hungry for the things of God is one of the best things that can happen to us. Most people don't feel that way. They would rather have the feeling of being full. But Jesus promised us that fullness would follow hunger. No hunger, no fullness.

Therefore, what many people hate is actually a sign of spiritual health. Longing for more of God is a healthy sign. No one hungers for God on their own. That is not the nature of man. No man hungers for God unless the Spirit of God is drawing him (Jn. 6:44).

Hungering for God doesn't cause God to move in our lives, but it is a sign that God is already at work in us. We should praise God for spiritual hunger and be encouraged. He doesn't make us hungry and then let us starve. He does so in order to fill us with His blessings and love. We need a hunger that will never be satisfied until the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Tonight we want to discuss Stronger than Your Enemies (Part 1) and as usual we will want to start by talking to those who are not yet born again so that they won’t miss part of the blessings that we come later tonight.

I know this year will be special because the Lord says there is someone here today, He said, every month of this year you will enjoy wonders.

Romans chapter 8 verse 31:

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”

When God is on your side without any doubt, you are more than a conqueror because all the enemies need to see is to see God arising up in your support.

You see Psalm 68 verse 1 to 3 says let God arise and His enemies will scatter.

So, if God is behind us; when God arises and the enemies see who is behind you, they run.

The Elders have a proverb, they said, Dada cannot fight but he has a very courageous brother

Even if I cannot fight, if they see my God they will run.

I keep telling people, Pastor Adeboye is nothing, I can do nothing, I cannot heal rat, I cannot save a goat but my God that is a different story entirely – my God can do absolutely anything and He is going to do something wondrous for somebody here tonight in Jesus’ name.

Now, according to Acts chapter 9 verse 1 to 5, your enemies are His enemies if He is on your side.

Because Saul of Tarsus persecuting Christians but when God knocked him down (as He is going to do to your enemies this year) Saul ask God, who are you?

Jesus told him, I AM Jesus, the One you are persecuting.

It must have been a surprise to Paul - I cannot see you, how can You say I am persecuting You!

Oh, if you are persecuting My children, you are persecuting Me.

If you are a child of God, your enemies are God enemies; that is why your enemies are in trouble.

That is why the Bible says in James chapter 4 verse 7: if only you will submit to God; even the devil will see you coming and run.

Because He says if you submit to God, you resist the devil, he will flee.

To flee means run as in terror.

You will see in one of the verses of the song, special son, compose for the Holy Ghost service: it says to the devil I am a terror.

If you are one of God’s children you are a terror to the devil.

According to Acts chapter 19 from verse 13 to 17, if you belong to God devils will recognize you because some people were trying to cast out a devil in the name of Jesus that Paul preaches and devil said Jesus I know, Paul I know but who are you?

If you belong to God the devil knows who you are.

The devil knows who I am for example and I am sure he knows who you are if you are truly born again.

And because demons recognize us, they know the authorities we carry, they know the power of the One supporting us and so we can cast them out

Mark 16 verse 17 says, and these signs shall follow them that believe – and these signs shall follow them that are children of God.

In My name they will cast out devil – that is the first thing He says we will do – cast them out.

According to Isaiah 54 verse 16 to 17, the word of God says if you belong to God no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Why?

Because God says I AM the maker of the instrument that they would put together to form the weapon.

If the herbalist join leaves and roots together against you and you belong to God, God will tell the leaves and the roots not to function.

Because He made them and they obey Him.

He says, okay, leaves you can perform special function; roots you can perform special function but that is at My command.

You belong to Jesus Christ no weapon formed against you shall prosper – impossible.

Some of you heard the testimony of our brother Apostle Bangbola.

The wife was a violent Christian and he was a violent antichrist and he did not like the way the wife was tormenting him with her prayers.

So, he got all manners of charm to get rid of the woman – the kind of charm that they said sprinkles it on her dress; if only she could wear the dress, she will be dead.

She wore the dress and got younger.

If you belong to the Almighty God no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

As a matter of fact in Numbers 23, if you read from verse 19 to 24 (Numbers 23:19 to 24), if the enemies want to curse you and you belong to God, as he is opening his mouth to curse you, blessing will be flowing.

When he want to say you will die; he will open his mouth and say you will never die.

When he wants to say you will be poor, he will say you become the richest in the town.

That is the way of God; that He does if you belong to Him.

But if He is against you, O O! where will you run to?

If God becomes your enemy, you go to the mountain top, He is there.

Go to the bottom of the sea, He is there.

Anywhere you tried to run from Him, you will meet Him there.

And the moment the enemy knows that you are not on the side of God, they know you are easy meat.

As a matter of fact, I think I have told you before; all that God needs to do for the devil to finish you is for God to do nothing.

All He has to do is remain neutral.

I told you my father told me that when the Lion wakes up in the morning, he prays one prayer: God show me the animal I will eat today and leave the two of us alone – don’t help me, don’t help the animal, just show me and then remain neutral.

If the devil ever prays a prayer, it will be God show me the fellow I will destroy today and leave the two of us alone.

If God leaves you alone, you are finished.

Saying that Daddy why are you not saying something? Can’t you see what is going on?

Well, I am a Christian and as a Christian I belong to the Christian Association of Nigeria and the Christian Association of Nigeria has a Chairman or President.

Whatever He says, that is what I have said.

I am a Pentecostal; I belong to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria

And the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria has a President

Whatever my president says that is what I have said.

That is how to be under authority.

But to you my children and this time I am talking to my children alone.

I am not talking to Nigerians; this is not a press conference; I am talking to my children.

You see there are two sides of me:

One side is a Mathematician

The other is a Pastor

And somehow I cannot separate the two for long.

So, before I ask you to pray I am going to spell out some equations which we will solve simultaneously after which will do what we should do.

Equation 1: There are certain problems beyond man – there are certain problems man cannot solve.

Equation 2: There is no problem beyond God (that is equation 2) - Luke chapter 18 verse 27

Thank You Father

We want to spell out equations but God asks me tell somebody you have been suffering from severe neck pain, it started as if you did not sleep well but continue to become something serious; He asked me to tell you, the pain is gone.

So, where are we now?

Equation 2 – No problem beyond God – Luke 18:27

Equation 3 says: Man can hide from man – A man can hide from other men.

Equation 4 says: NO man can hide from God

Psalm 139 verse 7 to 12: David said, where can I hide from Your Spirit? If I go to the top of the mountain You are there; I go to the bottom of the sea, You are there – there is no where I can hide.

Equation 5 says: Security Agents can be compromised – you can bride your way from the clutches of security agents – Security agent can be compromised.

Equation 6 says: God cannot be compromised - His holiness is not negotiable.

Isaiah chapter 6 verse 1 to 3: the angels are always crying holy, holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.

Equation (which equation is that one now?) 7 says: Man can sponsor evil – it is possible for man to sponsor evil.

Esther chapter 3 verse 8 to 9: A man called Haman said to the king, I want you to destroy the Jews; here is money for you to do it – I will pay you for killing the Jews

Equation 8 says: God cannot sponsor evil – it is impossible for God to sponsor evil - Job chapter 8 verse 20

So, we have eight simultaneous equations

If we solve these equations simultaneously, there is only one answer: “the Prayer Warrior is more effective than the Activist” – that is the solution.

If we put it another way, in a slightly deeper way, you will come to the conclusion that – you can call that the corollary – that, the enemies of God and the children of God make the same mistake.

There is only one mistake that is common to both the enemies of God and the children of God – they have one mistake in common

And what is that mistake?

Both of them underrate the power of prayer.

The enemies of God underrate the power of prayer;

We the children of God underrate the power of prayer.

But there are some of us who have come to realize that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, and they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holes.

So, that is why I am calling on you my children, I am talking to my children; I am going to ask you to pray some prayers tonight.

I want you to pray with the same energy, with the same intensity with which we pray the prayer against kidnappers when they kidnapped those school children and result came rapidly.

I don’t want you to pray like ladies and gentlemen tonight, I want you to pray like the children of the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

Are you ready to pray?

Stand on your feet and let me hear shout hallelujah.

You will lift voice to the Almighty God and say: Father, wherever those who are shedding blood are hiding, expose them and deal with them.

Go ahead talk to the Almighty God.

They cannot hide from You, You know where they are, expose them Lord and deal with them. All those who are shedding blood, wherever they are hiding, expose them and deal with them; expose them, deal with them. Almighty God, they cannot hide from You, You know where they are, expose them and deal with them. Thank You Father.

You are going to pray prayer number two and say: Father, all those who are condoling evil, all those who are conniving with them, expose them and deal with them.

Go ahead talk to the Almighty God.

All those who are condoling the evil doers, all those who are conniving with evil doers, Almighty God wherever they are; all those who have been compromised by evil doers, expose them and deal with them; expose them and deal them, You are the Almighty, You are the Almighty God, show Yourself mighty; show Yourself mighty O Lord, expose them and deal with them. Thank You Father.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Prayer number three: you will say: Father, all those who are sponsoring evil and bloodshed, expose them and destroy them.

Go ahead and talk to the Almighty God.

All those who are sponsoring evil, all those who are sponsoring bloodshed, don’t just expose them, destroy them; destroy them; Holy One of Israel arise, expose all those who are sponsoring evil, all those who are sponsoring bloodshed, Father expose them and deal with them. Thank You Father.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

Just one more prayer; this one we want to make it a bit personal.

You will lift your voice to the Almighty God and say: Father, anyone focusing on me, my family, Your church, for evil intensions, Father, destroy them.

Open your mouth and cry to the Almighty God.

Anyone focusing on me, my family, Your church, for evil intensions, Oh ***speaking in the Spirit*** Father, destroy them; wipe them out; wipe them out Lord. All those who are focusing on me, focusing on my family, focusing on my ministry, focusing on Your church, for evil intensions, haa, Father, wipe them out. Thank You Father.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

And so shall it be in Jesus’ name.

You better let the heaven hear your amen.

Now we are talking about Stronger than your Enemies Part Two

Our text as from last month is in Luke chapter 11 verses 21 and 22:

21When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:

22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

Now that is the main text.

The text for part two for tonight in found in Mark 11 from verse 22 to 23:

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have Faith in God.

Turn to your neighbour and say have faith in God.

Say it one more time.

Say it the third time so that they will know it is serious

Okay

23 For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Please help me prophesy to your neighbour, God will answer you by fire tonight.

Now, let us spend few minutes appealing to those who are not yet children of God to surrender their lives to Jesus.

You see, it is not possible for a sinner to be stronger than his enemy.

Because according to the word of God, the hand of the sinner is weaken from heaven.

God says is in Proverb 13 verse 15, He says the ways of transgressors are hard.

The Yoruba interpretation is so accurate.

It says: God has given travail to the sinner.

In other words, the sinner is programmed to fail by God Himself.

In Proverbs chapter 11 verse 21, God said, even if hands join hands, a sinner will not go unpunished.

In other words, there is no way a sinner can overcome his enemy.

God saying even if he is hiding among the rest of us, if he singing with us, shouting with us but he is living in sin, God say there is no way he can escape punishment.

When you read Deuteronomy 28 verse 1 and 7,, the Bible says when you hearken diligently to voice of the Lord your God, to observe and to do all that He commands you;

He says in verse 7: when enemies come against you in one way, they will flee seven ways.

In other words, if you are child of God, the Almighty God said I will already fight your battles for you.

And if God is fighting for you, if He is the One smiting your enemies, there is no way the enemies can win.

However, if you are a sinner, according to Proverbs 28 verse 1, it says, the sinner flew when nobody is even pursuing him.

In other words, even when there are no enemies, a sinner will still be running.

I saw someone several years ago

He looked up he said haa you people followed me here.

I said, which people?

He said can’t you see?

When I looked up the only thing I saw was a lizard.

Haa, he said you don’t know them, they can change to lizard.

Sinners flee when nobody is pursuing.

So, there is no way sinner can be stronger than his enemies, he is already running, he cannot even stay to fight.

And then it shows clearly in John chapter 5 verse 2 to 14, it tells us that if God should give a sinner victory by grace, if God graciously decide to give victory to a sinner, something more terrible will still come upon him – the story of man who was sick for thirty-eight years.

And Jesus healed him without even asking him to give his life.

But he told him, if you continue with your sin something worse will come.

The Bible stated it clearly, Romans chapter 6 verse 23: the wages of sin is death.

There is no way the sinner can defeat the enemy – no way – the odd against him is too high.

Sinner will die because the wages of sin is death.

But if the sinner will surrender to Jesus then God says he will get the gift of life.

So in brief, those of you listening to me and you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus; you have a choice to make.

In Deuteronomy chapter 30 from verse 19 to 20, God said, I AM placing before you a choice blessing or cursing; life or death; He said chose life that you and your seed may live.

You can continue to live in your sin and continue to be defeated.

Or you can come to the Lord Jesus Christ and have the Lord of host as your ally.

If God is behind you, if God is for you, there is no enemy that can withstand you.

So for two/three minutes those of you who are yet to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, come and do so now.

I am going to count from one to ten; if by the time I say ten you are not already standing before me I will know you have made up your mind you want to remain in your sin, no problem;

The enemy will like that very much because they will keep on dominating you.

But if you are tired of being dominated by your enemies and you want to be stronger than your enemies, come and surrender your life to Jesus; let His blood wash away your sins and you have a brand new beginning.

I am counting now:

One,

And those of you in the old arena you just go towards the altar there are men of God there who will attend to you.

Two,

Those of you at the other viewing stations just move towards the altar and the men of God there will attend to you also.

Surrender your life to Jesus and He will save your soul.

Three,

Now, don’t come to Him if you are not ready for a new life because if you come to Him you must say bye-bye to a life of sin; you must be ready to live a holy live for the Almighty God that is the condition.

When He said come unto me all ye that labour and heavy laden and I will give you rest, He said you must be ready to take My yoke upon you – the yoke of holiness.

Four, five, six,

Thank you those of you who are clapping

Seven, eight, nine,

Now, those of you who have come and those of you who are on the way begin to cry to Jesus now: ask Him to have mercy on you, ask Him to save your soul, ask Him to please forgive all your sin, promise Him from now on you will serve Him, ask Him to be Your Lord, ask Him to be Your Saviour; promise Him from this day onward you will be one of His children doing His will. The rest of us let us stretch our hands towards these people and intercede for them: pray that the One who saved our souls will save their own souls also; pray that God will give them a brand new beginning; let us intercede for them. If you are still on the way you have to hurry up now because the time for this section is almost over; come very quickly. Oh thank You Jesus. Let us pray for them for another thirty seconds, anyone still coming you have to hurry up, hurry up here, hurry up in the old arena, hurry up in the other viewing centres and cry to the Almighty God: ask God to be merciful unto you, ask God to forgive all your sin, ask Him to give you a new beginning; promise Him from now I will serve You, I will do Your will, I am tired of the devil anyway, I don’t want to live a life to sin anymore. Thank You Father.

In Jesus mighty name we have prayed.

My Father and my God I want to thank You for Your word and I want to thank You for your promise that whosoever will come unto You, You will no wise cast out; these people have come to You now please receive them in Jesus’ name; have mercy on them; save their souls; let Your blood wash away their sins; receive them into the family of God, give them a brand new beginning; please Lord don’t let them backslide, let them serve You till the very end.

Now, those of you in front I want to rejoice with you because from now by God’s grace I will be praying for you so I am going to need your names, your address and your prayer requests.

Mark 11:22 to 23 says we should have faith in God, I believe that one is easy.

If we don’t have faith in God I don’t think we will be here tonight.

And He says if we have faith and we doubt not we will say to this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into sea; as long as we don’t doubt, it shall be so.

Now, a mountain symbolizes a huge enemy: a strong adversary well rooted; a hindering force.

Mountain is something that says you are not going forward.

So what do we do if we find such a mountain in our lives?

I am going to beg you tonight to pray like you have never prayed before because Daddy promised me - and I think I have told you in some of the prophesies for the year – that mountains are going to move.

And since the prophesy He gave for examples for the international seeing are already coming to past: increase in flood; cold getting colder, hot getting hotter;

If you have been following the news, count down to the last has started.

If you listen to the news you will hear the Scientist saying now that the clock for the doom day has been moved forward to two minutes before midnight.

Even the Scientists have come out to say the end is near.

So if all these prophesy are already coming to past, I want the one about mountains moving to begin in your life right now.

So, what do we do if we find a mountain or we identify a mountain in our lives?

First thing is: Don’t ignore the mountain - You have to confront in order to conquer.

What you tolerate stays with you.

But what you confront, you can conquer.

In Matthew chapter 18 verse 18, the Bible says whatsoever you bind on earth is bound in heaven; whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Bible scholars say what that means is whatever you allow, God will allow it; whatever you forbid, God will forbid it.

As long as you tolerate the mountain, it will stay.

In 2Kings chapter 4 verse 1 to 7, that widow of one of the sons of the Prophets, kept on tolerating poverty until the creditors came and said your children; then she woke up.

The day she cried out for help that is the day help came.

Help is going to come to somebody today.

In Matthew chapter 8 verse 1 to 4, the Bible tells us about a leper who came to Jesus Christ.

Only God knows how long he had been a leper.

He had been tolerating it; incurable disease, isolation; he kept on tolerating until one day he said no more - that was the day he was healed.

In Mark chapter 10 verse 46 to 52, for forty years Bartimaeus had been begging, he has surrendered to darkness.

He said, okay, O God made me this way; so he kept on begging.

But one day he made up his mind, ha ha, no more; no more darkness; no more begging; I want to see light.

The day he cried was the day he was free.

The meaning of doctrine is the account and content of any teaching. There are many kinds of doctrines. We have the doctrine of devils (1Tim 4:1). There are diverse and strange doctrines (Heb 13:9) "Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. Jesus forewarned that His doctrine might be polluted or lost completely by the time He came back (Luke 18:.

The original doctrine of Christ can be found in Matt 7:28 & 29 "When Jesus had finished saying these things the crowds were amazed at His teaching because He taught as one who had authority and not as their teachers of the law." Jesus declared His doctrine to be divine and not man-made. "Jesus answered "My teaching is not my own. It comes from Him who sent me (God the Father). If anyone chooses to do God's will he will find out whether My teaching comes from God or whether I speak of My own (John 7:16 &17)

In order to preserve this divine doctrine, God has appointed Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Workers of miracles, those who have gifts of Healing And Helpers with gifts of administration and those speaking in tongues (1 Cor. 12:28).

However, from history, the doctrine was polluted during the 1,000 years of the Dark Ages before God, in His mercy, revived it through Martin Luther.

The original doctrine of Christ is summarized as seeking the Kingdom of God first and His righteousness. Our Lord often warned His disciples of false doctrine as "Leaven of Pharisees". We need to take care and be more watchful today than they of those days.

PRAYER:
Almighty God, I pray Thee to renew Your divine doctrine in our hearts for our salvation, peace, righteousness and holiness for Christ's sake.

"Nazareth!" exclaimed Nathanael. "Can anything good come from Nazareth?" "Come and see for yourself," Philip replied.

Acts 5

Job 13-14.


Philip found that Jesus Christ was too sweet to keep to himself and therefore looked for Nathaniel. Jesus was like any other man living in Palestine. It was what Philip and others had discovered about Him that made Him different. Nathaniel thought the Messiah should come from an important town like Jerusalem, the capital, Bethlehem (the City of David), or even from Israel or from his own town, Canaan. Philip's response to Nathaniel's skepticism was 'COME AND SEE' come and meet Him yourself first before you decide otherwise.

It took only two statements by Jesus to turn Nathaniel from a skeptic into a believer. These statements show Jesus as the all-knowing (omniscient) and all-seeing (an aspect of omnipresence). "Here is a true Israelite in whom there is nothing false" and I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you (John 1:48b).

Nathaniel became a believer because of Jesus' ability to know what is in people' hearts and minds and see into hidden places. But Jesus tells him that his belief needs more content. Jesus is also the link between heaven and earth. His title 'SON OF MAN' focuses on His mission here on earth, His humble identification with humanity and His reign as King.

Nathaniel then made one of the key declarations about Jesus in the gospel of John. He said "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel" (John 1:49). Nathaniel was humble enough to admit that his former stand was wrong and did not hesitate to worship Jesus. Sadly, some people have totally rejected the gospel of Christ because they want to appear to be tough people. Unfortunately, their toughness is also their foolishness. The evidence is too strong for anyone who is wise to ignore. What about you? Be wise.

PRAYER:
God Eternal, remove my pride and the foolishness of not totally accepting You. Give me Your wisdom and understanding to accept You as my Lord and Saviour in Christ's name. Amen.

10. The day shall differentiate between those who harbour secret sins from those who abhor secret sins. Gal 5:20-21



11. The day shall separate those whose lives are hidden in Christ from those who are hiding in the church. Luke 13:27



12. The day shall show a glaring, clear, conspicuous, demarcation between Christians who walk on the path of holiness from those who walk on the path of worldliness. Heb 12:14



13. It shall be a day of double emotion: joy for some and unimaginable, indescribable, uncontrollable regrets for others. Luke 13:28



14. It shall be a day of surprises- some “Big names” may miss the flight while some “Less known” may be on board. 1 Cor 1:27



15. Another surprise may be that a man or woman who had faithfully served the Lord for many years may defile his or her garment a few minutes before the sound of that summoning trumpet and miss the flight while a notorious sinner may surrender his or her life to Jesus within the same time frame and go to heaven. Ezekiel 3:20



16. This event may happen now, today, this week, this month, this year or next year! Matt 24:36



17. Wise Christians, like the five virgins that took extra oil, are expected to get ready, yes, to get prepared. Matt 25:1-13



18. After the event, all those who are bitter against one another, malicious, unforgiving, jealous, arrogant, haters, hypocrites, drunkards, fornicators, adulterers, adulteresses, murderers with weapons and murderers with tongue etc, shall have enough time to continue in their trade. Heb 12:14-15.



19. When the event is over there shall be revival among those who have chosen to stay behind not because there will be a second chance, no, but because the reality of the event would have struck them like a thunderbolt. But they will have to pay with their own blood. 2 Tim 4:3
