Christianity Etc › Re: Help! My Conscience Is Killling Me by Callotti:
You may have had issues with public and domestic intoxication in the past, hence your 'covenant' with God.
Otherwise, I see absolutely NO REASON whatsoever for such a 'promise'.
There is a difference btw social drinking and heavy drinking.
The reason religion can be a disaster for people like you who cannot set REASONABLE boundaries and limits within human expectations.

Now, you carry an UNHEALTHY burden of GUILT in your mind.
Do you have a problem moving on?
Your mental health may be affected as well as others around you if you do not strike a healthy balance between your needs and your wants.

I don't see how a bottle or can of beer can be God's business unless you are an alcoholic(as in DRUG ADDICT)! Then you really need both divine and supernatural interventions to recover.
If that were the case, you need to go back to your 12-step program and start all over.
This has absolutely nothing to do with GOD or RELIGION.
All about personal choices and self-accountability.
Goodluck, whatever the case!

Hope you don't feel guilty with the 'communion wine' every Sunday!

Cheerio!

I don't patronize such 'romantic' adventures for traders.
Not my concern.
I have NEVER seen the inside of a luxurious bus. . .not to mention travel at night to ANY part of Nigeria.
Not that indigent!
Thank you lord!
Now, this is what I call 'bushmeat' transportation.
Ta!

Who wants to be fin-ger-erd inside a night bus by a local trader for crying our loud?cry

Both countries should deport all citizens from their countries.
They really do not need to be visiting each other's countries for real.
Nothing to offer each other!
Politics › Re: Do You Think That Nigeria Would Ever Get Better by Callotti: 8:40am On Mar 26, 2012

Late DIG Haruna’s Mum Dies of Shock
March 25, 2012 · 1 Comment · By Abiodun Badejo
11 days after a Deputy Inspector-General of Police [DIG], Haruna died in a helicopter crash in Jos, his mother, Mrs. Silany John died yesterday of shock after she was told about her son’s death.Haruna died 12 days after he was promoted to the position of acting Inspector-General (IG).

Already, the relatives have fixed Saturday, March 31, for his burial but his mother died Saturday morning, March 24. She was 82years old.

Sympathizers have been trooping the residence to commiserate with the family since the police DIG passed on. But more sympathizers have besieged the family compound following the sudden death of Haruna’s mother.

It was gathered that Haruna’s aged father has been taken away from the house, and is unaware of his wife’s death.

“He has not even been told of his wife’s demise for fear of a third tragedy”, a family member disclosed.

When asked about funeral arrangements for the two bodies, Late Haruna’s younger brother, Yusuf said the family is perplexed and mystified.

“Mama had not been herself since Haruna died.

“Yesterday (Saturday) morning she gave up the ghost.

“We don’t know what to do now.

“Everybody [in the family] is confused”, a grief-stricken Yusuf managed to say.

Hallelujah! grin

I gotta give it to the Nigerian pilots and aviation staff on board. . . I have never had any reason to complain about them. Always very polite and professional. I don't care for the ground staff though. TOUTISH AND EXTORTIONIST!

The only main concern is the CONDITION OF THE AIRCRAFTS AND AIRPORTS. For that reason alone. . .flying Nigerian airlines internationally is TOTALLY OUT OF THE QUESTION!!!!
