Pope Francis has declared that the death penalty is wrong in all cases, a definitive change in church teaching that is likely to challenge faithful Catholic politicians, judges and officials in the United States and other countries who have argued that their church was not entirely opposed to capital punishment. Francis added the change to the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church, the book of doctrine which is taught to Catholic children worldwide and studied by adults in a church with 1.2 billion members. Francis said executions are unacceptable in all cases because they are “an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person,” the Vatican announced on Thursday. The church also says it will work “with determination” for the abolition of capital punishment worldwide. Francis’ decision is likely to put many American Catholic politicians in a difficult position, especially Catholic governors, like Greg Abbott of Texas and Pete Ricketts of Nebraska, who have presided over executions. The move could also set off a backlash among American Catholic traditionalists who have already cast Francis as being dangerously inclined to change or compromise church teaching on other issues, like permitting communion for Catholics who have divorced and remarried without getting a church annulment. What has it changed from? The text of the catechism was first set by Pope John Paul II in October 1992, and earlier stated that the death penalty was “an appropriate response to the gravity of certain crimes and an acceptable, albeit extreme, means of safeguarding the common good”. However, the new text says there is “an increasing awareness that the dignity of the person is not lost even after the commission of very serious crimes”. It also argues that today’s more effective detention methods protect citizens and “do not definitively deprive the guilty of the possibility of redemption”.

R. Kelly released a new, 19-minute song “I Admit It” on Sunday night in which he addresses the sexual abuse allegations made against him, as well as a number of other controversial topics. In the song, titled “I Admit,” Kelly says, “Said I’m abusing these women, what the Bleep that’s some absurd shit, They’re brainwashed, really? Kidnapped, really? Can’t eat, really? Real talk, that shit sound silly.” He goes on to say, “And if you really, really wanna know, Her father dropped her off at my show, And told this boy to put her on stage, I admit that she was over age, I admit that I was feelin’ her and I admit that she was feelin’ me, I admit that that’s the shit that comes with being a celebrity, I ain’t chasing these ladies, no, These ladies are chasing me, yeah, Now I’m only saying all this shit, ’cause how they tryna play me, yeah. I admit that this is no disrespect to the parents, But this is my advice to you ’cause I’m also a parent, Don’t push your daughter in my face, and tell me that it’s okay, ‘Cause your agenda is to get paid, and get mad when it don’t go your way.” LISTEN HERE: http://fullgist24.com/2018/07/r-kelly-just-released-19-min-song-titled-i-admit-it.html

Isaac Fayose, brother to the outgoing Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has urged people of the state not watch and allow the governor to die. He made the appeal while alleging that over 1,000 security operatives have blocked the state’s Government House while holding Fayose hostage. He also alleged that all mobile lines of the governor have been blocked by the Federal Government. In a Facebook post, Isaac claimed that the security operatives were out to kill Fayose. He wrote: “As we speak, all the mobile lines of His Excellency, Ayodele Peter Fayose have been blocked, and 1,000 security officials blocking the Government House in Ekiti State. “Nobody can leave the Government house as we speak! We are all being held hostages in the Government House. We fear our lives, and the life of the Governor because they want to kill him! “All the Television Stations and Radio Stations in Ekiti State have been shut down! “Please help us to share this message to people that can help us. We are all in danger! Please don’t let Gov. Fayose die.”

As the intrigue from Saturday’s Ekiti governorship elections is still unfolding, there have surfaced photos showing voters who are displaying their voting choices to party agents, presumably so the agents can pay them after they’ve voted. This has confirmed so many reports that there was vote buying in the just concluded Ekiti elction. This is a pic from Saturday’s election in Ekiti and the voter displaying his voting choice – presumably to a party agent. With Secret Ballot, you’ll have a translucent Polling Booth where it’ll be impossible to buy votes. If the agents don’t SEE it, they won’t BUY it.

The referee in charge of England vs. Croatia kept his cards in his pocket for the most part. Cuneyt Cakir only reached for his yellow card on three occasions over the 120 minutes in Wednesday's World Cup semi-final but two of those bookings have prompted waves of confusion and anger from England supporters. On either side of a Kyle Walker booking, it appeared at first glance that the referee flashed a yellow card in the direction of Croatia winger, Ante Rebic. Fifa regulations mean we can't show you the footage but, in the 48th minute, Rebic caught Walker with a flailing arm as the pair competed in the air for a high ball. The official immediately reached for his pocket after the incident and entered a name into his notebook. Then, in the 96th minute, Cakir showed a yellow to Rebic for a sliding tackle on Danny Rose. Even the ITV commentators were initially confused as they remarked in extra time: "It's a yellow card for Rebic. I thought he'd got one at the start of the second half but now it's confirmed he didn't." Supporters have been fuming as they believe that Croatia should have been reduced to 10 men before their dramatic late winner. The official explanation for the mix-up is that Rebic was not the player who was booked following the foul on Walker in the 48th minute. Instead, it's claimed that the referee actually gave a yellow card to Mario Mandzukic for his furious reaction to the free-kick being given to England. While the ITV footage made it look like the first yellow was flashed at Rebic, the below photograph appears to confirm that Cakir was looking past Rebic and instead was pointing at Mandzukic. So that's that cleared up!

So a whole lot of us have heard about cryptocurrencies, but are so confused about what it is and how it works. But that’s not what we are here to talk about today. I am here to talk about a new way to earn your own cryptocurrency by doing what you’re already doing. This new way is just by using the app Qun Qun. What Is Qun Qun? Qun Qun is a social media app where you can socialize with people of like minds. It’s like Facebook. Twitter, etc bundled into one. In Qun Qun you can post about stuff either in plain texts, pictures or video, and people will have the opportunity to either ‘like’, ‘comment’ or ‘re-post’ your various posts. Now, this is the interesting part, with every post, comment, like or re-post you make on Qun Qun you earn a token called ‘Qun’ which is a cryptocurrency based on the Ethereum blockchain. How To Register On Qun Qun: To register on Qun Qun is very simple: Go to their website HERE and click on the download button to download the app. After that, open the app and you’ll see a screen asking you to ‘input your phone number’. If you’re from China, simply input your phone number in the international format. If you are not from China. click on the area written ‘CA+86’, this will prompt a drop-down list with all countries listed. Though everything seems to be written in Chinese, just click on your country alphabet on the right and it’ll show your country’s dialing code, then click on that. Next, a screen asking for a verification code will pop up, just enter the code sent to the phone number you entered. At this point, you’ll probably be very confused as to what next to do because everything is written in Chinese, just relax coz I am here to help you navigate through this. Get Your Referral (5% Of Everything The Referral Earn ![]() You are on the home screen of the app, and you’ll see 5 icons at the bottom of the screen. Click on the one farthest to your right. On the next screen that appears, input NK7MMK as the referral so you can also get your referral code. You can click on ‘invite friends‘ from this screen to invite friends to join Qun Qun and you’ll earn 5% of their tokens. Join Communities: The very next thing to do is to join some communities because without joining communities you won’t be able to do post anything. I’ll recommend joining the community ‘ EntertainmentArena‘ as it is the most active English speaking community. This is how to join a community: Click on the on the 3rd icon on the bottom of the screen On the next screen, simply click on the search area on the top and search for ‘EntertainmentArena’. That’s it, you’re now in the most active English community in Qun Qun. You can also search for other communities and join them. Start posting: Now that you’ve joined a community, all you have to do is to post in the community. Now, when people like and comment on your on your posts, you’ll get some FREE Qun tokens which you can sell later. Also, you get Qun Token when you like and comment on other people’s posts. There you have it, this is the basics of what you can do with the Qun Qun app. If there’s anything not covered by this app or you have any questions to ask, please do so using the comments box below. Preinstalled malware is probably not something you signed up for when you decided to purchase an affordable Android device. However, it appears this is a real problem in a few developing markets, where built-in malware harms users even before they’re able to do anything about it. What’s even more worrying is that some of these users are first-time smartphone owners. In fact, some of them are first time-time internet users. That means they’re even less equipped to understand and handle malware than tech-savvy users who still might fall for malware scams despite their experience. The news comes from Upstream, a company that deals in security, including online transaction fraud and data depletion. Upstream says that a number of cheap Android phones that are sold in markets including Brazil, Egypt, Myanmar, and South Africa contain malware that can steal user data and even money. The phones are preloaded with “ad fraud malware,” according to Upstream CEO Guy Krief. A malicious app like this “communicates with, and sends unauthorized personal user data to a server in Asia, depletes their data allowance and signs them up to premium subscription services without their consent.” The user might not even realize what happened, which is even more troubling. And the user is ultimately the one who pays the price, either by having his or her data allowance depleted faster than normal use or by having app purchases charged to their accounts. Data is a lot more expensive in developing markets, with the report saying that in Brazil a person needs to work an average of six hours to pay off 1GB of data. Furthermore, most people are on prepaid plans, and app purchases might be charged against their prepaid balance. Krief explains: This malware is targeting consumers who are often getting online for the first time via their mobile device and have no other way to access the internet. In emerging markets, where online clicks can trigger a purchase and charges to airtime credit, such online advertising fraud directly impacts the end consumer. These users are immediately falling victim to fraudulent activity, which is using their mobile data allowance and taking money from their airtime credit. In one month, we observed over 1.3 million fraudulent attempts to purchase a single digital premium service in Brazil alone, the first of the markets where we identified this issue in. A similar pattern was identified by our Secure-D platform in other emerging markets, like Myanmar, Egypt, and South Africa.Upstream says its Secure-D product can protect mobile operators and subscribers against this types of malware and other threats. The firm’s comprehensive research is available at this link. It’s unclear which devices come with malware preinstalled, but The Wall Street Journal does name one phone, China-made Singtech P10. Furthermore, it identified GMobi as the advertising firm in Taiwan that is gathering user data from the devices sold in these emerging markets. Apps from the same company may try to sign up users for paid services including mobile games. And GMobi software is preinstalled on devices made by a dozen Android makers including well-known brands like Huawei, Xiaomi, and Blu. Huawei and Xiaomi said they never worked with the ad agency, while Blu only had “exploratory discussions.” MoMagic might be one other ad company tracking users in markets including India and Bangladesh, but the company told The Journal it’s doing it in accordance with local laws. MoMagic lists several Android device makers as partners, including Xiaomi, Micromax, Intex, Panasonic, and Sony.
