Hello guys,I tried to renew my visa via Dropbox but I was asked to schedule an appointment.The earliest date I got is 3 days to my EDD,I have changed my mind about traveling due to this. My worry is ,what if I have the baby before the interview date what are my chances of getting the visa?I really don’t want to be denied
P.S I have had 3 previous visas,never overstayed,never had any medical treatment in the US.

when is your EDD?. You can try and keep refreshing page to see if you can get an earlier date. you can also check Abuja since there dates aint as far gone as Lagos. Don't give up yet. last last, try Canada if you have little time and don't mind. all the best.

you can wait since its strictly birthing trip you are applying for. Am not sure which is better but I THINK people prefer paper route. so many has been mentioned here. It will depend on where your host is or which city you intend to stay in, then you can check out the hospitals in that city.

I just commenced the Canada visa for me and my wife as tourism visitors - online application. Please I will need a lil clarification from this great family on two items:

1. Business Registration.
Is it saying I should upload my business company registration details? I am an employee. Someone should kindly help a brother.

2. Purpose of Travel
They require that I upload documents showing that I will return. I have not booked hotel yet or flight. Please how do I go about it? Does anyone here do such reservations for visa purposes? Please I need your service and advice.

Since its mandatory and you will not be able to proceed without uploading a file there. I THINK you can upload your job details like your employment letter and any letter from your office.
For Purpose of travel, write out your purpose of travel and write out details of what you will be doing or places you will be visiting during your stay. If you can get a reservation from a travel agency, fine. You should also make a hotel reservation.

No updated info on this. let me go to their embassy and get first hand info. am coming

@Candybright, No, and I'm actually looking elsewhere right now. If you're still in Nigeria and not yet far gone, I would suggest you give a try with Dr Ayodele. Not guaranteed but you can be lucky. I said this because we were able to book an appointment(cash paying client) through his receptionist when we called back in Nigeria although we won't be using him because he doesn't handle CS for now. This was the conclusion at the appointment. So like I said, put a call through to his office(905-451-9486) and you might get lucky.

thanks a lot for the info. not handling CS is not nice cos what if vaginal birth didnt progress, what happens the?. its better to be safe with a doctor that does both. thanks again for the update. will still keep track to know which doctor you settled for since you are there already.

No, we did not declare childbirth during our application. This is because we only just found out about the good news(pregnancy) after submitting our application. So we were a little bit worried too about POE but God took control.

As for Doctor & Hospital in Brampton, we're still looking and intend to make some more contacts this week. This is where we have free accommodation, hence why we're sticking to Brampton.

Anyone with valuable information about Doctor and Hospital in Brampton with fair costs should please help. EDD is early July.

Searching for admission against fall by this time? No! It's late. I want to believe you're heading for a masters program. All masters degree/PGD/PGC applications against fall must be closed by now. Kindly apply for an admission for the winter.

am still searching. I noticed some schools will refer one back to their Nigeria rep who will now tell you admission is closed when its showing open on the website.

UPDATE.

So we(hubby & wife) entered Canada yesterday. POE experience was smooth. Automated machine didn't work well for us so we proceeded to the Immigration officer's counter and told him the machine didn't work for us. He said its ok and asked us a few questions like;
Why are we here in Canada? Vacation and Childbirth
When are you due? July.
Have you made arrangements with an hospital? Yes
Any meat products? No
Tobacco? Yes a few packs.
How long will you be staying in Canada for? 2months plus.
Now we're at our host's at Brampton. Thank God for everything.

Wow, this Canada must become flexible like US in terms of childbirth. Very soon, we will conquer doctor acceptance hurdle and everything will become smooth. Pls I will like to know which doctor accepted you in Brampton. Anyone needing accommodation in Brampton can holla.

I will advise that you reject the ITA immediately, especially if your points without including the said employer is enough to guarantee another ITA.
Yes, they use both the info from your EE application and e-APR, so you do not want any inconsistencies. I recall that GlitteringStar posted sometime ago that she learned via GCMS notes that the VO noted consistency between EE and e-APR information, so that means they clearly check!
Please note that regardless of the implications for your CRS points, you are required to supply evidence of every employment for which you were awarded points under work experience. So, while declining the ITA might be painful, it is likely the foolproof way of staying safe.
Hopefully, others can also offer some advice in case I missed something.

I guess they increased cos we Nigerians just like to copy and paste. They must have noticed the influx of Nigerians to their hospital for same reason.

People, let's check out other options, it's not only oakbend and Houston west hospitals that are in Texas. We should also explore other states. Just my opinion though.

True. I bet there may be cheaper hospitals than Oakbend. But pple are waiting for someone to discover first so we can follow
