Globc: Thank you for your feedback @Hotstepper
Please, which location do you best advice, in terms of securing a doctor and accommodation ASAP. Please, can you make any recommendation?
Can I still get a Doctor who will be ready to take me at this time?
I am at loss on the next action to take, I am a newbie on nairaland.
Can you help to guide? Can I send you an inbox message instead? No need wasting time on this, give it a shot, start your application. Your husband having a visa may help so I will suggest he's the main applicant and you the dependant. You still have up to 5weeks and many applications are done within 4weeks to 6weeks. Yes you should stilll get a doctor in Toronto. LUCK. |

placebo: Good evening house and happy new week! Please I have a question. Do I need a passport with minimum of 6 months validity to apply for visiting visa or can I apply with a passport that has about 5 months validity. The visit period is wishing the validity date?
P.s. the passport is for a relative. Standard is 6months minimum. Passport renewal can be done in a day. Why not renew it |

Oleayo22: If you are already in Canada, ask your host to help you. The guarantor that did my baby's passport didn't even know me. They took my docs to her place that's all. She attends the same church as my host. In an instance the embassy called the guarantor and ask personal questions about you. So I will suggest you give the person some info about yourself. |

fruitfulie: Having applied in the last week of in December 2018, I did my bio-metrics first week January 2019. i followed the advise given here by mentioning that i would be having my baby while on visit to my brother. The response to application came yesterday and I was denied. It was specifically mentioned that my coming to have baby was the reason for denial.
This is not to say anyone should lie about their intentions, I am just giving feedback..................
I hereby pray for as many that are awaiting decisions, that the results shall favor you all.
e seun o. Awww, so sorry about your refusal. I think sometimes, it depends on who's accessing your visa. |

Why all these long epistles about agent this agent that? Can we just leave agents and move forward? Did anyone force any ADULT to use an agent? People will still use agents till infinity, even if we all talk from now till thy kingdom come. it's their choice, and if they encounter any hurdle along the line, they should cross it. I like the way this thread is moving forward now, thanks to all contributors |

gingalady: Are you the main applicant? If yes then review your qautionnaire and say yes baby is accompanying you. When you enter DOB they will see it. I applied like this too and listed my daughter as accompanying me. We were just approved With this, does it mean one won't have to fill another form for baby? Or other applicants? |

5.Any advice for me plz, from previous mums who has birthed their kids over there
6.wouldnt mind getting doctor's contact or hospital details that charge aBout 1500-2k per night
7.also ,is my child going to be entitled to free healthcare as soon as he is born?
8.What are the requirements for giving birth, generally, what results should I hold from Nigeria to reduce expenses over there
9.would appreciate any advice for port of entry as well
Thanks in advance[/quote]you can't get ticket for 400-450k in first week of September cos that's return time for school children and ticket in first and second week are really high. you can get somthing slightly above your budget for 3rd week and for October, you can get ticket below 400k (Egypt air) so you can chill till last week September or October since you are not far gone yet. for doctors in Toronto, check the ones mentioned here already, Brampton, Humber River etc. also note that you need a Schengen visa if you are stopping twice in any European city. |

Aibisoye0: Hello House,
Please house can I notorize at the embassy same day wife is to deliver? Eg wife to deliver 1am Nigerian time and I notorize 10am Nigerian time. Is there any implication? Has anyone done this before?
Thanks you you have to book appointment to enable you go to the embassy and sign the form. so you may not likely get a date for the next day as expected. count wife's EDD and schedule few days after. |
