NGpatriot: So, after playing video and cross examining ENDSARS lawyers, it came clear that the military did not shoot any protester and not 1 protester died because of military presence and operation at the Lekki toll gate.
ENDSARS lawyers were confronted with facts and video.
At the end of the day, the truth came out and they all made up, reconciled, shook hands and posed for pictures.
Crooked and corrupt ENDSARS sponsors, evil actores, fake news peddlers, ipobs and anti Nigerian elements all FAILED woefully.
God Bless Nigeria.

ethicallyright: Kudos to the Yoruba people for preserving their culture , heritage and identity.
The Yoruba people are really a special tribe in Africa. People from other places envy them because those people fail to understand history. A little sojourn in the realm of history reveals that democracy was not alien to the Yorubas. The old Oyo empire had checks and balances which included an impeachment procedure of the Alaafin of Oyo . The legislature was not a rubber one like we have always had in modern Nigeria. A parrot head in a calabash was enough to send a dictatorial Alaafin on a suicide mission.
It was with this commendable democratic principle of inclusion and liberalism that Asiwaju , the Jagaban of Planet Earth, built the city housing the most billionaires in Sub-saharan Africa . A city open to visitors than nowhere else in Nigeria even though these visitors do not wish the Yoruba people well. If you doubt my assertion check the names of the "purported" Lekki massacre victims and you will find more visitors than natives.
Victims of the alleged Shite massacre bore names rampant in Northern Nigeria, Victims of Awkuzu SARS genocide bore names rampant in South Eastern Nigeria. Even if you argue that it is a Nigerian thing or not a modern 2020 thing, I'll remind you of the Iranian missile air defence crises in January ,2020, which happened in Iranian airspace and not even on ground and it had 95% Iranian casualties. That there are less Yoruba victims in an alleged military activity that happened in their soil (even in the hearsay CNN report) is the eighth wonder of the world. Tribalism. Hope you do not complain of racism |

valirex: Those who arrested and sentenced Isaac Adaka Boro to death for declaring Niger Delta Republic were neither Hausa-Fulanis nor Yorubas but two supposed brothers of his and Biafrans named Odumegwu Ojukwu and Aguiyi Ironsi who were still on the side of Gambaris and still trying to please them as at then. For declaring Niger-Delta Republic Ironsi, the then military head of state, ordered Ojukwu to get Isaac Boro arrested for treason. Ojukwu, in an attempt to please Gambaris, fought Isaac Boro for 14 days within which he used federal might of “one-Nigeria” to kill 150 soldiers loyal to Isaac Boro, caught Isaac Boro, stripped him naked and sent him over to Lagos where Ironsi charged him to court and within just 2 months got him convicted, at the Supreme Court, of treasonable felony of trying to break away from Azikiwe’s one Nigeria, got him sentenced to death by hanging. While Ironsi and Ojukwu did all that to Isaac Boro, they left untouched their own Igbo brother soldiers who planned a coup with which they killed Innocent Hausas, Yorubas, Niger Deltans, Middle belters leaving Igbo politicians unharmed despite they, like Zik and Okpara, were part and parcel of the corrupt Balewa government. However, before Ojukwu and Ironsi could execute their sentence on Isaac Boro God intervened and the counter coup happened. Ironsi was overthrown and killed. Gowon took over declared Isaac Boro innocent and released him. But just fifteen months later Ojukwu too declared Biafra Republic due to the way Igbos were being killed in the North. In declaring Biafra, rather than first apologise to Isaac Boro for what he earlier did to him and then ask for his cooperation in fighting to realize the Biafra dream, Ojukwu did nothing like that but without consulting Boro at all went as far as arrogantly including in his Biafra map the very Niger Delta areas which Isaac Boro earlier tried to pull out of Nigeria and which he (Ojukwu) nearly killed him for. This angered Isaac Boro and Ken Saro Wiwa who both pledged support for Gowon in order to teach Ojukwu a bitter lesson for his arrogance and dishonesty. That was why Isaac Boro and Saro Wiwa fought on the side of Gowon during the war. Naturally Isaac Boro couldn’t have come out of prison to join the Ojukwu who jailed him and fight against the Gowon who released him. It would have been absurd. No rational human being does that. This is the truth of what happened and which Igbos hate to hear but prefer to blame everyone else as if they themselves were 100℅ innocent. Igbos must learn to say the truth because if the Biafra/Niger Delta Republic they now seek is founded on lies and deliberate falsehood, like Nigeria, it will not stand but will soon become a failed state like Nigeria. We can’t leave Nigeria for another Nigeria. But we however know that Igbos allergy to truth is incurable, therefore Niger-Delta states will never be part of Biafra. Boro and Wiwa lacked vision and ideology. They could have declared niger delta republic moment biafra was declared. Fighting wars in 2 fronts would have been difficult for fgn. |

TheGiftedOne: There are indication s residents of Benin City, Edo State capital, may soon heave a sigh of relief as leaders of the warring cult groups met in the city on Monday morning and agreed to end the two-week-long killings.
The cult leaders, popularly known as Head of Homes, according to Tribune Online resolved to put a stop to the killings because the situation was becoming embarrassing even to them as leaders. The decision for the truce came after over 38 young men were killed as two rival cult groups, Eiye and Aye, engaged in a bloody supremacy battle, with a third group, Vikings, joining the fray on Friday to compound the bloodletting.
It was gathered that the various leaders agreed to meet Sunday night, following the intervention by one of their patrons, whom, the leaders hold in high esteem, their cult lineage notwithstanding
At the peace meeting held in one of the hotels in the highbrow Benin GRA, it was agreed that the warring cultists would sheath their swords, just as a robust compensation plan was mapped out to take care of the losses suffered by one of the leaders, whose attack led to the mindless killings in the first instance. The peace accord, Tribune Online further gathered, was responsible for why in the last 24 hours, there has been no single case of cult-related killing in the state capital.
Part of the agreement, a source volunteered, was the resolve by the Heads of Homes to collectively deal with any recalcitrant member who might want to act contrary to the peace accord.
The meeting started on Monday and it was concluded yesterday morning (Tuesday). All the heads of the various groups met because the killings have become embarrassing to all. But they all concluded the meeting yesterday morning and have agreed to stop the killings and that all heads should call their boys to order and anybody found in the fight and killing again, all the groups will jointly deal with that person,” the source which pleaded anonymity disclosed.
According to him, “they also agreed to compensate that person that had a clash that escalated into the bloody clash. If you notice, there has not been any killings in the past 24 hours and now that this meeting has been held, the killings will stop.”
But as the cult rivalry killings stopped, cases of robberies appeared to have taken over as residents of Lucky Way, Upper Mission extension and adjoining streets in Benin city were on Monday night, subjected to the agony of armed robberies all through the night.
The same was reported at Akhionbare area of Benin GRA where robbers operated with reckless abandon.
The robbers at Lucky Way, it was gathered, first raided most of the shops in the locality, before they embarked on a house-to-house raid at Imade Street where they reportedly snatched a car from its owner which they later used in other armed robbery operations.
Daring in their operations, the suspected armed robbers later advanced to Omoruyi Street, near Zico Gas plant on Upper Mission Extension and allegedly snatched a Mercedes Benz 180 car said to belong to one Engineer Joachin Isibor Osaruese.
They later drove towards Benin -Auchi road with all the snatched cars for the evening. Residents locked themselves up in their various houses with the fear that the armed robbers might return to the area.
