Politics › Re: #endsarsprotest: Why The Parents Of Victims Have Not Lodged Complaint. by capitalzero: 7:09pm On Nov 19, 2020
Realday:
Lagos state is a mega city and one of the most populated state in Nigeria at large. Lagos almost turned to lawless state when the peaceful protesters were mistreated. Both Government and military are trying to put it under the carpet, even it's not exclude the political bigots, they're not left behind in this case. They tend to be philosophers, challenging the conscious Nigerians, whereas we all know the truth but they don't want accept the fact that they're at fault. To defend their heartless claims, they're saying that no parent has lodge complaint.

In my own perspective, I'll try to explain why the parents of the victims have not showed up or lodge complaints of missing. I've two reasons for now and I don't know how tangible the two reasons are;
Firstly, with the fact that Lagos "is for all"(am sorry tribalists, e jo nitori olohun), with the fact that Lagos is one of the best economic states in Nigeria, many Nigerians from north down to the south are there hustling and bustling. With that fact, most of the peaceful protesters are not indigenous citizen of the state. Some of the protesters left their hometown to hustle in the state, some were there just because celebrities were there, and some were there because of "menu menu". And their parents are far away from them, they only go to their hometown during any festival, so how will they know that something has happened to their beloved one? The victims parents are not all living in Lagos! Let wait till December 25 to January 1,we go no what's up!
Secondly, some parents of the victims that are residing in Lagos or aware of the situation are under pressure, either they're threatening them, we all know the country we are! Some parents might have collected bribe from the plotters, how will they lodge complaints?

They should stop fooling us, their children and grandchildren will surely pay for it!

Anybody involved in that killing will never know peace, including the paid miscreants defending such acts here. I shudder when I read stupid comments, asking for the relatives to come forward and other stupid stuff in support of that barbaric act.

Education › Re: ASUU Strike: UTAS Doesn't Have Hardware Backing. – Ngige by capitalzero: 8:13am On Nov 18, 2020
Reasons why ASUU do not want Ippis.
Many lecturers especially senior ones are using falsified age. They do not want bvn to be linked with ippis. If ippis is implemented, many lecturers will voluntarily resign their appointments.

Some lecturers are working in more than 2 universities. Nuc allows lecturers to work full time in a university and part time in another university. With ippis linked bvn, lecturers earning multiple salaries can be tracked.

Excess workload allowance is illegal in most cases. There are rules governing excess workload for lecturers and non-teaching staff. It is not all lecturers that should benefit from it. If governments stop this allowance , most academic vacancies will be advertised.

MossadAgent:
The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual meeting at the end of January in Davos, Switzerland, brings together international business and political leaders, economists and other high-profile individuals to discuss global issues.

Driven by the vision of its influential CEO Klaus Schwab, like(a Jew), the WEF is the main driving force for the dystopian ‘great reset’, a tectonic shift that intends to change how we live, work and interact with each other.

Note : The WEF is not an agency or Commision of the UN but rather a non profit NGO which "advices" world govts and policy makers.
The WEF's highest donor for the past 3ys straight is the Bill Gates Trust.

The great reset entails a transformation of society resulting in permanent restrictions on fundamental liberties and mass surveillance as entire sectors are sacrificed to boost the monopoly and hegemony of pharmaceuticals corporations, high-tech/big data giants, Amazon, Google, major global chains, the digital payments sector, biotech concerns, etc.

This model is already enforce in China under the draconian Social credit system which Mr Bill Gates owns the western patent.

Using COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions to push through this transformation, the great reset is being rolled out under the guise of a ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution’ in which older enterprises are to be driven to bankruptcy or absorbed into monopolies, effectively shutting down huge sections of the pre-COVID economy. Economies are being ‘restructured’ and many jobs will be carried out by AI-driven machines.

In short we are seeing a Soviet styled economic model about to be rolled out where neo-liberal global cooperations like Amazon doninate all trade at the expense of your street corner vendor.
This is to achieve one aim-global peace and security .

donpata:
Well let me educate u a bit. The main reason for the strike is revitalization of universities and payment of earned allowances. FG brought in IPPIS as a distraction. Now...
1. On revitalization, my friend works in Kaduna State University and the last time an agreement was reached on Eared Allowance, the FG urged the state govts to try and implement it as well. You may wish to know that my friend has been earning that cos the state govt implemented it.

2. On proliferation of state universities, it badly affects the state unis cos like Kaduna University, abt 90% of the structures are built by FG either through CBN, TETFUND, NEEDS ASSESSMENT etc. The govt does virtually nothing but payment of salaries. Yet, you still see them building more. I think Kano already has 2 state unis and is planning on building another. Kogi can't pay salaries but it wants to add another uni. The unis will soon turn to secondary schools and it's likely gonna emanate from the state unis, rubbing off on the Federal unis. Thus, using the govt forum, FG can discourage that.

3. Revitalization fund are not just for the FG unis. I stated the example of KASU. After the last strike, govt released money and KASU got about 200 million. I think Plateau state uni got about 130million or thereabouts. So if ur branch no join strike and ASUU suspends it, maybe una allocation fit get K leg since the FG will involve them in the sharing formula.

4. For the general funding of unis, don't forget state govts have been working hard to see that some allocation to certain sectors are cut while certain taxes are implemented so that the FG will have more money to send as monthly allocations to the states. Now it means that if FG will have money for universities, certainly, State govs, who are part of the Federal Executive Council, are very key stakeholders in the decision process.

Last last though, it's the kind of shambolic federal system we are practicing that allows this. This feeding bottle federalism that everyone heads to the center for everything is wack. I men look at us elections. Counties being responsible for election process? I can't imagine local govt officials handling elections. See how messed up state handled LG elections are. Nigeria na zoo
1. Funds will never be enough. No sector is properly funded. Politicians and military get most of the allocations . Health sector is not properly funded. Even health workers do not engage in prolonged strike like ASUU.
2. States should stop joining nationwide strike. Usually, unions in states go on strike to press home their specific demands.
3. University dons should manage resources well. Proliferation of courses or programmes or departments in university is bad idea.
4. Govt should stop earn allowances for all category of staff. There are rules governing this allowance but lecturers have abused it.
5.Reasons for the strike . Many lecturers especially senior ones are using falsified age. They do not want bvn to be linked with ippis. Some lecturers are working in more than 2 universities. Nuc allows lecturers to work full time in a university and part time in another university.
Excess workload allowance is illegal in most cases. There are rules governing excess workload for lecturers and non-teaching staff. It is not all lecturers that should benefit from it. If governments stop this allowance , most academic vacancies will be advertised.

Maybe it escaped your eyes, but sometimes in early February when USA was just registering its first coronavirus case, a Nairalnder made a comment that Trump will lose reelection because of Coronavirus.

I dismissed it then because I thought America might not be as hard hit as it presently is but I guess I was wrong.

There are many secret agents here on this forum who are privy to so many classified information and I'm sure that guy was aware of something we didn't know.

Again, I'm of the view that Pfizer deliberately delayed announcement of their vaccine to make sure Trump loses. Or why did they make the announcement just barely one week after the elections.

The forces against Trump prepared for him long ago. And these guys are not just after Trump, they are after something more.
Why trump lost election?
1. Poor handling of covidCOVID-19
2. George flyod protest- he was reckless in handling the protests
3. Democrats and populist agenda
4.Mainstream media
