I said it on this forum 3months ago that INEC will make a mess of the election. You can see even till now, only 40% of result is out. INEC has collected bribe. We must fight and defend our right.

There's is no too late time to correct anyone. If we don't address a wrong when necessary then how should you now expect to get a good leader when us the citizens don't hold them accountable? Electoral college does not exist in Nigeria.

In the US, each state gets electoral college seats equivalent to the number of legislators (house of reps+senators) that the state has (based essentially on population) and whichever candidate wins that state gets the electoral college seats for that state.

Hilary Clinton had more total votes but not as much electoral college seats.

If Nigeria used Electoral college system, then states such as Lagos, Kano, Borno, Rivers, Katsina, Kaduna and Oyo will be must win as each states election will be winners take all. Obi will stand no chance in that scenario. States like Ekiti, Ebonyi and Bayelsa, no one will bother campaigning.

In Nigerian politics, oppositions can go any length to tarnish each other's image. It is also possible that opposition did that to rubbish the LP slogan....."we no dey give shi-shi". There's nothing I've not seen or heard of in Nigeria. So don't rule that out!

The closest wins having meet the requirements. If you remember Trump and Hillary. Hillary got the highest votes but not meet the minimum requirements. Trump met the minimum requirements despite coming second in total vote cast.

INEC should provide the breakdown of this figure.
We need to know how many PVC is collected per:
(1) States,
(2) Local Govt.

Giving us a blank figure of 87millions is of no use.

Whenever I read something like this, I ask myself if you've ever travel out of the four corners of Nigeria to know what is obtainable else where. But when I remember you are a typical Nigerian, I just come to the conclusion that poverty and suffering is all you ever know and as such you don't know what it is to be free. If I have enough money, I would like to sponsor people like you to even "Ghana" so that you can see what damage the old political orders have done to you and your generations unborn.

My only problem with the policy is the timing. I'm very much in support of cashless society. If we survived the registration of NIN, BVN and others, it's better we push this cashless agenda throughout the entire Nigeria. That's my position though!
