If a kid finishes secondary school at 16 and need to wait till 18 before sitting for Jamb, such kid would forget everything learnt in secondary school and the chances of such kid securing adequate cut off mark slims by every single year wasted.
Also, it would be additional cost to the parents to get refresher tutorials for the kid by the time he would be clocking 18, and that's if such kid has not already entered the world.
With the current societal vices (peer pressure and social media), the chances of creating more Olosho's out of girl child will increase if a girl had to wait from 16 to 18years.
The chances of creating more petty thieves, druggie and "rapeast" would also increase in the boy child.
What happens to the saying "catch them young" again?
Saao: Wahala, the father is acting like a child since his son died. I don't really know if the father really love his son and mourn him? How can a man that just lost his son acting this childish? I'm not supporting the girl if she cheated and the boy doesn't belong to Mohbad but the activity of the father must be check and investigated if him is the real father of Mohbad. The wife self is another matter, if you're so sure the baby belong to your husband, why not go ahead to do DNA and allow the innocent guy to rest in peace from all the drama? It's seems that guy Mohbad was alone and he was never mourn by those that ought to love him and mourn him. May his soul rest in peace
It may be the lawyer or court clark that posted the notice. Anyway, that's what service by substitution entails. Whoever posted it only carried out the court decision.
Glimpsetv: The robot collapsed after reportedly working for over 20 hours. This goes to show that robots have their moments too, just like humans. As we see in this video during a demonstration at a supply chain exhibition in Chicago, the robot was working well, and everything else was going smoothly until the robot was seen collapsing. Digit was designed by Agility Robotics to work in warehouses, lifting boxes and performing other tasks.
The moral of this story: everything reacts to stress. Proper maintenance and routine check-ups are necessary to keep anything working effectively.
jikins: Point is try to modify that post. Make the clarification there so new people reading it will not make similar assumption. People have lost jobs because of misconstrued posts on social media. Not very relevant here but you never know the future has endless possibilities Clarify it in that post is the point. You can modify, that way anybody reading it next
OAFMods: Now consider Anambra that is not even paying ₦30,000 minimum wage.
I'm not considering anything. Don't bring me into this tribal discussion of Anambra-Lagos-Katsina.
I don't understand how we develop mentality to be comparing poverty and sufferings.
The society has been polarized by the political elites to the extent that they now use poverty differentials as a weapon against the common man.
We are saying #70,000 is small, yet you are bringing #30,000 into the equation. Am I suppose to gloat that my compatriot somewhere or anywhere in this country is earning that chicken feed as a civil servant and celebrate the one earning #70,000?
I do not understand what and why you want me to compare poverty as if my brother in Kano, Jigawa, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Damaturu, Kafancha, Lokoja etc don't matter to me.
#70,000 and we say make Civil servants no dey corrupt?
Government should stop being the largest employer of labour but instead create enabling environment for investors to create jobs and absorb the workforce.
jikins: Well what you told me and what you said you agreed to are two different things. Thats the point its not rocket science. It doesn't take anything from you to admit that.
You clearly said and I quote "I agree with you". Meaning you agree with him saying Nigerians are lazy because they no longer carry out senseless arson. No where in the post you "agreed" to did the guy mention any good course you are bringing here to safe face.
if you only agreed with him that Nigerians are lazy. You could have easily said I agree with you that Nigerians are lazy but not with Nigerians burning buildings. English is very intuitive, you should learn to use it better in the future. No where in that post did you in anyway clarified this narrative you are trying so hard to push. "I agree with you" means I agree with everything you just said. Dont take my word for it go look it up.
Meaning in that post you agreed with his stance that Nigerians are lazy because they no longer burn down buildings.
Be a man and own up to your shit!
I made the correction and clarification to you in the second post. That's why I said "Now I told you" in the third post. I remember I added I do not support burning down of buildings to it". This was after the first post which you pointed out. My second post on the thread takes care of the first and overrides the first as well which was why I said don't "flog it further". But I think I understand you better now.
MrPOTUS: Naso e b o bros, some women self, na dem go happy give out some of ur dividends like oga wives dey give gatemen
Best persons to invest in (yourself, your kids and ur siblings)
I agree with you. That's why the OP should not bother looking for all that attribute. If you see a babe that has those attributes, just know that someone is responsible for the upkeep.
jikins: Well you supported his statement which is Nigerians are lazy because they didn't burn down the building. Maybe read what you quoted and supported
Well, now I've told you, so don't flog it further. However, what remains a fact is Nigerians are lazy even for any good course. Our former President attested to that!
I'm not referring to burning down of buildings. Nigerians generally are lazy and our Former President was right. I didn't support burning down of buildings Sir/Ma.
jubrilELsudan: IF THIS WERE THE OLD DAYS OF WE 9JA YOUTHS OF THE 80'S AND 90'S NOTHING FOR DEY FOR DEM TO REOPENED CAUSE BY NOW YOUTHS FOR DON BURN DOWN THE WHOLE COMPLEX
BUT UNFORTUNATELY THIS PRESENT DAY 9JA YOUTHS DEY VERY USELESS NA HIM MAKE BUHARI SAY DEM DEY LAZY
I agree with you. Nigerians are getting lazier. Youths would rather do Nairabet or get involved in shady dealings for quick money. They don't want to work anymore.
They could also just be cultist doing their night rituals. I have a neighbour that walks stark naked at night here speaking his juju voice as he pace up and about.
Avedonn: But @CountinBlessins explained everything in details. If you have superior argument just say it instead of attacking him. You faulted his succinct explanation but ended up saying nothing as an expert you claimed to be.
I'm not arguing about using oxygen mask for rescue operations if it's to rescue human being or even a cat. I've done it and I wear SCABA almost every week.
You are lost in the whole point? The safety cost of wearing oxygen mask for the rescue missions outweighs what is to be rescued. That is the point I've painted out to him.
It's unfortunate you didn't see that too.
I simply asked him if he would embark on such a dangerous mission to rescue a mobile phone? I never faulted his argument from a start. You should follow up on our conversation thread before jumping on a topic.
Yes his point were valid to the extent of rescuing human beings, an animal or something of considerable value and importance but certainly not superior point for rescuing a mobile phone.
Just so you know, even wearing a BA set does not mean the risk has been removed. You just controlled the risk.
