Gtb was successful with 91 and 182 days. They said the public holiday caused a delay. I've been debited for my investment. I don't know the rate though.

I prefer Gtb to my other banks because their rate is usually among the highest rates for any bidding and I can invest from the comfort of my home without visiting a branch.

Valid point. It will take another 4 ROI ( some people will lose points in these months for birthday) before a fake profile gets withdrawn too if the ITA isn't declined. Hopefully, their conscience makes them stop or they get tired of creating these profiles.

Demo/Redundant Accounts.
I am 8 months into the PR process (ielts, wes and what not) and had made around 4 demo profiles on ircc to go through the process (ofcource with fake details as shown in many youtube videos) and 2 out of 4 profiles had also recieved ITA's aswell as I had entered maximum score fetching values.
I'm sure many of us have done the same. Most famous "Profile creation for express entry step by step" video has over 1.5 lakh views and if mere 10% of the viewers have tried their hands, it equals15000 redundant profiles.
Surely this may be one of the reason for the crazy 450+ entries into the pool this year. I have already deleted/withdrawn those profiles and hope everyone to do the same. And please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.


@joo2018 @ifeoma77 @Topsmamen and the house, when a profile gets ITA, doesn't reject or accept it and gets withdrawn. Does the profile get removed from the pool or does it remains in the pool.

Please what's used to prove relationship to someone living in Canada? That's for the acceptable relative listed on CIC website (Parents, Siblings etc). I want to explore this option for 15points but need to know what will be required as proof.

I got one of the defined relatives there but na part of the Obiakpo people that cross bridge and will always discourage others from crossing. Make I begin now wet ground on how to get the proof if necessary.

Birth certificates, pictures. Anything that shows you are related to the person

Do you think a CRS of 412 or 417 at the minimum holds some hope? I want to see if there are chances before I take the plunge and start the process. I wouldn't want to waste funds and energy if these scores stands no chance at all. I got the scores using the CRS tool & recommended IETLS scores of L-8, W -7, R- 7, S -7.

Am a newbie and have tried to read all the previous threads. Please share your thoughts as it is. I won't get butt hurt if its negative.

Try simulate your scores with max Ielts and look at your chances with Provincial nominations . Then choose the most option with highest likelihood.

Was once denied American visa after wimning a lottery and the agent decided to merge me with another person and presented you as a couple. Our stories didn't gel so obviously the application was turned down. I'm worried this could affect the present application and also, what possible reason can i give for the visa refusal that I won't come across as being unfaithful?

This is entirely my opinion
You need to first get a divorce letter if you are no longer "married" to the person. Be truthful and write the reason given to you for denial and pray God helps you with it

The above links constitute the body of knowledge about passport submission at VFS. Based on my experience today, I want to provide an update.

Documents remain the same:
a. PPR mail
b. Filled height and colour charts (from the PPR mail)
c. International passport for each person
d. 2 photocopies each of passport
e. 2 photos with CIC specifications
f. Signed VFS consent form (from Vfs Nigeria website)
g. Filled IMM0008 (if there was any change in your family configuration)
i. Cash. N17,790 per person plus N680 per person for sms. You can choose to pay for only one sms.

VFS Ikeja (Canada Visa Application Centre, Lagos Manor Hall, Plot 110, Admiral Ayinla Way, ... Third Roundabout, Lekki Phase I)
1. Show your passport at the entrance and enter.
2. Climb the stairs to the 2nd floor by your right. Enter the Canada application room by your left.
3. Tell the security by the entrance you are for passport submission, he will give you a slip.
4. Sit on the chairs in front of Counters 1 and 2.
5. When your slip is called, meet the attendant and give him/her you documents. He will arrange and put them in a bag.
6. The security will then give you another slip.
7. Go and sit front of Counters 6 and 7. This is the bank section.
8. When you number is called, go and pay.
9. Go and sit front of Counters 8, 9 and 19.
10. When you number is called, go and submit.
12. Collect your receipt with tracking number
13. Go and continue your travel preparations.

If you want to apply for the Manitoba PNP, you can ask on the PNP thread for better info but she can claim points with it. For FSW, you cannot claim points for a cousin. The relative has to be a sibling

What is the implication of a dependant(spouse) adding her work history in the application. This was added pre-ITA and it came up post ITA. Please note that if spouse work history is deleted, then the option on NO work history will be selected.

Why would a dependant add work experience

Work experience is only needed from PA. You have to produce evidence for any work experience you put under work history. Spouse work experience should be placed under personal history, therefore no documents required.

Return to Nigeria, marry your fiancee and apply for spousal visa( or equivalent) for her. Family sponsorship is not available here as she has no ties with you ( courtship is not enough to suffice for family ties ) OR

Marry her in Nigeria, then do the family sponsorship ( takes up to a year for this)

She does her EE process as single, enters Canada and marry. This will require lots of time and money.

IRCC won't send your card to you in naija . You have to arrange for who will collect it from the delivery adress and send it to you.
