The Final Quest by Rick Joyner by Morning star publications? Yes, I've read it, and it is a deeply meaningful revelation of the Christian's spiritual authority, warfare, and need to know Christ intimately. I am really glad you have read it. That means you know the deep message of intimacy with Christ, and love for God and everyone. My greatest takeaway from the book is about love for everyone and extreme reliance on the Lord Jesus Christ - to be in constant union with Him. How about you?

In reply, yes, I love them. They help to anchor my hopes upward, where our real home is. Currently reading one at the moment (about his visit to hell and heaven). The Word of God says we should set our minds on things above, not on things on earth. Many, being tethered to earth by their love for the world, have lost their inner map to eternity with God, while many paying the ultimate price of eternal separation from God. However, I love reading more of heaven experiences than hell experiences. Kat Kerr is one of the names whose books on this subject I love. There are others, too. I would love further discussion on this subject if you are up for it.

As regards the Christian Room thread, you should not be discouraged in posting. If no one replies don't let it die a natural death. Keep posting, if it is in you. Replies will be attracted to your posts.

To the question you asked, the reason they can't be one is that they hardly intimately know Jesus. Jesus does not concern Himself with religion. All He asks is that we give our lives to Him. He is neither for or against any movement or denomination. If all of them can seek to know God personally they will tear down the walls of differences.

There is the temptation to think carrying out specific man-inspired actions towards unification of beliefs may achieve union but that is false hope as far as I can tell. This is why the only place you will find perfect unity of the saints is in heaven because there ALL know Him personally.

To answer your question, they are denominations. Others include Apostolic, Wesleyan, Anglican, Pentecostal, etcetera.... Different belief systems...same God.

May they all be exposed, separated from sincere Christians, and punished according to the law. There will always be wolves in sheep's clothing. It is a tale as old as the world.

So, God has spoken everything there is to be spoken as written in the Bible according to Op? Very sad thinking.

So, how does God let me know I should travel to Denmark or marry Betty Armstrong, or study Oncology? Where do I find the answers in the Bible? Should I throw dice or cast lot?

Minimum wage in the US is $1200 per month, in Canada it is $2000 (USD), in the UK it is £1950 ($2500). Is it a crime for minimum wage in Nigeria to be ₦1,000,000?

why then should government decide that Nigerians should pay for electricity at the same rate Americans pay for electricity when you have agreed that Nigerians cant purchase items in Nigeria at the price that Americans purchase those same items?

It's not about wasting what you can't pay for, it's about getting responsible for what you use daily.
They're Led bulbs as low as 15watt that could be use in every building. Some people have this habit of putting light on everywhere in the house like they're everywhere Everytime.

The tariff should be charged and prepaid meter distributed so people will be well disciplined.

If a person sleeps with another person they are not legally married to it is a sin but when they perform the same acts on their body with the goal of seeking pleasure it is not a sin according to his argument. In both cases, the Word of God says we are no longer out own. We have been bought. As a result, our bodies have become the temple of God. The Bible also says to present our bodies as instruments of righteousness to God as our reasonable sacrifice. He who lives should no longer live to the flesh but by the Spirit put away the deeds of the flesh.

If God had wanted Adam to pleasure himself He wouldn't have bothered to create Eve. In that case, the earth would not have been populated. Those who masturbate dislike sleeping with the opposite sex. It takes away their confidence. They just want to be left alone to seek pleasure from themselves. They become social outcasts by preference.

Masturbation is sin. The devil deceives the doer to think they are not committing any sin as it is their body but that is a FAT LIE because a person only masturbates when they lust after sexual pleasure. Lust is of the devil, not God. It can manifest as lust for power, lust for money, lust for praises, etc.
