Jennyclay:Rest. Please, rest. One more thing, rest. Lastly, rest. |
“What does the South East want in Nigeria? An average South Easterner is not content with Igboland.I never heard greater garbage uttered from the lips of a sanity claiming man than this. |
Mercury12:"No problem, Captain" 👍. |
Mercury12:As opposed to "stale news". Do you have any problem with it? |
ElSudani:I expected this because I did not give more room for explanation of what I said. Nigeria's economy is burdened with challenges that the regular solutions which will adapt fluidly in the economy of other countries who don't have the experience of that we face. Any sane person knows that Nigeria should diversify its source of revenue and agriculture fits the bill but two things make it unable to fly here. First, the menace of herdsmen and kidnappers to farmers Secondly, the current inflation and hardship in the country needing urgent solutions rather than long term solutions Let these be solved first before any meaningful efforts in that direction can be made. |
Tinubu, for the sake of the country stop listening to anything that comes out of the US government as advice. Look at where we are because you followed their advice to collapse the multiple exchange rate into Import and Export window, and remove fuel subsidy. Now, you are thinking of removing electricity subsidy as if the pain you have caused is not enough. |
onuman:That makes the quality of its knowledge to an individual a subjective issue. |
Lilimax:I would never be insensitive to reports relating to tragedy that has befallen someone or people even if it were my worst enemy (no human is my enemy). I am not that kind of person and will never be. I said what I said because I downloaded the video a week ago. It was disturbing to say the least although the video quality wasn't very great. I didn't know the couple but I felt sad in my spirit that the devil was given free rein to end their lives in very despicable manner over a non-issue. |
lagdmark:Depends on when it becomes public knowledge it becomes news even if it happened five years ago. The time it gets to public knowledge makes it either fresh or stale. All I'm saying is I concur. |
Joy2dworldxyz:No problem, amigo. |
This news is not fresh. It happened about two weeks ago. Bloggers will say anything for traffic. |
yewit37486:There was a prophecy given by one I consider a true man of God. In 2023, he said what God showed him would happen under Tinubu administration. I don't need to say everything (it is a nightmare for those who don't know God) but one thing he said that is clearly coming to pass is that the naira will fall to ₦2000/$. The hardship will be unbearably grievous under Tinubu. He said there would be serious hunger in the land that people would resort to cannibalism to survive. Hmm. He said that this would not affect God's children but, my brother, when he gave this prophecy, the naira to the dollar rate was about ₦900/$. Today, there is serious hunger in the land as he said and naira to the dollar rate has hit ₦1,825 to a dollar only ₦175 shy of ₦2000. |
When Cardoso floated the naira recently on February 9, this was my reply in the thread: Your intelligence on the interpretation of this report deserves standing ovation. This is exactly what I highlighted in my previous post here. The dollar is now being auctioned to the highest bidder. That is how auction works. The result: the naira will fall faster and harder than before. I predict ₦4000 to the dollar by June or July this year. The volatility spike of edging towards supply and demand of the naira is fighting it. It is falling faster than ever because it is being sold aggressively to purchase the dollar. |
Where are the lying pastors and church leaders who said Tinubu is God's chosen candidate for the nation? They have all gone silent in shame. Shame. |
Prophecy of Tinubu's failed and doomed administration coming to pass right before our eyes. All in less than a year of manipulating his way to the office of the president. |
Sex and wealth may buy happiness but not peace. Only God has the monopoly of lasting peace that He gives at ₦0.00. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:Wait, I just reread this, the bolded. Hahaha. No comment. 😂😂😂🤣🤣 |
Zxcvbnmghtr:In which textbook or school did you learn that hyperinflation leading to very low per capita income is part of the process that will inevitably lead to a very lasting prosperity? Don't confuse economics with tribalism. |
What an elderly man like Pa Adebanjo (Afenifere's leader) saw while sitting the Yoruba people who voted Tinubu (not all of them voted him) could not see it while standing. Time has proven his wisdom to be sharp as spear. Note: I will never be glad that even my enemy is going through pain much less people of any specific tribe so don't see my statement as rubbing salt on wound. I have only stated the obvious. |
A bag of rice is about to jump to ₦150,000. |
iLegendd:"Things are cheaper" is a subjective perspective on the seemingly endless currency exchange rate crises on ground. I absolutely concur with you on the highlighted. That is the goal to strike a balance amidst the current economic decline and hyper-inflation. |
Someone who survivied Buhari's 8 years of hardship is seeking asylum under Tinubu's 7 months of hardship. This tells you hardship get levels. |
Lexylaw40kuti, did Aisha vote in the current suffering? (I imagine you refer to Aisha Yesufu. If it is not the same person please ignore the question) |
jargonzboi:As a quote currency falls the base currency becomes stronger. USDNGN in this case. If the dollar is cheaper during Tinubu's administration than it was in the previous one then the current administration is under performing. Op, it isn't something to be cheerful since it shows that the country is bleeding profusely. |
All the soldiers who lost their lives fighting this menace, the innocent in their thousands who were brutally sent to their graves by this people only for the government to pardon them and release them back into the society on the basis of an oath that has no legal or punitive substance. What a nation. |
The pastor was led by his lust for her. He did not seek God to know God's opinion about proposing to the lady. Ended in fiasco. |
Is it a crime to allow competition? Are Nigerians not paying their electricity bills? More than 60 years of darkness and scarce power supply with continual hikes in tariff only to blame subsidy. What has subsidy got to do with power generation? |
blacksam01:I read you. They have found a mechanism to stretch Tinubu's administration into three terms. |
I feel for people going through worsened hardship under Tinubu. A president who subjects his people to untold hardship while promising light at the end of the tunnel does not know what it is to be a leader. |
I have been scouting for a topic like this on nairaland that acknowledges the deadly heat wave experienced yesterday and that has continued till today. It was terrible (first of its kind in Nigeria). The epileptic power supply worsens the situation. Yesterday was a sign that global temperatures have risen drastically. |
