If he tries that with the emir of Kano, he won't get past the gates. Ask Tai Solarin. |
Wow... What a "mansion". |
Story story. I won't believe until I see someone go to jail. |
Well done. Proud to be Anambra. |
Step by step. Every dog has its day. |
Basket mouth sef? |
Something to lean on. maybe. |
It's cars now. Back in the old days, it was bicycles that did the toasting. |
Kill kill kill. Thats all we know in Nigeria. Nobody feels the need to practice conservation yet all the zoos in this country are empty. If we keep on destroying the ecosystem and all the reptiles become extinct, what will the future generation see? What a shame. |
God help us. RIP to the dead. |
You need to have that car checked properly before you end up in a money pit. Car-doctor. |

There should be one or two of this model of your car somewhere that is being stripped for parts. Your best bet is to make as much contacts as possible in Lagos, Ibadan, Onitsha etc to see if you can locate one but try gazuz's option first. Car-doctor |
pmkarlmrine:The VVT sensor may as well be the problem if its already showing on the scan. The rule of thumb is to first clear the codes and then put the vehicle through a long drive cycle to see if the check light comes up and via a scan, indicating the same codes. The VVT sensors can actually cause misfiring, poor ignition timing and black smoke followed by higher than normal fuel consumption. All the best. Car-doctor |
With the Avalon, you don't have a 4 cylinder engine option. Avalon's only come in V6's. Obviously more power but less economical on fuel. The Honda, on the other hand, has the 4 cylinder engine option and is a bit more economical on fuel. Both cars are ok. Avalons have more cabin and boot space than the Honda Accord being obviously a larger car. Avoid the R20 engined Honda Accord. The myth regarding the gearbox problems remain implausible as most issues with gearboxes here in Naija are usually related to wrong type of ATF fluid being used and poor technical skills and knowledge by most technicians here. The choice remains yours. Good luck. Car-doctor |
From the pictures shown, these are the normal 2 wheel drives and not 4x4's. 4 wheel drives would be better suited for the purpose. Anyway, half bread is better than none. |
Same pick up trucks that boko haram uses. I no understand. |
Yes, adding a relay to your headlamp may increase the lumens output if everything else is ok i.e your headlamp lens. Just don't allow an inexperienced electrician to do this for you or else your car may end up in flames one day due to careless taping of wires and leaving electrical components dangling loose in the engine bay. I see that all the time. Car-doctor |
Use TOYOTA ATF WS only. Do u know the procedures? |
greatcarz4:Check the rear fog lamps also if the bulbs are in place and in good condition. Quite often we neglect the fog lamp bulbs when checking because we hardly use them here in Naija but the car systems still recognises when its a faulty or blown bulb. Car-doctor |
You need to change the pipe as it obvious that that is where your power steering fluid is leaking from. Getting a new one might be difficult so your best bet is to go to any nearby car breaker and look for a secondhand one that's in good condition. It shouldn't cost more than N2k. Car-doctor |
needful:How can a scan possibly detect a clunking sound? Take your car to a qualified mechanic to examine the car for you. Car-doctor |
A faulty O2 sensor could trigger fuel metering issues and also give a false indication that the catalytic converter may be inefficient. Replace your o2 sensor. Car-doctor |
Really? |
In this case, a water leak into a car could be one of many reasons. Nobody here on this forum could possibly tell you where the leak is coming in from without a proper physical examination of the car. You may end up with suggestions that may point you in the direction of where the problem lies but it may not be conclusive. My best advice would be to take the car to a well experienced panel beater to help you search for the leak. Car-doctor |
DECOtech:Are you sure this prices you quoted are correct? |
OShepherd:How much did parts and labour cost you? |
Hmmmm. I never knew that caterpillar tractors drink fuel. Oga, take the previously listed advice. GET THE CAR SCANNED.!!!!! Car-doctor |
Nice car. Shame that you can't drive cars like this on Nigerian roads. |
