@POSTER, I believe this is fiction BUT in real life, there is no way your would-be sister in-law will be that bold to 'tempt' you if she does not already know your level of morality. |
@Sara j It is good enough that your father who is supposedly a Nigerian is good. Then you should that just like him, so many other Nigerian men are good and faithful. Is former President Bill Clinton a Nigerian? Do you also hate him and all other American males with this passion? You may answer that plz! |
does not really appear repentant |
@POSTER, You should have started a paragraph or on what theme? It is a good idea anyway , |
Shouldn't we change that our doors might brighten Decider isn't fate On our heels,it all burdens With thier exit:we;in merry hugged Like siren:Our senselessness now sizzles From North to the South, and from Youmassoukro to Mogadishu and to Mono River Leadership tussles;we claim Our doings're stinking Are we to lead abandoned lodging? Do we secretly desire the very outsider? Is it not fair we embrace- more honor with morale? Any more slumber'll hug slander Do we not know that our grains, when counted: surpass the Solar How mightily blessed;we are Time now to spit All the gully spleen- from our splendid system For our house is so handsome ------CaringPro Join your poetic voices here lets make some quite contribution towards our ill-governed polity! |
No pity for these thieves that call themselves militants. Are they also becoming 'above' the law? Or do we not have appropriate laws in this country for rapists and property destroyers? |
I do not have any issue what so-ever with the man SOLUDO but the big issue is the platform he is coming from [PDP]. Are they going to allow him to work? With Chris Uba as their supposed state party leader. Wont the idiot and people like him do all in their motor park powers to frustrate this gentle Prof? |
@POSTER, I believe a lot of responders did not really get what you are trying to say. They took the relationship example you gave and forgot the real stuff behind your post. MY RESPONSE: The day we get all we want in this life, the joy of living ends. Its an imperfect world and lots of people are better off for these imperfections. ![]() |
We may be getting very close to 'grammatical error epidemic' in this country due partly to poor written 'English workbooks' and what-have-you the younger ones are currently being fed it! |
@ Poster, Gos bless you for giving us this piece of information |
This story if far from being truthful. Just trying to substantiate their bogus claims before the court. |
I am not an RCCG member but positively saying that Pastor Bakare may be seeking for more popularity but his approach is rather not the best! |
@Nwadimma, Very good question there! Where is ANA? |
@ Poster, Your "boy" is not yet man enough to start thinking of marriage. He should grow up first. It take emotional, psychological and mental maturity for one to want to enter into marriage institution. Have you asked why marriage is called an institution? Part of it is because there is some level of maturity required before one enters the life institution. I suggest he sees a counselor but ONE VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION: How are you sure that he will not ask you to go each time you two quarrel even after marriage? Think about it and try to positively talk with him.Good luck |
Shame to our Poliical class for making Nigerians subject themselves to these kinds of madness just because they want to leave Nigeria at all cost! |
This is an important thread because i am an addicted writer even though i have other private businesses too. But i want to ask something, have you thought of some young writers as the poster posited, coming together to make the best use of their God given talents and ideas? It is not always all about money first. Good ideas has a way of attracting necessary 'push'. What do you want to achieve with your writing? For instance, i am a poet but looking at the environment i had to get my poems published somewhere in UK through the internet but the main write-ups i push to the Nigerian market is relative to where we are now and what the reading majority will most likely go for. Are you getting me here? Be flexible, be dynamic, change your theme. Research,do not be stagnant. I had to suspend some good fictions i was working on, partly because of having lots of project but mostly i discovered that there are things most Nigerians will want to read any day. People are not comfortable in this country,TRY TO SEE SOME PROBLEMS AROUND AND SOLVE IT THROUGH WRITING, IT MAY BE SIMPLE TEACH STUFF TO HOW PEOPLE CAN LIVE BETTER. Are you getting my point? You work on these while you perfect your BIG project that you will comfortably use the resources you must be gathering from these 'side attraction' to promote. Get hold of this: It is FREE TOO: http://CashMinters.com/freeguide.htm @Nwadimma, I was tempted to agree with you but no. There are some writers i know here now that can comfortably quite their jobs if not for the passion they have for the job. I ran an industry and believe me, writing has really earned me more than what the factory is bringing i averagely [consider the inherent cost of running such factory in a no-NEPA Nigeria and the no cost of writing ] and of-course the potential of earning for life, from a once writing job you did. Fashola is the best governor ever. His sincerity of purpose is disarming.I know that some few critics will secretly be admiring and envying his strides! |
@Chiozor, You painted a picture of two strangers who are married. If you courted your spouse even if for few months and she has some tendencies of madness you will surely know. She must let off her guard so that you will rightly take a decision even before the alter and 'i do' issue. No sane woman will want to fight her man or maybe the man gave the impression he is a chicken in a man's skin. Women has a way of having deep rooted respect and almost fear for someone they love so where does the issue of carrying weapon come in? I STILL SAY THAT THERE IS JUSTIFICATION TO HIT YOUR WOMAN! |
I believe that the 'hurricane' thief as much as you can is gradually coming to an end in Nigeria if this present tempo will be sustained. Thieves will be sidelined in the scheme of things. SHAME TO IBORI AND THOSE LIKE HIM |
No sane man will want to hit the other especially his woman! |
@chosen04, Please do not consider suicide in this life no matter what because the world does not reject anybody who commits suicide, Heaven too do! |
@Poster, There may not be any scientific or lay down rule that says don't hit women. But remember that it is REALLY STUPID TO ENGAGE IN PHYSICAL FIGHTS EVEN WITH FELLOW MEN, so why must one then engage his wife, his better half to such fight? There are many ways one could easily CORRECT his woman when she goes wrong. abi? |
@ Poster, Your story is really inspiring. I want to believe that those who will objective read your story will be touched for GOOD. @smile4kenn You must be a very serious human being. I kept laughing as i re-read your contribution here. Years ago, i was involved in an NGO project were we go round some blind centers and inspire them. Believe me, they make good use of their memory much more than we that see. One fact is that since they can not see, they are not distracted by anything. But in this instance, the POSTER must be relying on someone else to read the reaction on Nairaland[ i am saying this because i have related with a lot of blind people on charity missions.] Also note that there is a computer keyboard now for the blind but another person has to read out for him or he can set up his audio transcript. IF YOU ARE A WRITER AND STILL BELIEVE THAT IT'S ROCKET SCIENCE TO PRODUCE GREAT WORKS, GRAB THIS FREE MANUAL: http:CashMinters.com/freeguide.htm God bless you all NB: I will like to get in touch with the poster [if this is not fiction], he deserves to be encouraged more. |
God is not asleep. He has justly taken PDP to their point of complete destruction in Anambra State. |
Jailed former chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Chief Olabode George, shunned his meals on Monday. Apparently unhappy at the refusal of the Lagos High Court to grant him bail pending the hearing of the appeal against his conviction, George was said to have refused to eat. With no reprieve coming through a bail, it is feared the ex-NPA chairman may have to serve out his one-and-half-year jail term. His situation appears rather precarious as the congestion at the Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal may prevent an expeditious consideration of the appeal against the conviction by the lower court. The appeal may take as long as two years before final judgment, by which time the prison term would have lapsed. WONDERS SHALL NEVER END. SO THIS MAN HAS NOT REPENTED? @Poster, If abstinence is your forthe then. You should not be talking or asking of contraception because when you don't get involved sexually, how do you think of taking in? Think about it |
Dele is just any other Nigerian business man who is doing something good for his pocket's good. So why are you making him more popular. Good thing though.Keep the promo going! |
This should not be NEWS because 99% of PDP members are CRIMINALS. A whole lot of them should be in different prisons in the country too. Only time will tell. I am praying fervently that Buhari gets to Aso Rock Soon. He wont spare any of them |
@Poster, Has she giving you any reason to suspect her. Do you really know who you are married to? It is possible that the man [if he is not upright] may try to do some other thing, but if your wife is a reliable woman, she will back out and discontinue the follow.Or alternatively, discuss it with her and find another option. |
