He is 100% correct but Nigerians are ignorant despite their education and have a negative association with debt.

All this $20b a year budget will never take us anywhere.

As individuals we borrow to start businesses and build houses but somehow we think it is bad for a country to borrow to develop to create wealth and job creating infrastructure which if properly deployed will pay for itself.

The party to beat in incompetence
The real incompetence is when you are an opposition party and you cannot defeat an incumbent party that has brought hardship upon the citizens. Instead of getting your act together as an opposition you blame INEC.

APC wins elections because the opposition are inept. if you cannot even manage your election and defeat an incumbent that has brough hardship, how can you manage a state or the country?

When we were young, we heard some of the elders talk about Ibos but we thought they were just old fashioned, tribalists and unprogressive. With the benefit of history and social media, we are getting first hand insight into the souls of the ordinary Ibos that we ordinarily would not be privileged to pre social media.

We were brought up to be Nigerians but it seems most Ibos only see themselves first as Ibos. I noticed on Twitter some years ago that it is only the Ibo man that in his handle description starts with “Ibo” . For example “Ibo, husband, architect”

It seems the elders were not wrong after all.

Kwakwanso knows his people and knows the north will never vote for Obi. He also knows he cannot win the presidency outside of the 2 main parties. Unlike others promoting the agenda of him running as VP to Obi, including Obi himself, he is smart enough to know that either way he will lose and therefore it is better for his image to run as a presidential candidate in NNPP and lose than run as VP to Obi and lose.

Who in the North is going to take him seriously if he runs as VP to Obi and loses?

I have read it. The ruling was that INEC had the choice to determine how they wanted to determine votes. Effectively they were saying that failure to do electronic transmission was justified.

In all of the things you stated, I’m still waiting for your input on the attempt to tamper with technology. Note that when this was done, there was no ruling about electronic transmission as yet. If your political calculation ignores that, then it leaves much to be desired.

You are actually saying that people that write their own results and sign for the presiding officer, threaten opposition at collation center, testimony of corpers that get threatened, incumbent governors or presidents that ensure that their candidates win, Wike magic, etc etc cont exist in Nigeria or it’s not significant enough to overturn election results. Sorry but that’s a naive take.

They rig especially when they have solid backing because they know that the courts will just pronounce a generic wording “that the irregularity wasn’t sufficient.” Not sufficient? By what metric please? This is why many have called for revision of the provision because the current one makes it difficult for the claimant to have a successful plea at the tribunal. Because the court assumes that the umpire did the right thing abinitio.

Party agents, police etc are humans and can be bought over. Nothing beats technology in terms of election matters. Don’t tell me “Chidoka said” if you can’t explain it.

APC makes people think Nigerian system is one of the best in the world. Tell me what makes it so.
. I indulged you enough. If you think you can rig an election without leaving evidence you are daft and clearly do not understand the electoral process in Nigeria.

I have wasted enough time on you

You are a typical brain dead Nigerian who could have googled the Chidoka video and you are telling me to get it for you and you want me to believe you have read the electoral laws. You probably do t even know where to go to look for it.

Below is the Chidoka video. You probably won’t watch it because your sort are not interested in facts just narratives and propaganda. I post it because others may learn.

I am done with you and will not engage you any further. You are free to believe what you wish. Like I said the more opposition supporters believe your narrative, the more Obi and Atiku will do the same thing in 2027. O have nothing to gain by trying to enlighten the unenlighteneable or supporters of numbskulls on how they can defeat my preferred candidate. If you kept your 14m votes intact and did not split it there is no way Tinubu could be president especially with a presidency that was against him. So why am I wasting my time trying to convince you of the only way you can defeat him?

Election is a numbers game you had 14m, APC as an incumbent got 8.7m and in your stupidity it is irev that is your concern? Something somewhere in your brain did not tell you “I am sounding foolish o”. Carry all the votes from Rivers and give Obi what does it do for him? You are not ready to win elections.

Good night!

Lol you don’t get it but I’ll try again. Yes I have read the electoral law and it’s interpretation thereof by the PEPC. But that’s not my grouse. I’m asking you (supporter of indignity) and your candidate, if you were sure that split votes of your major opposition was enough to secure victory, why attempt tamper with technology (whether or not it was going to be relevant eventually in the scheme of things)?
Meanwhile, any idea that the “glitch” was coincidental is either naive or self-deceiving.

In summary, any political calculation that emphasizes split votes of contenders but leaves out the fact that the supposed winner of the polls needed to rely on manual collation and did his best to undermine the relevance of technology, is a dustbin political calculation.
you havent read it, If you did you wont be talking about IREV. it is as simple as that.

IrEv has no legal relevance, consequence or input to the collation of results.

I stopped reading the moment you said you have read the law because anyone who knows the law would not talk about IREV.

EDIT: I later read your post to the end and let me answer your question.

I have said it many times on this platform that it is IMPOSSIBLE to rig in Nigeria without leaving evidence of the rigging. I am not saying rigging doesnt happen but most times the rigging is not contested because it made no difference to the result and in cases where it did, The loser will have the results overturned if he goes to court because unlike the image being portrayed by the opposition we actually have one of the most fool proof systems in the world.

back to your question, Nigerians try to rig because it is in their system but you cant get away with rigging. Every result you alter on IREV has the original copies with INEC, Party agents, the police. So when you alter the result and post on IREV, you are only fooling yourself. Nigerians are educated ignoramuses. Nigerians rig because we have a low IQ. Changing the result on IREV or snatching ballot boxes etc is a futile exercise. If you snatch a ballot box and the result are that close that that PU is the difference, the election will be rerun under tighter security. So thiose who disrupt elections only get away with it because the result of the election they disrupted did not affect the overall result.

Nigerians rig because we are Nigerians are educated ignoramuses. Nigerians attempt to rig for the same reason a candidate forges a degree certificate he did not need to contest. because we are very ignorant. Some attempt to rig thinking they are pleasing their principals not knowing they are hurting him.

Like I said you CANNOT rig an election in Nigeria and not leave evidence. if the opponet did not contest your rigging it is because he knows he would have lost even without the rigging not because you got away with it or did not leave evidence. A good example is IMo state. APC rigged heavily but even when ALL the rigged results (including those in favour of APC) were cancelled, HOpe still won...highlighting the futility of rigging. A thorough analysis was done on this by OSita Chidoka

You Think LP did not rig with their 99% votes in the SE? it wasnt contested by APC or PDP because they lost, they came 3rd. You challenge the man who won not the man who lost. If APC had lost By 300K votes to LP, what went on in the SE would have been exposed....did we not see the videos? Like I said you only get away with rigging because you would have won without the rigging or your rigging did not help you win.

casualobserver:
Please try to read and understand. I say it many times Nigerians sound dumb because they read but fail to comprehend the substance of what they read. I did not say people will not attempt to rig. I said rigging is futile. I said if you rig, you will leave evidence. Some people will rig and leave evidence but will still have won without the rigging. If you rig and you lost the evidence will be there for your opponent.

I suggest you google Osita Chigoka’s brilliant analysis of recent governorship elections. Particularly his submission on IMO state. He confirmed what I said. There was massive rigging in Imo but Hope would have won even if those results were cancelled. Proving my point! The evidence of rigging was there and that is my point if you rig you will leave evidence. So if he lost there would be evidence.

Hence it is difficult to rig an election in Nigeria successfully that you would not have won if you didn’t rig. Please try to comprehend what is being said!

Watch the video below: he stated every polling unit where there was rigging for IMO, mentioned every single INEC staff by name responsible for the rigging at every polling unit or collation center (to show you cannot hide evidence of rigging) but concluded that even after expunging the results from PUs with rigging Uzodima still won. Note OSita is a PDP man!

If you watch the video, (from around 21:00) he says if they only used the results from the PU where there was no rigging and cancelled the results from Uzodimma stronghold were there was rigging, Uzodimma would still have won. This is a PDP chieftain saying clearly “PDP and LP were not competitive in the election”

Insult me all you want but you still need to answer the question of: what’s the purpose of a viewing portal created by law to undo the incidences of election malpractice prevalent with manual collation?
Eeediots like you have never read the electoral law. Irev is a viewing portal, it has no consequence on the collation or actual results.

It shows the kind of ignorance that pervades supporters of Obi.

If you have read the electoral law you won’t be talking about IREV. You haven’t read it, you know you haven’t read it, Obi and Atiku know you haven’t read it that’s is why they tell you IREV, IREV!

Irev is a photocopy of your results. When they are counting they use the original, every party agent has a copy of the original. That is why when your principals went to court they didn’t try to prove they won despite having copies of the originals, they instead went on a fishing expedition trying to disqualify based on certificates etc.

Don’t you ask yourself, if the result on IREV was the one used to declare the winner why didn’t Obi tender the real results in court?

They tell you IREV because they know you are too daft to read. They know you are ignorant and stooooopid.

Your comment shows you are ignorant and uneducated. Irev has nothing to do with the authentic results. It is not part of the collation process.

I am very happy for you to continue to blame INEC, IREV, rigging , snake, rat, Kim Jung in, Trump, Putin, Biden and any other person you may want to add to the list of the reasons you lost elections. If APC can change vote counts from 18 to 68, nothing stops them from changing 18 to 98. Whether or not the opposition comes together, if the referee is firmly in their grasp and the system of justice is in their pocket, political calculations are pointless.

In fact, if elections are done today and are largely free and fair, APC wouldn’t be able to beat either of Atiku or Obi.
Keep engaging in self delusion and intellectual laziness. That’s what APC and those of us who do not want to see Atiku and Obi in Aso rock are counting on…….your inability to engage your brains as followers and the inability of your leaders to swallow their egos and come together.

No they trust the incompetence, buffoonery, ineptitude and ego of the opposition.

The formula to defeat APC is known to all, Atiku and Obi should join hands. But they won’t for the same reason they didn’t in 2023. And so they will split the votes and blame rigging.

In a 3 horse race, the only person that can get 25% in 2/3rds of states is Tinubu and APC.

Instead of giving excuses in advance to your candidates for an election that hasn’t happened why don’t you tell your candidates that they must find a way to work together?

The reason Atiku and Obi will both run seperately and lose again is because you their supporters don’t hold their feet to the fire for wasting your votes on the egos.

They tell you it is rigging and you like fooools that you are swallow it and parrot the rigging narrative. What incentive then is there for any of them to swallow their ego and join hands when they know they can count on your vote?

I’m happy with Tinubu but if you are not then you deserve your unhappiness because you are not holding the people who can remove Tinubu to account for wasting your votes in 2023 and for planning to waste it again in 2027!!!!

If Atiku and Obi know they are not getting their party ticket unless it is a joint ticket, they will find a way to work together.

The truth is Obi is unelectable, even if Atiku steps down for him he will lose. The North will look at Tinubu v Obi and realize their interests for the next 4 years are best served backing Tinubu. Atiku’s votes will go to Tinubu than go to Obi. The man who needs to step down if you want to defeat Tinubu is Obi……but he won’t because he is just as dumb and driven by sentiment and ego rather than strategic thinking and dispassionate analysis just like his supporters.

It’s not rigging. Obi will insist on running because he knows the window of opportunity for a southern president is shutting. Atiku will insist on running because he knows age is not on his side and this is his last opportunity.

They will split the opposition votes like they did in 2023 and their supporters will insist like they did in 2023 that it was rigging, INEC and judiciary conspiracy.

You must be Extremely naive. These are the very men that get cheated on….not just cheated on but dumped

You cannot do even half of all these things and still have the time and energy to be successful or achieve your true potential in life……and what happens when you are not successful? Exactly!!!

You want a woman that won’t cheat?

1). Be successful
2) don’t marry the daughter of a single mother or a divorced home (absent father)
3) don’t marry a woman with dodgy friends or whose friends cheat or were side chicks.
4) don’t marry a woman with male friends especially those who maintain relationships with their exes and argue with you there is nothing wrong
5). Marry a woman who is eager to please you not a woman you are eager to please.
6) don’t sell yourself short when choosing a wife, you are the prize not the wife. A husband is harder to find than a wife.
7) the shortest path to financial and emotional and career ruin is the one based on the fantasy that you can please a woman. Your job as a man is to make sure she has a lot to lose if she does. That is what stops a woman from cheating.

cool marry a woman with self respect. Understand the difference between self respect and Yanga/pride. A woman who does not respect herself will disrespect you. You will know if a woman has self respect by observing things in her as you date. The way she conducts herself, the kind of interactions/situations/people or environments she avoids or gets involved in etc.

9) after doing all this pray to God

The minute you are trying to please a woman you have lost.

WorkTheTalk:
Nigeria is a conglomerate of illiterates, courtesy of the thiefing political class. When the corrupt politicians pretend to be on the side of the masses to keep looting the treasury, you hear them accusing people like Dangote of monopoly in the oil sector, whereas for over 30 years, they kept stealing the money meant for fixing the refineries to produce the fuel locally. They use the same stolen money to import fuel, and collect subsidy benefits.

When did Dangote stop NNPC from fixing the refinaries, or approving private companies to build new refinaries to produce fuel locally for a fair market competition? Dangote knows is right as a local producer, and he has approached the court. Whoever believes that Dangote is aiming at the so-called monopoly in the oil sector should approach the cout too.

How can someone produce goods locally, and you import same product to sell in the same market, and call that competition?
Don’t be fooled by all the noise from NNPC and all its affiliates. They want to turn Nigerians against Dangote so they can keep importing fuel, and steal from the treasury in the name of subsidy.

If the oil giants are afraid of oil sector monopoly by Dangote, let them build refineries, and produce fuel locally. They have crude oil locally to produce fuel.

Every sane person knows that the best economy is when there is local production, rather than importation. Even the thiefing politicians know this, but they will try all means to control Dangote, or blackmail him to support their reason for continuous fuel importation.
I tire for Nigerians. Honestly we are just too intellectually dull. Have we not killed enough industries and jobs with imports? Dangote saw what happened to his textile mills.

How anyone can side with importation of petrol baffles me.
