If you investigate, I am sure Gbadebo is not paying his mai guard or houseboy N100k |
wickedclown:Read again or take my advice and relearn English. At this point perhaps your problem is not only English but a lack of intelligence? |
wickedclown:Like i said go and relearn English because I repeat, you lack proper English comprehension. Did I mention federal government? this is how you fail exams and interviews and dont get the jobs you apply for. This is why they employ foreigners over you despite your claims that you speak English. This is why they ask Nigerians to take English proficiency exams for university admission abroad. Many of you speak English but lack comprehension. It is your lack of English comprehension that leads you to conclude that the "Our" means government when nothing in my statement said or implied such. "Our" means it is "Nigerian" money. It is money that is derived from Nigeria not money that originated in the US. Nigerian money that should be deployed for the good of our economy will now be seized and deployed for the American economy. That is what my statement means to anyone with sound English comprehension. What you should do next time if you are unclear is ask who are the “our”? |
wickedclown:It is Nigerian money hence the "our", i did not say "my". There are online courses in English comprehension, i suggest you enroll in one so when people talk you actually understand what they are saying. |
this is always the annoying thing about all these corruption cases in the US.....they end up seizing OUR money. |
Trump is hoping to be president of the USA. His job is to defend the interests of the USA. Not to please Africans who can’t get their countries right. Fix your continent so you do t have to JAPA! |
Why didn’t he speak at the time? |
NetbizBoss:To start with the question is not how many shares does your father own but what is the value of the shares he bought. If you father owns 1,000 shares then the total value of his shares today is N10,000, what did he pay for it? If he paid N1000 then and it is worth N10000 now then it has been a good investment. If he paid N10,000 then and it is only worth N10,000 now then so far it has been a bad investment. My guess is if you forget about shares you own because the share certificates were lost, he probably didn’t pay much for them in the 1st place. Secondly transcorp was a govt creation and was always going to be bogged down in govt machinations, politics and policies. it was never a good investment idea then, though now that may be change given the revamp in the power sector and the entry of elemelu. |
spinna:Guiness was not frustrated out of the country. Nigeria is their largest market outside Ireland. Guiness is still in Nigeria. The Nigerian brewed Foreign extra stout is very popular globally and accounts for over half of all Guinness brewed worldwide. Though now brewed in other countries, It was developed in Nigeria. Nigeria was their first brewery outside Europe. If guiness leaves Nigeria, it means Guiness is dead. Comment on things you know about. |
GloriousGbola:Why are you so negative, why always thinking of the worst about Nigeria? Do you think there aren’t caterers already catering for Foreign airlines already? People are thinking of ways to create jobs for you and you are thinking negatively? |
SeeWahala:In any society the masses are generally stooopid. They are the most ignorant, least educated, least informed, least likely to engage their brains and most gullible of that society. It’s a fact! In a society like Nigeria where even the elite are not as smart as they think they are, what does that say about the masses? |
Lungs:It’s not checks up it’s check up |
Lungs:Like I said stick to comments about food on the night bus to Lagos. Patronize Nigerian caterers does not mean serve Nigerian food! While you are on the night bus also go to night school to improve your English comprehension. |
jaxxy:We actually do. You wouldn’t know because you have never travelled abroad. |
Lungs:People that don’t have passports talk less been on an international flight. |
id4sho:Oga use your brains. Patronize local caterers does not mean serve Iru or Amala. It means the food must be prepared in Nigeria by Nigerian caterers even if it is foreign meals. It means don’t come with your food prepared abroad for the outbound flight. |
One of the best performing ministers! |
Enice:I have said it many times that he thinks constantly being in the headlines will improve his chances come 2027 but that it will have the opposite effect. Rather than enhance his chances, his constant need to be in the news will only serve to demystify him and expose the shallowness of his mind. The more he talks the more he exposes himself. 4 years is a long time for a man with nothing upstairs to keep talking. |
helinues:The man said Tinubu has the power to reverse the market price of a commodity which by law is determined by market forces. God really saved Nigeria, we dodged not just a bullet but a bomb. |
Fighting over Igwe in another man’s land? Wonderful! |
Game on! |
Gbaja needs to be replaced. Fashola is a better Cos. |
eagleu:I think at this stage it is best we just leave the matter of Pentecostal pastors to the judgement of the almighty. ….the rest of us just use our brains and don’t contribute to rolls Royce/private jets and flamboyant lifestyles. Use your money to help someone in need, at least they have finally confessed tithing is not compulsory. |
Comfyonos2019:Isn’t that what we want how it used to be, people working for government for the goood of the people? He now needs to match it with befitting remuneration for those who work for government. That said being as it is still Nigerians that will man the agencies, we will simply find a way to extract money from fellow Nigerians while sending what is meant for govt to govt. |
tundegan:If there is one thing w know Tinubu knows how to do it is how to enhance revenue and block leakages. |
obonujoker:Is JSS primary school or early childcare? When I said you must have been one of those taught by unqualified teachers, you thought I was joking? |
obonujoker:Do you know the difference between “early childhood”, “primary school” and “teens”? Sounds to me you may have been taught by one of these unqualified teachers. |
dawnomike:I am not sure Humility is correcting yourself when you have been exposed to the whole world and the whole world knows you are wrong. Would he have apologized if it were the days before the internet and the comment was known just to his church members? Catching a child with his hand in the cookie jar leaves him with no choice than to admit it was him and say sorry. The sorry does not mean he is sorry for stealing, it could be regret for being caught. It’s different from a child who later comes and says that cookie that was missing, I was the one who took it. It is good he reversed himself but that is not equal to humility. To start with carrying yourself like you are God is not humility. |
GEEBITE:Many of you are simply daft and dont know how to isolate issues when discussing a topic. This is not a comparison between Davido and Wizkid but the families they come from and the upbringing provided. Wizkid is not from a broken home. His parents are together. They conduct themselves with dignity. You don’t hear about any member of his family trying to cash in on his fame whether father mother brother sister cousin etc. The other family is all over the place. The Davido himself his rise to fame was to cash in on his fathers wealth by singing about how he is a rich man’s son. His uncle despite being the son on a senator did not even have school certificate, It’s always one thing or another. Wizkid made a comment about his lack of home training. That is the topic. If you want to discuss something else find someone else and stop disturbing me. Neither wizkid or Davido is a role model, I wouldn’t want my daughter marrying any of them. But if my daughter did not listen to me, then based on what is known about both families (granted more is known about Davido than wizkid’s) I would prefer her being a member of wizkid’s family despite coming from a humble background than Davido’s. For me there is too much I don’t like about Davido’s leading me to the same conclusion as Wizkid. |
GEEBITE:I am not talking about wizkid or Davido. I am talking about their families. Neither of them have any mouth to talk about each other considering their antecedents. The issue is about upbringing and about who is better trained. Based on the information and conduct available on both families, it is clear Wizkid is better raised. Being better raised does not mean a young man will not be influenced by society and go astray but when you see a man behaving badly and his family members also involved in behaviour unbecoming, you draw a conclusion that the bad behaviour of the child is a result of bad upbringing as opposed to societal influences. |
Omoboricash:Scandal is probably too strong a word. Perhaps a better description is “behavior unbecoming” and making a “public ridicule of themselves” and there are many in the public domain without me having to point them out. |
cococandy:Please stop disturbing me with old matters carers are bottom cleaners. the English public know this that is why there is no outrage from the Nritish public over such a comment from a prime ministerial hopeful. The only people complaining are Nigerians. If you don’t like being called a bottom cleaner find another job. The British people know what a carer is. If you like fool yourself because they ask you to take vital signs. |
