Saintinoo:Maybe you need to read properly. Labour called for cancelling THE ENTIRE PRESIDENTIAL election. You do t do that unless your own results have told you you have lost. SE results cannot save you. You do t become president of Nigeria without geographical spread and as we can see Labour cannot get 25% in 20 states….aka game over or end of the road for LP. Awolowo won his stronghold massively he didn’t have geographical spread…Shagari become president!!! |
Saintinoo:There is no need. Even Labour are officially calling for cancellation of the elections. They have party agents, they have their own copy of the results from the PUs and would have done the collation in their situation rooms, they know they have lost. You don’t call for cancellation if you are winning or have any hope of winning. You call for cancellation when you know from YOUR OWN REsULTS FROM YOUR OWN OARTY AGENTS!! |
Saintinoo:Atiku May win but the one thing that is certain now is Obi will not get 25% in 24 states. Now yo I can remove your disguise and go back to IPOB |
Let’s just go back to the days of rigging abeg, Nigerians don’t know how to organize anything properly! |
Saintinoo:You are daft and I am no longer responding to you. Tinubu.s stronghold in this election is the North. His traditional Base of Lagos has been diluted with immigrants and elitist yorubas. Was it yorubas that made him the APC candidate or the North? You forget Osibanjo, Fayemi, Amosun and Bakare all contested against him. If not for the North he would have lost the APC ticket. |
GEEBITE:I could also argue that what he lost in Osun he has more than made up in Ekiti with change. Look my friend the point is one I have made tirelessly over the last few months, winning a state my small margins is meaningless. It is the states where you win with hundreds of thousands that will determine who wins this election. For that we turn to the North. |
TruthsFM:My error it is just under 10,000 but still not that significant |
Fezchima:My error, still not significant. |
Saintinoo:You people just come here posting nonsense!! What stronghold? I check my facts before I post. In 2019 APC only won Osun by 10,000 votes in an election that had twice the turnout. Osun state has traditionally leaned towards PDP go and check!!! Even when APC wins it’s always by a small margin. See 2019 results below. I am an educated person, I dont post like someone from a beer parlor
|
Okwyjesus:Oga Obasanjo is not a yoruba man. We don’t count him as one of us and never have. You voted for him because both candidates were yoruba in 2019 and because in 2023 you were planted in PDP and saw PDP as your party and Ojukwu had lost his Mojo. You voted against our candidate Falae in 1999. Did you not vote for PDP against a OJUkwus APGA In gubernatorial elections? How many APGA governors did you have in the SE in 199 and 2003? Stop trying to manipulate history |
Okwyjesus:But it is ok for Tinubu to do poorly (not to get ANY votes in many places) in Se and that is not hate and tribalism? It is ok for yorubas in Lagos to vote for Obi but as soon as Obi loses in some Yoruba areas you say it is hate. In my polling unit Obi won by over 600 votes to Tinubu 57 on the island despite many yorubas but you won’t see that. This is why you won’t become president of Nigeria. |
waynetee:PDP won by less than 10,000 votes. I keep telling you people “winning” a state doesn’t matter, you don’t get any prize in a presidential election for “winning” a state. What matters is the gap between you and your opponent. As far as Osun state. It is of no consequence as the gap is only 10000…. You can overturn that easily in one ward in a strong state. The real battle is between Atiku and Tinubu, obi is out of the race because he won’t get 25% in 24 states. |
ImmaculateJOE:The only state in the SW where Obi will get 25% is Lagos. |
Forget NNPP and LP neither will get 25% in 24 states. Focus your energies on the gap between APC and PDP or PDP and APC if you prefer. One of them will become president because both will get 25% in 24 + Fct. |
unclejb2:You are a fantasist. Are you not seeing the results from Oyo and ogun? Fct is not part of the 24. Ok I give you nassarawa. That’s 18. He isn’t getting 25% in Niger state. As for Oyo see incoming results from Oyo… As you can see no 25% incoming for Oyo
|
lhordspy:You forgot to add Reno |
unclejb2:You need to wake up from your dreamland. Where are the states where Obi is getting 25%? Lagos + SE+ SS + Benue + plateau + Adamawa+ Maybe Kaduna and Taraba is only 17 states. Which state have I missed because he is performing woefully in the core north which is overwhelming Apc v NNPP v PDP. Where is the 25% coming from? |
unclejb2:Obi is going nowhere, His race is done. It is clear from incoming results from states outside Lagos, SE and SS that he won’t be getting 25% in 24 states. The race is between Atiku and Tinubu |
Obi’s race is done. It is clear he won’t be getting 25% in 24 states. The race is between Atiku and Tinubu |
iSense247:If o Lu you became president by just winning your polling unit. What a dumb inconsequential and meaningless post. |
ThothHermes:he lost his polling unit..he came 3rd. PDp won! |
treesun:BS. if the reasons for naira change were not political then it could have been done at another time. This is a man who has mortgaged the economy of the country for 8 years (i agree he has done well in many areas) because he refused to removed subsidy claimng hardship on the masses. Now he has no problem inflicting pain on the masses because of currency change? what is in the currency change that is more important than subsidy that it is ok to inflict pain for currency change? Nonsense!!!! |
Nice2023:you are delusional. Almost all the Obi supporters you see are ex PDP suporters. APC supporters are largely intact so all that will happen is some of Atiku's supporters are porting to Obi. It is the same thing playing out nationally that will play out in FCT. People who voted for APC last time are not voting for Obi. get that into your skull!!! Do a random survey amiongst Obi supporters you know and ask who they voted for last time if they voted and 90% will tell you Atiku. You guys dont understand basic mathematics!!! Obi is the reason Tinubu will become president because he has canibalised the vote of the only person that could stop Tinubu........Atiku. Kwakwanso and Obi voters were part of the 10m votes Atiku got in 2019, APC got 14m. You cannot remove Kwakwanso and Obi from that 10m which was less than APC to start with and expect to defeat APC....basic math!!!! Let us assume kwakwanso accounts for 2m votes of the 10m, even if the remaining PDP 2019 votes are shared 4m each between Obi and Atiku, it means they have to find 10 million additional NEW voters to catch APC, Even if Apc Loses some of it's 14m votes from 2019 (lets say 3m) Atiku and Obi have to find 7m new votes ....na so them dey find votes? na beans? the total number of new voter registrations was only 11m and that is shared amongst all parties. |
vicdom:you guys are so daft!! you didnt even bother to check that these are ballot papers from 2019? |
Nice2023:All candidates will get 25% in FCT. However you dont need to get 25% in FCT. please go and read the constitution and stop posting like an illiterate!! . All it means is FCT is counted as a state, i.e you must have 25% in 2/3rds of 37 states (same problem we had in 1979 may occur however there is a court case (Awo v Shagari) that determined and has set precedent for what is 2/3rds of a state). Abuja is NOT compulsory. you guys are so so so badly educated!!!! |
athaboi:Mark my words because i will call you out on election day. Atiku cannot win because he has no states where he controls majority of the votes, the states he will win will be by small margins. even his votes in the North will be shared by APC. All PDP states are shared votes states..thanks to OBi!!! Atiku will either be sharing votes with Obi, Kwakwanso or sharing votes with Tinubu. He has no state to give him a decisive lead!!!! Obi will not win because although he may get good margin of victories in the SE, that's where it ends. He will share SS, middle belt and lagos votes, every where else in the south (i.e SW) he will be defeated by a huge margin, which will decimate his huge margin in the SE. Every where else in the south if he wins it will be marginal. In places like plataue and benue he may win but they will be marginal victories. He has negligible votes in the core North so his race effectively ends in the middle belt. Tinubu will get get a huge lead from SW votes (ex lagos) lagos will be shared like I said so no one benefits. Tinubu is the only person that will get enough votes around the country....his strong SW votes will cancel Obi's SE votes and he will share the Northern votes with Atiku ) and has strong states (Borno Yobe etc) that will put him in the lead. by the time we finish counting from SW.SE and SS and NE, Obi or Tinubu will be 1st and 2nd (hard to say which) Atiku will be 3rd. then we add NW and NE votes and this is where Obi will fall apart as his momentum will drastically drop having negligible votes in those zones! Tinubu and Atiku will share the NW and NE equally but Tinubu's joker are states like Borno, yobe that he will not share with anyone...those are the states that will make him president, hence his selection of Shettima!!!! by the time you add Northern votes Atiku will likely (i said likely) move to 2nd and obi will (likely) slip to 3rd. who comes second between obi and Atiku is hard to call. mark my words!!! it's not long!!! |
MadeInTokyo:thank God we have less than 24 hrs to endure the nonsense morons like you have been posting for months. |
Ezeama400:if they only had 1% to begin with does it matter? |
athaboi:nobody cares about Abuja, all that is required is 25%. I will repeat what I have stated many times. You ignoramuses focus on winning, but winning does not make you president. What makes you president is the margin of victory. Theoretically, you can win 30 states and lose the election. if you keep winning by small margins and your opponent has 1 or 2 states where they have 90% of the vote, they can overtake you easily. For instance Oyo was won by pdp in 2019 by only 1500 votes, nassarawaa was won by 6k votes, Osun, Edo and benue between 9k and 10k votes, that is nothing compared to Borno where APC won by over 780k or Yobe with 400k margin. Assuming PDP won all these states, Yobe alone has wiped out all their gains with change!!! there is winning a state and there is WINNING a state!!! if you only win a state by 10, 20, 30K votes, you and the person that lost are the same!!! you dont really gain anything by winnng a ststate with a small margin, this is not gubernatorial election!!! When you win a state your margin of victory needs to be at least 150k for it to matter. so stop focusing on "winning" states and FCT and focus on which states can give you 500k-1m+ votes more than your opponent. |
Bornbiafra:Obasanjo has told us the problem with Atiku. Everything he does is based on ability to bribe and marabouts. |
Timatayo1:are they supposed to admit it is true? PDP and corruption, rigging are like 5 and 6. thats why I can never vote for PDP in my life...ever!! they know no other way!!! i am not saying others dont rig but PDP, thier 1st instinct, their default mode is to rig and bribe. its the only way they know. |
