Family › Re: What Are Those Things You Can Never Forgive A Husband For by casualobserver:
IyaebeTheGreat:
Mine goes thus: I can never forgive a husband for having illegitimate kid/kids outside our matrimonial home, taking a second wife and going physical on me(even if I hit him which I won’t ever do, he should choose the option of silent treatment and not hit me back) . These three things are what I can’t ever forgive a husband for and I would hold him in my heart for the rest of my life. Share yours
I don’t sanction or advocate violence of any sort but if you hit a man and he responds and hits you back, you asked for it. How can you be violent to someone and be resentful they retaliated? What kind of nonsense is that?

As for the others, if your man is successful you will have to share him whether you like it or not. Many wives who once they marry won’t accept second wives or bastard children were themselves once sided chicks to married men.

Whether or not sharing leads to him marrying another woman or having another children outside the home depends. If you do your job as a wife, he won’t have the need to marry another wife in the 1st place. Woman wahala is much, one wife is a problem already. Men do not marry second wives because they want to.

If he is a responsible man he won’t have children outside the home. Again it is your fault for marrying an irresponsible man or not fully vetting the man you married.

Long and short.
If you are not violent, you have reason to be resentful of violence..in fact you should walk away. If you are you have no leg to stand on.

If you do your job as a wife, your husband will have no need for a second wife.

Vet the kind of man you marry before you marry. Look at his family and his friends. If a man’s father, close family members/ friends has children outside or married multiple wives…it is easier for him to do same. Same reason you don’t marry from divorced or single mother homes.

With due respect, your post sounds like an entitlement mentality the type of woman who feels once you are married your job is done…..it isn’t!!!! A man doesn’t stop working or providing because he has married and has had children.

Romance › Re: What Are You Doing With A Man That Can't Meet Your Needs? by casualobserver: 9:46pm On Mar 11, 2023
EriMma1:
No no no... You tell me?

A man who cannot meet your needs should not be anywhere around you because he'll only be a stumbling block to your progress and cause you to miss out on great opportunities that would have come your way through those who understand the assignment. Don't ever let such men around you.

I've never been an advocate for starting small with a man after my past experiences even before the economy got this bad not to talk of now that it has plunged deep into meltdown.

A lot of ladies who went into such mess in the early 2000s are still carrying the family till today while the men are struggling to meet up with no headways or hopes in sight. This takes me to the next point.

As a single man still struggling, don't ever brainwash or be brainwashed by any girl to go into marriage and manage with you until things get better. Y'all have seen that e go better has become the prayer of a poor man. So run away from such trap. Make it to a reasonable level first before going for a woman.

I don't want to begin to go into details of the eventualities that may likely occur and become very grave due to inability to tackle them financially. Use your tongue to count your teeth.

I remember a long time ago when I was dating one struggling guy. The aunty asked him a very good question I'll never forget in my life and that taught me a lesson I've been applying in life's situations.

He invited me to come spend the weekend with him that the aunt was around so I could feel relaxed. When I got there and the aunty saw me, she called him aside and asked him the following.
You know we are struggling to eat in this house. Your salary is not enough and you brought in a young girl. What if there's an emergency in the course of her stay, what will you do? How will you go about it? When he told me, I became scared and thought the aunt was right. I now remembered one certain time I visited a friend. So that night we strolled out to buy suya. I don't know if it was from the suya paper or the unhygienic environment it was prepared that gave me food poison. That night, I didn't know where I was. Serious stomach cramps and I was just coiling up in the room that day holding my stomach. Again this lawyer guy no get shishi to even take me to the nearest clinic. In his confusion he gave me garlic to chew. That seemed to help a little but omor, I broke up with him.

So, with this few points of mine, I believe iv been able to convince and not confuse you on the need to stay away from a man that cannot cater for your needs.

If you attack me, it shows you're a struggling guy or dating a struggling guy. Una eyes go soon clear. My own don clear tey tey.

Enjoy.
Here is the thing: You are often with the calibre of man or woman you are able to attract. Men understand this, women tend not to. Women feel a sense of entitlement that they deserve this or that but the reality is if you had the capacity to attract a better man you probably (90%) wouldnt be with the man you camplain about.

Like I said most men understand this and those who dont want to settle for a lesser woman work hard to attract the sort of woman they desire. MOST women dont have what it takes to attract the sort of men they desire, most dream and aspire beyond their capabilities or level, most women are delusional because the world programs women to be delusional and in most cases women do not come to terms with their reality until it is too late for them or they have made irreversible mistakes.

Like I said as a man or as a woman, who you are dating is often a reflection of your real level and your desirability to the opposite sex. if you dont like your partner.... improve yourself . The question people (both men and women) should ask themselves is 1) what does the kind of partner i want look for. 2) do I have what it takes to attract the kind of partner?

Note to women......Dont confuse desirability for sex with desirability for relationship. if the kind of men you desire seem to only want you for sex and never a serious relationship its a sign of your level on the food chain. If you only attract bums for serious relationships or the kind of men you desire are never interested in your for serious relationship. It is a sign that your opinion of yourself is not matched by reality.

Long and short: you end up with your level!!! if you were truly capable of getting a better quality partner you wouldnt be complaining, you would get one. You complain because deep down you know you cant...which is why you ended up with that partner in the 1st place!!! harsh reality but 95% of cases nothing but pure truth!!!

actually it's the other way round. the Se need Nigeria more than Nigeria needs the SE. you can tell this in migration patterns, the SE are the only ones who predominantly leave their zone to make a living...which means they cannot survive economically in their zones.

whatever businesses the SEterners have in other parts of Nigeria can be replaced by others but the market Nigeria provides for the Ibo businessmen cannot be replaced in the SE. Understand something, if you have no market for your goods, you have no business or at best a smaller business.

Answer these questions...where are the jobs in the SE, why are Seterners migrating every day to get jobs outside the SE, why do Se businessmen not invest in the SE, why do they have to go outside the SE to thrive? Why are all their investments especially property outside the SE?

some people seem to derive happiness and satisfaction in rhetoric, abuse, etc as if that is their end goal and others quietly take it all in, ignore the noise and focus on the prize. You need to decide which you are a noise maker or an achiever, whether you want to be praised for abusing others but acheiving nothing or the person who actually acheives. Some people seem to derive pleasure in the temporary feel good factor insults and abuse gives them without actually considering if they are acheiving anything through it.

Remember, for 8 years some hurled abuse at Buhari but he quietly went about his business, the abuse and insults did not stop his place in history...history does not remember the abusers only those who attained the prize.

Those who abused him still haven’t attained the prize!

PrinceOfLagos:
Happy birthday to a true son of Lagos
He is not a true son of Lagos, his family are returnee slaves who settled in Lagos. Many of them don’t have their ancestral origins in Lagos. Most of the those lagosians with foreign surnames are returnee slaves. Many originally came from places like oyo, Ilesha, Abeokuta etc. many of those sold as slaves in yoruba land never came from lagos in the 1st place, many were captured during inter-tribal wars in the hinterland and sold off as slaves. when they came back, they settled in lagos. Families like Ojora, Dosunmu etc are proper lagos. Most of the foreign named Lagosians are returnee slaves, thats why you will not find any of them that have royal lineage!!! What set these r eturnee slave families ahead of others is that their forefathers returned with skills which put them ahead of the locals and created a class of elites but they are not true sons of the soil.

Darocha, Dacosta, Randle, Macaulay, Rhodes, etc etc the tell tale is in their names which will tell you if their ancestors were Portuguese slaves or British slaves. Most of the Portuguese returnees settled in where in Lagos island today is known as Brazilian quarters.

Meanwhile you have heart to show your face here after the beating you received on the 25th.

The loudest are not always the majority!! In fact a general law of life and human behaviour is that the loudest are the most insecure and the least confident people!!!!! The quiet are often the most sure of themselves, it was so before the election and also after. You only have to look at Lagos state.
