That’s a shame. I like Umahi. Very distinguished and unblemished.

Wasn’t he a senator before he became governor?

South south gave apc lot of votes.
Four states in SS gave apc more than one hundred thousand votes. That not easy achievement.
Summary:
1. SS deserve it and Apkbabio is most senior
2. Kalu deserves it
3. SE don’t deserve it and won’t appreciate the gesture. Damned if you do damned if you don’t.
4. SS needs to be compensated in other appointments if it is given to SE.
Politics › Re: Group Urges APC To Zone Senate Presidency To South East To Quell Agitation by casualobserver: 7:02pm On Mar 06, 2023
They will still agitate no matter what you do.

It’s a tough one.
Best to give it to who deserves it. I would give it give it to Akpabio, 1) he is APC senate majority leader and SS gave APC more votes. 3) he was 1st to step down for Tinubu……It’s only fair.

I like Kalu though but He has an unsettled corruption case hanging over him and in politics your relevance is based on your ability to gather votes for the party!!! That said, Kalu joined APC 2 years before Akpabio. I do like Kalu. He’s is not your typical Ibo politician ….he understands the game and is more urbane in his outlook. Tough one!!!

Politics › Re: Omokri To Obidients:19 States Plus FCT Can't Win You The Election by casualobserver:
ChukwuObe:
Please can we have the names of the states that Peter Obi won 25% and the result from for these states from INEC portals especially, Kano, Borno, Sokoto, Jigawa, Katsina, Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Kogi, Kwara. Just post the results from the IRev and stop being emotional
He got 1% or less in katsina, Sokoto, Kano, Zamfara, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, Borno, Jigawa, Kebbi,

10% or less in Osun Kwara,Niger, Kogi, Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun

These are 17 states that Obi has no right to realistically expect 25%……based on what? if he got anything close to 25% in any of these states and was "allocated 1% or less or 10% or less as the case may be, there would be riots in those states.

I warn Nigerians to be careful of the SE propaganda machinery because they are very good at it and once they start, their lies become “facts” passed on to generations like the lies of the civil war that still cause hate and division in society today.

We have been here before where Ojukwu embarked on a war he knew and was warned by his own advisers from the start he could not win and instead of accepting defeat gracefully they proceeded to brainwash a generation with lies. Be careful! In any contest bro it war or election there will always be a winner and a loser….accept your loss gracefull and don’t damage relations or the future generations with lies.

Obi put up a good fight but don’t start what you can’t finish or what will damage your long term prospects. One of the repercussions of the way the Ibos handled the defeat of the civil war is that. There has not been an Ibo president in almost 60 years. You are embarking on the same path by trying to delegitimize the winner of this election.

There is no path to an Obi presidency this time around. Even in the unlikely scenario that he won the popular vote which he didn’t, he doesn’t have 25% in 24 states and FCT. In a rerun he will be defeated by Tinubu or Atiku as northern voting pattern shows clearly they have no appetite for him and therefore Atiku’s votes will go to Tinubu or vice versa in the North!

It will backfire on him and the Ibos as any goodwill that existed will be lost setting the quest for an ibo presidency back possibly decades.

azpekuliar:
He clearly cannot comprehend. The 19 states + FCT are the states Obidients are saying Obi won outrightly. Then he got 25% of the votes in at least 5 other states to make the spread.
That is what Reno cannot comprehend.
If you believe Obi won 25% in in any of katsina, Sokoto, Kano, Zamfara, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, Borno, Jigawa, Kebbi, where declared results says he got less than 1% or Kwara,Niger, Kogi, Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun where official results say he got less than 10%…a total of 16 states, then what you need is a psychiatric hospital!!!
Politics › Re: "Peter Obi Won 19 States, FCT In iREV Portal Collation" - Obidients by casualobserver:
if you have that level of detail, why didnt she tell us the actual overal figures. Let us eeven assume she is correct, winning 19 states doesnt mean 1) you won the overall majority vote and 2) you have 25% in 2/3rds of states.

This tweet is mischievous. if i know I won the overall majority and have 25% in 24 states +Fct, I would give the actual figures. Thing is I have said it many times, winning states does not make you president. A candidate can come second in all 36 states and have more overall votes than you who won 19 states.

This sounds like typical ibo propaganda....misleading with lies or half truths and saying it enough times for gullible followers to take it as fact.

As far as i am concerned, the gap (2.8m) between APC and LP is too much to be overhauled by any rigging redress.

1) rigging happenned in LP strongholds too, forensic examination by others will also expose vote rigging in the SE.
2) LP has no major presence in the North so they wont get 25%...it is foolhardy no matter how a recount goes to think LP will get 25% in states like kano, Katsina, Zamfara etc just like it is fool hardy to expect APC to get 25% in Anambra no matter how many times the vote is recounted, no matter any rigging that happened! I can list 13 states where it is impossible for LP to get 25%.
3) Rivers was the only place one can say there was grand rigging against LP and the entire votes from Rivers state was less than 500k
4) they will gain some votes but they will also lose some the net result I doubt is enough to overturn a 2.8m gap.
5) i have seen ridiculous claims by Obi supporters that according to their own collations Obi got 20m votes..seriously how stupid are your supporters for you to make these kind of claims. it really is a testement to the brain of the Obidient that their leaders can make such claims. Even PDP, the masters of rigging and who also claim they won will not tell you they got 10m. Daft as they are they have more sense than that.

Like I said, I can list 13 states where it is impossible for LP to get 25%. that alone means it would have gone to a rerun. The thing is Obi cannot win a rerun with Atiku because of the Northern factor and cannot win a rerun with Tinubu because of the Northern factor. in a rerun with Atiku, Tinubu's and Kwakwanso's Northern votes will go to Atiku, in a rerun with Tinubu, Kwakwanso and Atiku's Northern votes will go to Tinubu. There is no possible permutation for an Obi victory!

None of the Obidients making noise is claiming he was rigged in katsina, Sokoto, Kano, Zamfara, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, Borno, Jigawa, Kebbi, these are 10 states where he got either 1% or 0% of the votes...did anyone expect him to do well there? Add Kwara,Niger, Kogi, Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun where he scored 10% or less, thats a total of 16 states where there is no way any redress can take him over 25%. I havent mentioned other states like kaduna, Adamawa etc where he scored more than 10% but less than 15% so any right thinking person knows there is no way Obi can overhaul the results.

Obi lost this election, he should let us have peace!!!

Happy birthday to the General who chased Ojuckwu out of Nigeria to Exile, and conquered Biafra

.
Obasanjo did not chase anyone. The work was already done by others, the war was already won. Obasanjo was just a lucky man that there was a reshuffle in the army and he was redeployed to the war front AFTER the war was won. A consequence of this was that he became the one who received the surrender. He did not conquer anybody. Nigerians do not know or understand their history.

He is probably the luckiest Nigerian ever.

Console yourselves! The one thing I have learnt about you people is you will buy into any narrative that keeps you from dealing with your reality.

If you are Atikulated, his time is up…this was his last shot. As Fayose said PDP as a party is finished….at least nationally!

If you are Obidient, or from the SE, the next available slot is 2039….Obi will be 76! If you are from the SE you need to spend the next 16 years building bridges and mending fences. If this election has taught you 1 thing, it is that the minority cannot dictate to the majority, you can’t do it on your own without the endorsement of others and you don’t get there by divisive tactics.

Biafrans using Ipobian mentality

.
I have said it many times and will keep saying it. You cannot have peace with the Ibos in your midst because whenever they dont get their way they bring the house down. They did it in 1966, they did it with shagari's govt (they tried to bring down his govt causing certain members of the coalition govt (including the NPP speaker Ezeoke) to decamp to NPN. They did it when Buhari won. Not all ibos are like that I must stress but the majority are that way. they must have their way or they scatter everything!!!

there has never been any period of Civilian govt in the history of this country where the Ibos have felt they are not at the center that the country has had peace!!!
