INEC says Tinubu won, Obi and Atiku say they won. ladies and gentlemen we have 3 presidents: 1) Obi the president of the courts (since he is very comfortable there) 2. Atiku president of Dubai and 3) the Jagaban Borgu, Asiwaju bola Tinubu, bona-fide president elect of Nigeria according to the body that declares the president of Nigeria!

APc won election despite having almost half the votes they got in 2019. Ex PDP (Kwakwanso, Obi and Atiku together got more votes. Than APC got in 2019 but they all lost and it is APC you say is dull?

So who won? cheesy Obi said he won and Atiku said he won cheesy So who won? Only if they knew they both canceled eachother, even as they both rigged it in their stronghold whereas Tinubu didn't. God made Tinubu win regardless of the unwarranted foes
They all rigged. Tinubu won. If anyone will catch Tinubu it is Atiku not Obi. Obi did not get 25 states. Obidients should just forget this thing. in a rerun between Obi and Atiku, Atiku will win because Tinubu's Northern votes will go to Atiku, in a rerun between Obi and Tinubu, Tinubu will win because the muslim North will vote Tinubu.

Also note there was widespread rigging in the SE, just as votes elsewheeee will be cancelled, many votes in the SE will also be cancelled!!

Atiku even though he came second should cement his place in history and concede. he should realise now that his marabouts had deceived him all along and take the next best status available to him.

As for Obi even though he came third, he should go ahead and contest the election on the basis that due process wasn’t followed and to strengthen institutions in our country and keep our institutions honest. That’s the kind of opposition we need…something PDP failed to do in 8 years of opposition.

Note: the election will not be overturned, every reasonable person can see the results are legitimate even if there was a failure to transmit to irev. However it is important that this matter is challenged in order to keep INEC on their toes. It is part of the process of improving our processes and institutions.

NaijaCowFarm:
I am not happy that Peter Obi did not win. There are clear fundamental factors that were so herculean to overcome the very moment LP/NNPP alliance failed.
Now that Atiku is seemingly out of the way, it is time to galvanise the opposition towards 2027. It is going to be a marathon, so let us start now. There is no point wasting resources on election tribunal. With the capacity shown by Obi, 2027 is possible, but we need to do the following:

1. Not waste time and resources on election tribunal, but need to let Nigerians know of the brazen robbery APC governors and Wike perpetrated. If the PDP wants to challenge the results, let them do so themselves, without involving LP

2. Get real political structure for Labour Party across Nigeria. One reason we loss was because we did not have strong roots in the North.

3. Galvanise all elected officials to form a formidable force to take on APC, which is already reduced in strength from 21 to 12 states.

4. Peter Obi and LP should focus on the March 11, 2023 governorship polls. Obi should begin touring states LP won to boost morale of LP supports in the 22 states win high voters. Not waste resources in states like Katsina, Yobe, Zamfara.

5. LP leadership should begin talks with NNPP, progressive still in PDP and form a formidable party with structure, just like what ACN/CPC did. We need to start now.
There are IMHO 3 types of Labour supporters 1) angry youth 2) Ibos who see him a the path to Ibo presidency 3) other Nigerians who are tired of the status quo and want a change

The problem with your write up is that the soul of the LP is made of up nos1) and 2) above, group 3 have IMHO been sold a bridge in London. LP and Obidiency is fundamentally about 1) and 2), They are driven by emotion and emotional people do not make good decisions and cannot be appealed to.

I just hope they do t bro g the country down.

Very pathetic 😕😕
Here you are abusing Tinubu, hurling insults but you are ones who made Tinubu president.

APC has no business winning this election after the economic hardship of the last 8 years. But in typical educated southerner style, you abandoned your critical faculties and engaged in in decision making by sentiment and emotion. First it was religion, then it was education, then it was age, then driglaord accusations etc etc. All the while you failed to see what those who are able to think critically could see. Election is a game of numbers l, you cannot split an opposition which by definition has less numbers and expect to defeat the incumbent.

I prophesied this as far back as May last year not because I am a prophet but because I am capable of critical analysis!!! Obidients made Tinubu President. If you had aligned with Kwakwanso. (swallow pride and accept VP) OBi would be VP elect today. Instead you aligned with a fake senator who has never won an election? Dari’s election was overturned for rigging so he is not a senator…never was!!

This is an example of educated southerners have lost the ability to think right!!

kezienaira:
Yes I get your point, but they are few from the south who keep fanning flames of hatred all over nairaland.
But they are all cowards and have no grounds outside of this place.
The northerners are, i must regrettably say the main culprits.

Check am nah, even their most coveted Lagos was taken by P.O, and check where the drug baron got the highest number of votes that propelled him.
It has to tell you something.
The northerners have shown they have a higher level of native intelligence than the southerners. The educated northerners are more sophisticated in their thinking than the educated southerners.. My conclusion is that resources will be better spent educating the North than the south. The end product of western education in the south is the loss of native intelligence , the end result of western education in the south is to become western puppets and the loss of critical thinking skills.

Don’t confuse educational skills with critical thinking. The purpose of education is to enhance your reasoning skills. Most educated southerners are probably competent or experts in their fields but seriously deficient in the ability to analyze and reason issues and situations.

The ability to read and regurgitate is not the same as the ability to think. Education clearly enhances the North more than it enhances the south. The educated southerner is fast becoming g an embarrassment when he opens his mouth. In my humble opinion religion especially Pentecostal Christianity (I am a Christian) nullifies the benefit of education amongst the southerners.

[color=#000000]one of the biggest problem of Nigeria has to be the stark illiteracy rate in the north.
not even religion, because people get enlightened and throw religion to the curfs.

Actually I beg to differ. One of the biggest problems of Nigeria are the people In the south who are supposedly educated but in reality are poorly educated and incapable of critical thinking. They are more dangerous than illiterates, they are all over Nairaland!!!

Focusing on the battle and taking your eyes off the war is why Tinu u is president elect despite losing 9million votes from 2019 and the opposition gaining 6million new votes from 2019.

Tinubu did not contest to be president of Lagos! Obi did not get any prize for winning Lagos or any of the other states he won.

Obidients in particular are too petty in your thinking and mindset. You are more interested in emotional oneupmanship back and forth instead of strategic thinking and planning! More interested in propagating the idea and illusion of winning than doing the work to win!!

To Obidients,

You were never going to win this election. If Tinubu didn’t win Atiku would have won. In a rerun between Tinubu and obi, Tinubu will win, in a rerun between Atiku and obi, Atiku will win. You have put up a good fight and changed the political landscape. You are now effectively the opposition despite not having many members in the legislature. PDP is effectively dead!!!

You have also caused those in govt to sit up because they know they are not guaranteed re election. That is a victory in itself, If what you want is better governance!

You have retired PDP and caused APC to wake up. Take the gain, your movement is less than 1 year. I would advice you dissociate yourselves from PDP.. I am sure the last thing many Obidients want is your principal associating himself with PDP. It makes a mockery of the movement to fraternize with the PDP. If you want to challenge the result, feel free but do it on your own. The optics of Obidients side by side with PDP is damaging to your brand and what you claim you stand for!!
