IslamRe: Does Islam Come From The Decendants Of Ishmael The First Son Of Abraham by Cayon(op): 11:15pm On Aug 17, 2008
thanks. How come Muhammad never saw Allah?. The only ones who had seen Allah were Adam (as) and Hawa(Eve) the only one who spoke with Allah was prophet Moussa(Moses).

the Quran says, "No vision can encompass Him". And it also says that, Allah is tooo high for a human to interact with him EXCEPT either through inspiration OR through a barrier e.g. Allah talked to Moses through a barrier. Even Moses never saw Him. He could NOT.

There is a similarity in the Holy Bible. Could it be our God (the Father of Jesus) is the same God Muhammad spoke to.

***Talking to myself***Let me see, now God (Father to Jesus) created Adam and Eve.

going to try this tomorrow (without the tomatoes)

Peace
AMAKAONE:
This is not my version. I found this on the net?
Maybe that is what most people remember as African Salad as per the baked beans and salad cream etc,

Kai Naija!!!

* sliced spinach or lettuce
    * 3 hard boiled eggs, chopped into small pieces
    * 1 small tomato or cherry tomatoes sliced
    * ¼ cup green peas
    * 1 cup carrots
    * ½ cup (about 1/2 can) of baked beans
    * 1 tbsp diced red onions (diced very very small)
    * 2 tblsp. Heinz Salad Cream (if you can't find Heinz Salad cream, substitute Kraft Coleslaw salad dressing, close but
      it's not quite the same)
    * 2 tblsp. thousand island dressing (you can use 4 tblspn of salad cream, but the salad will be really rich. Mix
        thousand island and salad cream)
    * smoked salmon/fish sliced thinly
    * salt & pepper to taste

-mix salad cream, thousand island dressing and finely diced onion together. Set aside.
-mix remaining ingredients except eggs together very gently.
-add salad dressing and toss gently. (if you mix too roughly the lettuce will wilt)
-Add chopped eggs and fish last and mix gently.
- Sprinkle a little salt and pepper to taste. (not too much salt, or it will draw the water out of the lettuce and your salad will be too soggy).
-Keep refrigerated.

FoodRe: Recipes I have tried by Cayon(op): 8:39pm On Aug 17, 2008
scalloped potatoes

This was an easy one for me. I added a layer of ground beef (trying to get the iron in) in the middle

Peace

Ingredients:

4 cups thinly sliced potatoes, about 6 to 8 medium potatoes
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 tablespoons butter
2 cups scalded milk
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Preparation:

In a buttered 2-quart baking dish, place a layer of about 1/3 of the potatoes. In a cup or small bowl, combine flour with salt and pepper. Sprinkle about half of the flour mixture over the potatoes; repeat with another layer of potatoes and the flour mixture and top with remaining potato slices. Dot with butter then pour hot milk over potatoes. Cover and bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle cheese over the top. Return to the oven and bake, uncovered, for an additional 15 minutes, or until scalloped potatoes are tender and cheese has melted. Scalloped potatoes serves 6 to 8.

IslamDoes Islam Come From The Decendants Of Ishmael The First Son Of Abraham by Cayon(op): 6:52pm On Aug 17, 2008
Ok, the Quoran was dictated by Muhammad but, according to the Quoran it did not originate with Muhammad. saying this, then obviously Islam began long before Muhammad ever walked the earth. . . . .hence my question "does Islam come from the decendants of Ishmael the first son of Abraham?

I knew, was just pulling your legs grin grin

By the way, I've been to churches that are full of gossipers. I try not to run. I turn the table around that is, when they start gossiping, I find a way to quote scriptures about gossiping. Ever liste to Dr. Fred Price. He has a sermon on Racism in the Church. . . . awesome. Plenty black preachers don't love him because HE SPEAKS TRUTH

There was a huge storm with a flood, everyone told John to get to higher ground but he just said, No, God will save me. The flood came up to his porch, and some men came by in a canoe and said get in, John, we'll help you get to higher ground. John just said no, God will save me, The flood came halfway up his first floor, a mortor boat came by and the driver said John get in the boat before you Die. John said God will save me. The flood was now up to the second floor and the coast gard came by in their cutter and ordered him into the boat, John again insisted God would save him. Finally when the flood was just below thepeak of roof of his house a helicopter came to get him. No John insisted God would save him. The next day John was dead and met God. Angrily he shouted, I believed! Why didn't you save me!? John,. God answered quietly, I sent a canoe, two boats and a helicopter
