Prayer to Be Forgiving If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained. Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. - John 20:23, Col 3:13 |
@poster: I'll keep you in my prayers Blessings |

c'mon Huxley give us time to breath. one question after another every second. . . . mon, I can hardly think. |
Growing up in a Christian home, I was taught in the eyes of God, sin is sin. Some even say that the moment you are born, you are a sinner b/c we born into a sinful world Let's look at the word sin first. . . . ."Sin" as a word, is actually a greek term in archery which means "missing the mark". so i am assumng that "the mark" is god's righteousness.Well, for those who don't think all sins are equal, well, guess what? all are equally deadly. The wages of Sin is death refers to spiritual death, separation from the Lord, not the punishment instituted by law, stoning etc. The good news is, once we ask God for forgiveness He forgives us and our sin, no matter what it is. Yippee Peace |

@poster I am not Mu$lim but I find it very offensive when I read what you wrote. I see you as a lazy thinker, ignorant if you will Does anyone realize that most muslims are peaceful people? it is just the extremists that cause problems (which can and does happen with every religion. Shall I mention the Phelps family and the Westboro Baptist Church to prove my point) may The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace. |
@poster: Offer him a Bible. Tell him everything he is looking for is in it. Simple!!! |
Ok, I am lazy today so no "fancy" cooking today Today i am doing PELAU or as some call it "Cook-up or "throw all a pot". INGREDIENTS: 1lb rice ½ lb chicken, back ‘n’ neck 2oz carrots ½ lb pigeon peas ½ lb salt fish 2oz green pepper 2 oz pumpkin (diced) ½ lb spinach (chopped finely) 1 bunch herbs (chives) 2oz onion (sliced) 8 cups water 2 tbsp margarine METHOD / DIRECTIONS: Soak salt fish overnight. clean and season chicken. cut up saltfish small and cook. Sauté spinach, carrots, pumpkin, onion, pepper, peas and chicken in margarine. Add cooked saltfish cover and simmer. Add washed rice and bunch of herbs, stir well. Two Horses Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each looks like every other horse. But if you stop your car, or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing. Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him. This alone is amazing. If nearby and listening, you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field. Attached to her halter is a small bell. It lets her blind friend know where she is, so he can follow her. As you stand and watch these two friends, you'll see how she is always checking on him, and that he will listen for her bell and the n slowly walk to where she is, trusting that she will not lead him astray. When she returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, she stops occasionally and looks back, making sure her friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell. Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges. He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need. Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives. Other times we are the guide horse, helping others to find their way. Good friends are like this, You don't always see them, but you know they're always there. Please listen for my bell and I'll listen for yours. "Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle." |
@ lady: I've never found any evidence to indicate that Jesus saw himself as God. In fact just this morning I was reading from John where Jesus is praying to God "Sanctify them through thy truth; they word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. , And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one; I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." The Bible do not teach that Jesus was God in the flesh. In the Gospels, Jesus refers to himself as the Son of God, not as God, and he frequently mentions and speaks with his Father, God. Jesus is always very clear that he is not God. In fact he rebukes Peter when Peter calls him "good", saying "there is none good but the Father." It was God who raised Jesus from the dead and exalted him to his right hand. Acts 2:32, 33 says: "This Jesus God resurrected, of which fact we are all witnesses. Therefore because he was exalted to the right hand of God." Also, the bible says that God has no beginning and no ending. Jesus had both, so he cant be God Peace |
i wish you Gods richest blessings and that you may find peace. I am going to bed now so good night and good luck ![]() |
