God is sitting in Heaven when a scientist says to Him, "Lord, we don't need you anymore. Science has finally figured out a way to create life out of Nothing. In other words, we can now do what you did in the 'beginning'."

Prayer for Anxious People

Your Word says an anxious heart weighs a person down, and this is how I think they must feel—as if they're carrying heavy loads, more than they can bear. When they feel upset and beside themselves, calm them down and comfort them with the assurance of Your love. Help them not be overwhelmed by anxious thoughts. (Proverbs 12:25a; Psalm 94:19)

Our hearts are not supposed to be troubled; but that's their struggle—help them trust You and the Lord Jesus, as I know they must. Help them understand that You are the One who makes a way when things seem impossible; nothing is too hard for You! (John 14:27; Isaiah 43:19; Jeremiah 32:17; Luke 1:37)

Help them be faithful to You and to the way You want them to live, for You guard the lives of those who are faithful; You protect them and never turn away from them. Help them know You as their fortress, as the rock in whom they take refuge, as One who is good, whose love endures forever, whose faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 97:10; Proverbs 2:8; Psalm 37:28; 94:22; 100:5)

Yes, I agree with you. As I got older I realize the healing effects of forgiveness; both for the one forgiving and the forgiven. This parable just shows us how great and infinite His Love is for all of us.

Try this with unripe or half ripe plantain.

Slice and put plantain to bake in oven. After baking, take a brush and glaze plantain with honey.

One of my favourite after dinner desserts is a banana fritter covered in tasty golden syrup

Banana Fritters

Ingredients:

1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup milk
1 egg
3 bananas, mashed and sprinkled with 1 teaspoon
lemon juice to keep from discoloring
oil for deep frying
confectioners' sugar

Preparation:
Measure, sift and mix all dry ingredients. Whisk together the milk and egg; add to dry ingredients. Fold in the mashed bananas. If too thick add a little milk, and if batter seems too thin, add flour. Batter should have consistency to mound up in a spoon. Heat deep fryer to about 375° or add 1 inch of oil to a deep skillet or kettle and use a deep fryer thermometer to check tempperature. When fritters will cook in 5 minutes, the oil is ready. Drop by spoonfuls in small batches. As fritters brown on one side turn. Drain on paper towels. Keep warm and just before serving sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar. Serve warm with syrup, if desired. Serves 10 to 15.

oh, I must add that my blood level is now 8, after Blood Transfusion (3 bags). Even though I am taking iron tablets, the Docs insisted that I eat healthy

A Koriean Nurse told me to eat lots of Liver and broccoli. The problem is. . . . .i don't like. Do you know of any foods rich in iron. Oh, yea, my mother say to cook green banana(ok with me)

that i am alive today after being told by the doctors that I was a "walking dead" knowing that my hemoglobin level was 5 and i was not feeling sick and none of my organs were infected b/c of this.  And they say "there is no God"  Ha, tell  them I am a living witness. . . . .  not once, not twice, but many times.

Jesus was babtized in the River Jordan. However, the bible does not specify the mode (how we should be baptized).  And being baptized in water is not what saves us from our sins. But it is a Great sign for other's of becoming a Christian.

I was amazed to discover the truths found in this parable of what happened to the younger son as God changes us. I hope you would enjoy it as much as I have puzzled through it (see link below).  Question: - Do you think the father in the parable is Our Father in Heaven
