Healing for God's Glory

Father, I'm praying for (name one or more) and others in my circle of family and friends in need of Your healing touch,

For these who are sick, have medical conditions, or have suffered accidents, I ask You to look upon them with Your mercy and compassion. I know our days are numbered and sometimes You have a different plan, but You have taught us that sometimes we don't have what's needed because we haven't asked, and so I ask for healing. May Your Spirit help me when I don't know what to ask, and above all, may Your will be done. (Romans 9:15; Psalm 139:16; James 4:2b; Romans 8:26; Matthew 6:10)

Heal those with the personal faith to be healed, and those whose friends who have the faith to ask on their behalf. (Matthew 9:20–22; 8:5–13)

If any are ill as a consequence of sin, I ask You to be merciful, to forgive and heal—as You healed the paralyzed man whose friends lowered him through the roof. Sometimes sickness or a condition may be caused by an evil spirit; if that is the case, set them free. At times disease comes as discipline; where that is true, I ask that in Your love and mercy, You grant repentance and healing. Sometimes an illness is meant to bring You glory; may it be so for these I'm praying for. (Exodus 15:26; Psalm 25:6; 2 Timothy 2:25; Matthew 17:15–18; Luke 13:11–13; John 11:4)

A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!" While she was running and praying, she tripped on a curb and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress. She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again. As she ran she once again began to pray, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late . . . But please don't shove me either!"

SCHOOL -- 1958 vs. 2008

Scenario: Johnny and Mark get into a fistfight after school.
1958 - Crowd gathers. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up buddies.
2008 - Police called, SWAT team arrives, arrests Johnny and Mark. Charge them with assault, both expelled even though Johnny started it.

Scenario: Jeffrey won't be still in class, disrupts other students.
1958 - Jeffrey sent to office and given a good paddling by the Principal. Returns to class, sits still and does not disrupt class again.
2008 - Jeffrey given huge doses of Ritalin. Becomes a zombie. Tested for ADD. School gets extra money from state because Jeffrey has a disability.

Scenario: Billy breaks a window in his neighbor's car and his Dad gives him a whipping with his belt.
1958 - Billy is more careful next time, grows up normal, goes to college, and becomes a successful businessman.
2008 - Billy's dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy removed to foster care and joins a gang. State psychologist tells Billy's sister that she remembers being abused herself and their dad goes to prison. Billy's mom has affair with psychologist.

Scenario: Mark gets a headache and takes some aspirin to school.
1958- Mark shares aspirin with Principal out on the smoking dock.
2008 - Police called, Mark expelled from school for drug violations. Car searched for drugs and weapons.

Scenario: Pedro fails high school English.
1958 - Pedro goes to summer school, passes English, goes to college.
2008 - Pedro's cause is taken up by state. Newspaper articles appear nationally explaining that teaching English as a requirement for graduation is racist. ACLU files class action lawsuit against state school system and Pedro's English teacher. English banned from core curriculum. Pedro given diploma anyway but ends up mowing lawns for a living because he cannot speak English.

Scenario: Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers from 4th of July, puts them in a model airplane pain t bottle, blows up a red ant bed.
1958 - Ants die.
2008 - BATF, Homeland Security, FBI called. Johnny charged with domestic terrorism, FBI investigates parents, siblings removed from home, computers confiscated, Johnny's Dad goes on a terror watch list and is never allowed to fly again.

Scenario: Johnny falls while running during recess and scrapes his knee. He is found crying by his teacher, Mary. Mary hugs him to comfort him.
1958 - In a short time, Johnny feels better and goes on playing.
2008 - Mary is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job. She faces 3 years in State Prison. Johnny undergoes 5 years of therapy.

Scenario: Jack goes quail hunting before school, pulls into school parking lot with shotgun in gun rack.
1958 - Vice Principal comes over, looks at Jack's shotgun, goes to his car and gets his shotgun to show Jack.
2008 - School goes into lock down, FBI called, Jack hauled off to jail and never sees his truck or gun again. Counselors called in for traumatized students and teachers.

there is a white piece of Sh** on my job always competing with me.  Her sick mind think because I am black i must not look/dress better than her.  The lady competes with me by actually buying the same outfit like me.  One day I wore a gray suit with a pink shirt inside, the next day she wore a gray suit with a pink shirt inside and said to me "look i have on the same colors like you?  Now the other white folks even noticed her personal obsession.  I think this particular lady is a white thrash.  Nothing more, nothing less. , some office gossip eh .lol

I have 3 words for you "you need jesus" .  On a serious note, you need to stop the "serial" dating and take some time off to analize yourself.  Get a piece of paper and write down all your faults and the faults of your many men.  If your list outnumbers your many men list, then something is wrong with you

olabowale:  I am lost in translation here, you may have to break it down for me.  I have never heard of unforgiveable sins.  You see, according to my teachings, In God's, eyes "All sins are sins, none greater than the others. 
The Human part of us may think that taking a man's life is a greater sin than someone stealing from the bank.  In God eyes, we both have sinned, none greater than the other. so if we ask God to forgive us our sins - He is going to forgive us (killer/robber)of our sins.

The Word Eloh, or Elah in both Arabic and Aramaic Means God. The Word Elohi, or Elahi means My God.

Same Meaning but use by people of different language/religion.

We are all humans and we are not perfect,. Isn't it wonderful that God is a forgiving God? That's why when we make mistakes (do bad things) we can ask for forgiveness. However, God is not mocked, for what we sow is what we shall reap.

Merciful God, I thank you for giving me the opportunity to face another day. I ask that You continue to bless my family and friends. Loving Father, my shield and my protector, I ask that you give me courage and strength so I may able to fight any evil that comes up against me.

No Male Pallbearers

An elderly woman died last month. Having never married, she requested no male pallbearers. In her handwritten instructions for her memorial service, she wrote, "They wouldn't take me out while I was alive, I don't want them to take me out when I'm dead."
