Yemzzyy: Seems fine to me. Question is whether it's for the uni or UKVI. If it's UKVI, once the uni has issued a CAS with that certificate, you're good to go. If it's the uni you are worried about, send like that if they want affidavit they'll ask you and you get within 24hrs from a court. No problems here 1 Like |

fificole:Thank you. But ermmm...not recently. I'm here engaging everyday. I even continue from the time I stopped the night before. Lol. The only person that mentioned foreign passport mentioned it about a week ago in saying that he and his wife picked up but the child's foreign one was pending. It was his post that got me asking o. I even asked immediately on the back of his "testimony". No one responded. This is my 3rd ask. Thanks a million! I'll use it like that. |

Hello my people. Urgent one biko. I used foreign passport for TB test for minor. I was told at IOM that it should be the same passport as will be used for visa application. Naija passport wasn't ready but it's ready now. Which passport should I use for the visa application? I recall that someone here said he used foreign passport for minor and hadn't got the minor's passport back from UKVI even long after he (OP) and his spouse got theirs. All inputs will be appreciated. Thanks guys |

Please I have a similar question. I have offers from schools in these towns/ cities: Coventry, Bristol, Cardiff and Kent. Leaning towards Bristol or Cardiff but I need people who know how far to help me rank the four in relation to jobs, etc since my spouse will be working FT. Thank you |

justwise: @Lizzyboss83 This is good o! if you still have time. However don't underestimate a properly worded email plus favour. You can even make the history request online, send the mail to the school and include evidence of the request in the email...That shows you're not hiding anything. May God guide you 4 Likes |

Lizzyboss83: Was a letter definitely issued? Do you have the passport with the refusal...the one with the line drawn and a handwritten number? If yes, please draft a well-worded email attaching a scan of the crossed out page bearing a reference number stating: 1. What you recall was the reason for refusal 2. That this is in the records of UKVI and therefore verifiable by them 3. That you will be declaring the refusal in your application anyway and attaching that same scanned page; which as in 2 above is something in their records, originated from them and verifiable by them. Hope this helps 1 Like |

decong: 1&2. I'll advice you to tell them you have your funds (send salary account and POF account) but will not be applying for a visa until xx date when it has met the 28day requirement. I don't see any issue because even UKVI accepts loan with consent letter. I just hope the POF cash was deposited before their email request came in so it doesn't look funny. I also hope they didn't specify 28day POF. 3. Student without scholarship as you don't have one at the date of your IOM test application. 1 Like 1 Share |

Ayo200: BA will be the most direct. Check BA...BA is British Airways, Britain's official airline...use flexible travel date option for your search and pick the cheapest. I've been seeing people complain about high fares from Lagos to Heathrow but idk if it will be the same for Lagos to EDI. If it is high you may compare with prices on travelstart (travelstart.com) which is the only agency I have used with 0 issues so far o I dunno if BA will let you see fare in NGN and pay with naira card or if you'll def need a dom card for it. I've had both experiences at different times. Travelstart shows fares in NGN and will allow you use your naira card. 2 Likes |

eyedd: What date was it printed? You can if it's not more than 31 days old, but priniting a new one doesn't affect anything. If you like print from that May 29 till date ....as long as the funds didn't fall below the required minimum you're good to go 1 Like |

justwise: As inn. Incorrect dey worry that post. The rule is that these 2 must be satisfied: 1. The required funds should have been in the account(s) for at least 28 days without falling below the required amount at any time during the 28 day period. At least means minimum. So if the funds are held for longer than that, no problem. 2. The statement which should already satisfy 1. above, should not be older than 31days from the date of printing, as at the date of application. So if you printed your statement since July 1st, it can't be used for to apply after July 31 or Aug 1(better to err on the side of caution and use Jul 31* as cut-off). In that case, you will need to print another one. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Fk1987: Your bank. The commercial bank you are a customer of. Walk up to them with your return ticket and passport containing visa and make the request -you'd ordinarily fill a form to apply. They will debit your naira account and give you the cash equivalent of the currency you apply for; USD or GBP. 1 Like 1 Share |
