Good one. |
Na dem dem. Just hit one jackpot, buy small IS250 or ES330 without prior driving experience or even a valid licence and begin doing formula one, kitikiti katakata big boiz on roads. |

FireTheSun:I'm sure @Earthrealm did not mean it the way you see it. And if not for your screenshot explaining things, I myself could have easily used the same word for you as an innocuous banter. Remember that English isn't our papa language. Ńa dem oyinbo force am on top us. uniqUN:It seems you believe all your gadgets will have surge capacity. But from the items you listed, none has surge. And @ bolded should be the other way round when loading two or more high surge gadgets on a single power source. You start with the item with the highest surge consumption, then the next highest and then others follow in that manner. Gadgets that have surges include HVAC like Air conditioners, freezers and refridgerators. Others are pumping machines and microwave ovens. uniqUN:Your charge controller was a good choice, although there are more premium ones capable of cutting a larger hole in your pocket. But for the price, PowMr does a pretty good job. In addition it will still be quite relevant in future upgrades which I am sure you will still do when your addiction to solar becomes incurable with use. As per your inverter, it is 12v and adequate for the listed gadgets. But have it in mind that it becomes irrelevant by the time you want to do an upgrade to either 24v or 48v system ecosystem. Your choice of lithium is also perfect. All the best. |
isangjohnson:The two will most likely have. But to verify, I will have suggested you get yourself a "wattmeter" handy for you to determine power consumptions right before purchase of not just your TV when you want to purchase it, but also any other electrical gadgets for that matter. For a rough approach however, to determine if a TV has power saving feature, on the remote control, go to the menu. From the options, look for "picture settings" and select that. Then look for either "Backlight" or "power saving" in the options and select that. You then adjust it, usually comes as 1 to 100 or as percentages depending on the manufacturer. 1 is lowest while 100 is highest consumption. What that does is to effectively reduce the brightness of the LED strip (for TVs with edge lighting) or LED back lights (for TVs with their LEDs at the back). This is similar to adjusting the brightness of a LED bulb where you can have a 50w LED bulb consume progressively less power as you reduce the brightness. NB: Do not confuse "Backlight" or "Power saving" option with "Brightness" option, the trio of which are usually options under picture settings menu. Adjusting the three also give similar result of altering the brightness of the TV screen. However "brightness" option does not reduce power consumption, the former two does. This is my go to website to get quick specs verifications for TVs. https://www.displayspecifications.com/ Excuzeme:The nameplate consumption is what it consumes at full blast. I guess your TV will have power saving feature which if activated will reduce to at least 55 watts. You may even achieve less sef. |
Sad. Good that dignity is given to the deceased by the using of body bags. I give kudos to Lagos for that. This is unlike the police where they stack dead bodies (both naked and clothed) at the back of their vans without the use of body bags. |
What is this dude's problem? He needs to seriously work on his anger management. What is difficult in beckoning one of the beautiful flight attendants and reporting the pest to her. It's either the man will be issued a warning or get moved to another seat away from Mike tyson. In fact in some instances, some airlines may decide to move Tyson to first class as a celebrity complementary gesture and compensation for being disturbed by the passenger. Na so hìn go bite Hollyfield ear chop am that time. I hear he has even started a fast food product called "Tyson bites", shaped in the form of an ear, I guess in commemoration of his ear bitting incident with Evander Hollyfield. |
dollarnaira:@bolded may be the benefit. But that experience I had was a terrible one. A supposedly LG UHD 4k TV with Bluetooth in the online specs turned out to find difficulty playing ordinary Netflix 1080p videos, network connectivity was a mess and online OS update was not possible because the board was not OEM. The one that came with it broke, but alaba board (the anytime any day available part) was probably fixed into it. If it's just to use basic HDMI, AV and RF functions, I may not feel it much. But in the light of being a heavy user of manufacturer's specs, local availability of replacement parts pale into insignificance. |
isangjohnson:Perhaps what you've been checking are Plasma TVs or LCD TVs. But then even LCDs have power saving feature. So what you first want to look out for is a LED TV. Then check if it has power saving feature (not all brands sport that feature). Most TV brands come with around the same consumption off the shelf, size for size. But with power saving feature activated, a 130w TV may reduce consumption to as low as 30w. |
dollarnaira:In Alaba, guys get broken LG TVs and swap into them new boards that are not OEM. So even if a particular model name is printed on the TV case and online check confirms the model no as legit, the innards may be quite shocking. This is common with LG TVs and I was once a victim with a supplier from Alaba. Though it was supposed to be tokunbo, but I am sure even supposedly new LG TVs too will have been affected. Fouani is the licenced distributor for Nigeria. They also get parts imported from LG and assembled here in Nigeria. You can visit their website. |
Perhaps a blackmailer called him that he was going to reveal a humiliating secret about him to the public. So instead of falling for a blackmail, he decided to disappoint the blackmailer. Just assuming sha. Sad. |
bbally:I think @ odinmambadi (hope I got the spelling right) sells inverters of this range that you desire. Look for the username on this thread. |
Sorry Nwannem. Manage it laik datu. |
MC Oluomo is the next "Minister for transportation" .............. If Tinubu wins. The agbero kingdom he established in Lagos will be replicated in Abuja and other major cities if the nation. |
It seems Buhari is deliberately doing all these nonsense in his latter days in office, things like upping the insecurity and granting pardon to condemned criminals, because he wants to finally put a nail in the coffin of APC or sabotage the already battered image of the party. Afterall the party was formed as a "union of convenience", because his real party (the CPC) had no shot at the presidency at that time. This will likely give PDP a shot at clinching victory and guess who will be the flag bearer in PDP? Not an Igbo man or Yoruba man, not an Ikwerre or a Niger Delta man, but a Fulani man - Atiku. At the end of the day, the Fulani agenda, Fulani action and attempted islamizatjon coupled with terrorism in the country by imported marauding Fulanis will continue. So Nigerians, shine ya eyes o. |
Not only putrid egg, the guy carry smelly sh1t join am. So much for being "Mr Now some Dundee heads are itching to vote for another Buhari Pro Max. |
Wàhálà wá ó. The US of A is still grappling with similar problems in Joe Biden. Nigerians should please not give us another Buhari for for years. The country can not survive a second onslaught. |
Michaelondon53:It seems you stumbled into the wrong thread. This is the thread you want to check out. https://www.nairaland.com/5266068/thread-only-aliexpress-shopper/842#5266068.26950 But if it is of any help, NIPOST bills you something they call "handling fees" for your deliveries. It ranges between 200 naira to 1k before your item is handed over to you. Speedaf express (an alternative to NIPOST) however delivers without any extra charges including stress-free, fast delivery, reason many buyers pray that the good angel speedaf be the one to handle their shipment rather than the headache-laden services of NIPOST. Wish you luck. |
truthbetold22:Haba! What warrants all the invectives nau? Sofry sofry Bro. No matter how emotional or justifiably angered we are about an issue, I believe producing counter arguments without use of curse words is what we should pursue here cos believe me, I didn't bother to finish reading your write up the moment I saw that your first phrase. I got irritated that I just had to jump pass. Sorry if that struck a nerve. JUO: You sef shock like say shey no be politics thread you enter. |
Wierd Angelfrost:For those that are somewhat discombobulated about how a wire got into his urethra, it is quite possible. The day I learnt that urethral sex (insertion of the pen1s or a form thereof into the female urethra dey just as anal sex dey, I weak masef. I had to research if sensous nerve endings innervate the penile urethra, that perhaps I missed out that fact during training. Sensous nerve endings jnnervate some parts of the anus, but for the urethra, walahi I'm not sure. |
OMG! This is Buhari 2.0 |
Please one president like that in West Africa needs cognitive examination. Not that alone, he also needs an MSE conducted, cos I can't understand why a normal president can be quiet when all his subjects are being kidnapped and killed by terrorists and he preferably refers to them as bandits. |
Hmmm. 99k, that was 2007, 15 years ago. But as it became apparent that security in this country isn't any more guaranteed, "japaing" became an attractive option. Even if you make 10 million monthly now, it only takes some kidnappers 12hrs to drain you of everything you have. That is if they don't take your life (kill you) along with it. |
isangjohnson:For 9ja, @ bolded seem to be far fetched with an always weak naira. Perhaps "affordability must have improved" will be the better phrase to use. |
How one person able to maintain multiples of ten, fifteen accounts on social media still baffles me. Una dey try ó. No be easy work, a swear.

Reddington: ![]() I wan make e be like say we dey side by side wey I dey explain am to you. That "subject to change" caveat is why I suspect they may peg it at 20 usd "in real life" even though in their app it is 100usd. |
Reddington:I saw that in the gomoney app. But I am wary of the caveat "subject to changes". I'm yet to use go money for any purchases though. Maybe my next purchase will be with the virtual card.

Etimocracy:Been an AE shopper for seven years. I made that error about two months ago, my phone screen actively being clicked by my pocket fabric. By the time I brought the phone out of my trouser pocket, "item received confirmed" was staring at me in the face. I just take am with strong mind say that na my fault and at the same time praying earnestly that the item, which was shipped three days prior, should arrive. Thankfully it did, via NIPOST in 2 months. So all yiu can do is wait and pray it has been shipped by the seller, and if shipped that it arrives safely. |
TruthUntold: ![]() As in the CC typed pidgin English? ![]() jboixxx:"LG" electronics ![]() |
softwareman:Ignorance is bliss. Out of spite, you ended up pilling invectives on yourself and not the man you aimed to vilify. I'm not standing brief for Osinbajo, but check the emboldened name: You ended up cursing yourself man! |
This guy does not look Fulani. Shall we now safely assume that the problem in the east is perpetuated by home grown disgruntled elements? Even though they may have sponsors that are outsiders. A proverb says that "without a crack in the wall, the wall gecko or lizard will have no way to enter". Another says that "the enemy is without/outside, but the betrayer is within/inside the house" Still another goes on to say that "if the death at home does not get to someone, there is no way the death from outside will have a chance" Please let these disgruntled elements declare a ceasefire for a while and have a round table discussion. Else, the full wrath of the people will be metted on them. Don't give your enemies (you know them but I won't mention names) a reason to invade your lands. |
