DOMINO001:An unboxing vedio would have been the best, but since you don't have that, a new video is what you can do. Thankfully, from your chat with the seller, he/she has partially agreed to a possibility of defect going by the response that you should make a video and send to him/her. So in the event that you decide to dispute, upload the screenshots of your chat with the seller alongside the video and emphasize in your comment that the seller has earlier requested video evidence which you sent to him. Winning is not absolute without an unboxing video, but I wish you great luck. But who get time to dey do unboxing video with every item sef? |
ewizard1:Barter had a system upgrade month end. They sent messages that there might be some delays with transactions between Thursday 31st March to Monday 4th April. The only transactions I've conducted within this period was to fund my virtual naira card and use it to fund the virtual dollar. I did not experience any delays beyond the ordinary. So maybe the upgrade issues does not affect them "collecting money but giving out money" ![]() |
genius43:Thanks. It requires an upgrade to tier 2. So I just uploaded the requirements. Waiting for the verification to be completed in 2 days. |
kayus621:How did you get th le card for gomoney? Hardware or virtual card? I just registered now but there is no option for virtual card like it is for Barter. |
Demaxl:In fact, I almost unfollowed the thread after I discovered it was "closed". Dragnet was the last poster and I guess he closed it when someone adamantly kept posting unsolicited adverts on the thread. I noticed a lot of deleted posts before the final closure. They must be the spammer's posts. Good that it's been re-opened though. I'd say it's great post monitoring on the part of the moderator. |

Keep this coming. These people should have nothing less than life imprisonment. A death sentence would have been appropriate if it was certain the governors will sign the death warrant. Eye witnesses and victims accounts of the kaduna train attack insisted the attackers were fulani boys between the ages of 18 and 22. This include accounts from Hausa and other Northerners that are close knit neighbours of the fulani people, so the question of mistaken identity/misidentification is out of it. Even El Rufai himself attested to it. |
However, on Thursday night, March 31, Mutisya booked himself into a room at a lodge in Mlolongo town from where he allegedly consumed a pesticide in what appeared to be an attempted suicide.I guess they don't have the sniper brand in Kenya. What they have is inferior. If it was sniper, his suicide will have succeeded. |

God bless you and may He bless your hustle. Igbos are reputed to be business savvy. If you can manage to save some money, start a business. Just don't mix it with diabolism and crime like some will do while using that business to cover up. Modified: But you made a big error revealing so much information in that picture of your resignation letter. The least you should have done is to blurr out your force/service number. Please take down that picture if you still can and rẹ-upload a blurred out one. The leaders BabalawoPikin:Is this a joke or sarcasm? |
Pictures or we don't believe it. It will be more believable if the headline was by Sahara reporters. |
Lies. Lies from the pit of hell. You failed to show pictures of the guy in cuffs, or even refused to put him in cuffs like you will do other suspects that aren't your own. Even simple mugshots are not available like you flood the Internet with mugshots of other suspects, yet you want Nigerians to believe you're not giving him preferential treatment in Kuje. Is the guy even in Kuje at all or he is in some secluded luxurious Abuja apartment enjoying the head of his life? |
vacettetommy:Care to share the processes and how it was addressed? |
SHINJA:What are you yapping about? Why d'you think the SE will have reservations anout this development, heh? I would have even thought you will mention SW or Northerners even though that doesn't make your statement right and patriotic. |
vacettetommy:In my own case at that time, it was a bad sensor along the exhaust. I also noticed that the fuel consumption increased significantly as the on board MPG display went down from the usual 15mpg to about 9mpg It was scanned. Two sensors, one in front and one at the back of the exhaust were changed and things went back to normal. On a second RX vehicle, the problem was not with the sensors, but a particular mechanism along the left side of the engine just visible when you remove the plastic engine cover. It looks like a lever that has a thin rubber pipe at one end. The pipe had inadvertently pulled out from the nozzle, exposing the nozzle tip and making the lever to pull back. The mechanic simply plugged in the pipe back into the nozzle and I could see the lever moved back to its required position which made the soot from the pipe to stop. I don't know much about this second issue, but the mechanic revealed to me that is a trade secret and a minor issue that they can charge quite a bit for. |
morikee:Please know that your "warning" did not force them to ship via speedaf. That choice lies with AliExpress. And you must have bought items from sellers located in mainland China hence the ease to use speedaf as the shipping choice. Try buying from sellers in Hong Kong and see what happens. The warning may not do as you wish. |
Babalegba:I was shocked seeing the circular. I mean that is the height of irresponsibility from any government. Its not even a final match but qualifiers and that nonsense was encouraged. It may be acceptable if this was done for the final leg match in the world Cup. And what came out of it Las Las, na shame. And of course it shouldn't be too surprising if examined critically. This is a government that has failed woefully in all indices and is recently under fire for the Kaduna train incident. So they, as usual, need a way to divert Nigerians' attentions away from criticising them to something else. For someone in the health sector I couldn't have left at that odd time even if I was in support of that circular. Xilsbridalhouse: I don't think we can blame Noobody too much. 9ja banks are outta dollars. Even CBN itself is claiming (which I believe is false claim) to be short of dollars. So how much more an individual like Noobody. E be like say this sapá na everybody the sweet go reach somehow somehow. The way it is going, I am not even sure the banks will have hard cash dollars to pay me over the counter if I decide to withdraw from my dom account. ![]() Politicians are stocking up on dollars ahead of 2023 elections hence mopping up the available dollars in circulation, in hard currency ó. Few days ago there was privileged info that Governor Wike doled out 50 thousand dollars to some politicians that paid him a visit from the South West. |
Deputy Governor? This life no balance, aswear. Why does it have to be a helpless citizen, and a doctor useful to the masses, that paid the supreme price when the deputy governor who is useless and who is part of those instrumental to the rot of the society gets only a gunshot in the leg? |
Story. This is something he will never think of doing last year or two years ago. So now because he is gunning for the presidency, Nigerians won't have sense again such that this cheap stunt at popularity he pulls is what will blind the eyes of reasonable Nigerians. Mind you, I am not talking of his own terrible, zombified foot soldiers, but of reasonable Nigerians. |
noobody:You truly understand the concept I have in mind. And your advice @bolded are quite important. I was doing what I did with assumption that whatever higher rate it is as at the time I want to sell back to them, they will buy at 10 naira less than the prevailing market price. But what stops them from buying it from me at 574 naira even though it hits 700 naira because I bought it at 584 from them in the first instance? I need to chat them up and know what's up. But the physical dollar route is what I have been doing hitherto and I only saw this barter way as quite flexible. Besides, I understand that as far as the bank dom account goes, I can only get back my dollars thru withdrawals over the counter because "the way I funded the account was thru over the counter hard currency". In fact they told me that I can't even use it to purchase things online. That's why I thought barter is preferable. Meister:I am still very inexperienced when it comes to coins and like I said here before, I have some challenges getting proper guidance even from those that are well experienced both online and offline. Today for instance, I physically spoke with a colleague to give me tips, but the response is not something encouraging. His response suggests I will be a burden to him if he is to teach me and I personally do not like people seeing me as a liability. I am actually planning on going DIY on it after a few online studies and researches, it would take only a few mistakes here and there which I hope will not cost me too much. The plan now actually is using a smaller percentage for barter while the majority still goes the way of dom account. But not on usdt for now. |
bodeface:Is it a bakery? |
mctfopt:I actually believe that aesthetics is a thing of a gradual process. But it also requires an innovative mind that is willing to improve. I remember my first near-novice solar installation. I only wanted to get tit to work and then I was happy for a few weeks that I have a working system giving me ample freedom from gasoline generators. A few weeks later and I begun getting impatient that I wanted more. And seeing some fine and aesthetic installs online, I begun to work towards ensuring mine also becomes "fine and attractive". Most inventions start out as crude and rough assemblage that simply serve as prove of concept and prove that the ideas will work. Subsequent iterations and versions come out with improvements in performance and appearance. |
Mhen, this barter is sweet o. With all the banks gone rogue with 20 usd monthly limit, I have suspended purchases on AE for now. Instead what I did was open a barter account and every single extra Naira I have lying around is going into that account changed to dollar. The rate as at today is 584 naira to the dollar. You might say that is much higher than the bank's, but of what use is a bank exchange rate when you have access t to only 20 usd monthly, heh? 20usd can't even get you a decent earphone on AE. So 584 naira being just about 8 naira above the black market rate, I have decided to have as much as possible changed to USD on the barter app and have it stocked up. The way the politicians are shoring up USD towards the elections, it may see 700 usd to the dollar. Few days ago, there is this privileged info that Governor Wike gifted 50 thousand USD to some politicians that visited him from one of the states in the SW, yes you read it right. 50k USD. At least I know I have not lost keeping things dominated in USD instead of in NGN. |
China already mulling bypassing the dollars in trade. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) already in talks with China towards stopping this use of dollar dominated oil trades in favour of the Chinese Yuan. Now it's India planning to trade in Ruppee-Rubles of both participating countries. All the three countries above, use the most volumes of oil worldwide. Remember that it was the 1982, Ronald Reagan tenure deal with KSA to dominate worldwide oil sales in dollars that made dollars to be strong, reason for the term "petrodollar". Trade your currency in most sought for commodity and see the currency gain strenght. That was why the US got rid of Saddam Hussien - he tried to stop the sale of iraqi oil (one of the greatest producers worldwide) in dollars. And Mohammed Gadaffi was also taken out because he once mulled selling Africa oil (by calling on Africa leaders) in Gold, which is abundant in Africa instead of dollars with which the US hold Africa to ransom. |
Ẹ no go better for the terrible leaders of that country Nigeria. You have no business riding okada. Where you should be is within the four walls of the classroom teaching literacy in English or at least making cool money from being an author or even an editor. I hope you have plans to either study further or at least japa to overseas from the clutches of those dealers who call themselves leaders, to a place where your knowledge will be put to good use of the society. Hah! Okada with this level of impeccable English you have? Toh! I rest my case. |
Meloski:Bro, welcome to the club. 10th of March handing over to NIPOST is like 2 weeks ago. Some Speedaf item NIPOST deliveries have taken up to 5 weeks after handing over to NIPOST. I'd suggest you wait a little more. But if you can't, you can use the opportunity to visit their office. However I'm not optimistic because they will most likely tell you that "your item has not arrived, you will be contacted when it does". |
Iceboiking:For someone new to the thread and possibly has not heard of "Noobody", he/she may assume this is a joke. ![]() Like "Nobody will at first easily believe that Noobody is a username". ![]() @Joered63, Noobody is a username. He is a member on NL and a regular on this thread. |
saint2ace: ![]() This na rude shock true true. But wait a few days to know that the tracking number is indeed aimed for your location, as in your town and not some other dude in Nigeria. It is also good that he used DHL because you are assured faster delivery than what you would have gotten with the AESS probably using speedaf. The only downside I see here is the potential customs fees, which may have been absent of it was Speedaf. Sha keep us posted ![]() saint2ace:Just be looking at them like a bat (In Fáyòșé's voice). Don't be far from the dispute button, slam on it (not click ó ) the moment you sense something going wrong,Although I'm still 80 percent sure it was truly shipped. |
gadgetplanetng:Bro, please let's not be prophets of doom. If such ever happens and I pray it does not, it is going to be a very ugly scenario and believe me, intense suffering for Nigerians. Remember, the plan to start such things for people sinking boreholes for home/residential water supply? Thank goodness that the idea somehow did not see the light of the day. |
Moneyboyz:Bro, if you can sacrifice that much for battery, then I believe you can give a little more for greater tweaks and monitoring convenience. Get wireless/BT BMS and monitors to have a live feed from your battery performance. AliExpress is a good place to start. And if you can get that much range with two passengers with this small pack, I can only imagine the greater rest of mind with another pack. You can have that installed or kept at home to be charged while you are away and do a hot swap each time you get home for any of the packs. Chai! A few times before, I had seriously thought of a line of okada or kèké business model with this battery powered runarounds ó. A line of such vehicles that you can rent out for users who come to give returns at agreed percentage. You know the patronage will be massive knowing fully well that they don't have to worry about petrol. But funding and especially Nigerian government policies, they are programmed to kill businesses especially ones that threaten their relevance. mctfopt:You took this right out of my mouth. But now that this has worked, he should plan for a version 2.0 with much improved features and great aesthetics. You Tube videos abound even videos of those that built their own bike frames from scratch. |
busuyi44:The ones I use are different. But I'll wager this one works as good as the ones I've had experience with. Plus this one has BT connectivity to phone and RS port for remote tweaking. abilityC:And risk getting prosecuted by the government for "creating a micro dam" and trying to create an easy life for himself and possibly open the eyes of other citizens. I don't think that option comes with the freedom associated with solar generation which has a much less, nearly negligible footprint on the environment. If no be for God, the government would have legislated to have all solar enthusiasts prosecuted except they seek operating licences which has to be regularly renewed. Then you will see them create a task force that will be invading neighbourhoods to check roofs that have panels on them. They will count the numbers of panels and use that to calculate the rough estimate you will pay. Failure to pay, you risk getting your panels carted away, while the task force operatives will auction them to themselves at ridiculous prices or to other buyers while they keep the money/auction proceeds for themselves. Some may decide to start making illegal money from there as they offer you to pay an off the record stipend for them to "look away" so that you get to escape paying for an operating licence or its renewal. Boom, another illegal money making rachet is created. You will also start seeing a few neighbours who will start ratting out to the government those in their streets that are installing panels. I can just think of a dozen ugly, discouraging scenarios that can crop up from such legislation.l, as far as Nigeria is concerned. And creating a mini dam is not as easy as it sounds. The finances, the environmental impact assessment of such structure and the resultant wàhálà from the government is not what one individual can bear, well except you are Dangote who is a government backed "businessman". |

), Tried to check the shop and it was no longer available, I almost shouted; I then sent Seller a message demanding why DHL and not ASS as I chose, and that he issued a fake tracking number, all I got was an auto response, seller didn't even read not reply message.
