BusinessMTN And Zain's Latest #100 Promo/lottery by cecegorz(op): 3:15pm On Apr 28, 2010
Hey folks,

I have a question for you guys on this recent plot by MTN and ZAIN to milk country pple of their hard earned monies
If you use any of these networks, you probably get at least 2 sms everyday asking you to send 'GO' or 'WIN' to their designated numbers inorder to win the days' #2m or the months' #10m. Each text actually costs #100 bucks

Is this actually a promo or a plain old Baba Ijebu lottery. Personally i see it as a lottery because you are not really buying any product unlike in 'recharge with Bleep naira and get yyy naira free'

I am just imagining how many free millions of bucks that are rolling into their coffers per seconds.

Another issue is whether they have authorized licence from the National lottery commission to do such

What do y'all think huh huh huh

For real your experience is in no way a fast track. May be i'll say it should be called an IDEAL TRACK, because that is what organizations are supposed to be in Utopia. That is proper recognition and reward for excellent service.

@AJ
you really mean from mgt. Trainee to Group manager huh huh huh what did he know?
How do you explain that? Is the guy the only grandson of the lever brothers' only grand daughter? shocked shocked shocked shocked

Office has been filled with mixed emotions since last week, mgt decided to release Bonus pay for the year, tactically used a graded appraisal score for the show and that knocked some folks out of the party while top scorers are enjoying their booties.
You know how it is, you can't really celebrate that much when you look over your shoulder and see a colleague in a pensive mood because he wasn't paid.

AjanleKoko:
As per your comments on the General Track, well, you may choose the field, but the job actually chooses you. Hence my reference to 'any available job'. Just like I would have loved to start my career working for Ericsson or Motorola, in some kind of R&grin capacity (baba nla wishful thinking grin). Instead, I had to settle for the closest available I could get. You understand what I'm saying
Yeah bro, But i want to believe that if the 'closest available' you got is still a subset of the original dream, i doubt if i will agree that it was wishful thinking because if you still have the drive to make a sustained push for it with the experience you've garnered over time, you might just still nick it. Never say, never.

AjanleKoko:
The fast track is never of your doing. In fact, if you've been on the fast track, don't deceive yourself, you definitely got 'unjust' help. Promotion is not only based on intellectual achievement, but more of true leadership qualities, which have little or nothing to do with how book-smart you are.
We got one in my coy as a Group head recently. Dude is just too young to be a GM and by the actions he had been taking since he shipped in, men, you will just know someone is beating the tunes he is dancing.

When i look at how people like Jack Welch led organisations by promoting merit and competence over cronyism, i just wonder whether it is still workable nowadays.
God fatherism seems to have been bought whole sale by board members from politicians.

tos:
Mind you, I am not suggesting that people should not take the fast track if the opportunity comes their way but it is not everyone that is cut out to do that.
Rgds
Thats what people will call favour bro, right or wrong. I doubt if anybody will rebuff an easy way up the ladder

I am attempting to resurrect this thread because am just seeing it for the first time and its an interesting one that need not die young.

Knowing that the OP doesn't have the final word on the definitions, i'll agree with folks that tend to morph one path into the other.
I actually am presently on the Personal track though i started on the General Track( how else can you describe a graduate that was on a 16k/mth. job and you get paid long into the middle of a new mth. by your boss dipping his hand inside his hip pocket to count out like 10k, then hand it over to you and promise to pay the balance on an unknown date)  grin grin grin grin  I still wonder if the man thought i was just one of his sons that he just gives pocket money  huh huh huh

But unlike the General Track definition by the OP, mine wasn't any available job because it was in line with my chosen career and i was even prepared to work for free just to get the tangible skills that i know definitely will begin to attract the benjamins sooner than later.true to my dreams/determination, i was there only 6mths before a bigger door opened.

I don't think that the fast track is really what you chose, rather it choses you because you are never in control, being that you are someone's stooge, irrespective of whether you are a whiz on the job or not.
A not too distant example is the Nicholas Okoye of Transcorp fame, dude came from nowhere to ascend the board of the company, only to clear out investors money on that bogey game with madam Ndi and OBJ.

CareerRe: Ericsson Moves To Sack Nigerian Employees, Hire Indians As Replacement by cecegorz(m): 1:50pm On Apr 16, 2010
Hey folks!

Welcome to the 21st century!
It's a new world order where the ugly side of capitalism has made a triumphant entry. Gone were the days when employers were patriotic, looking out for their workers and national well being, today all is blatant lip service  tongue tongue tongue

Today its only the balance sheet that rules. With all the Harvard trained crooks running most MNCs and investment banks, cajoling boards to approve salaries that can even buy up a small island for the top mgts.( you need to hear what they pay those Wall street and co executives), mindless profit taking is what mgt. are interested in, either by hook or by crook.

I have come to understand that no matter how much employees cry and wail, these executives will still continue to take these decisions because most of the companies the jobs are outsourced to are either theirs wholly or they have deep interests in them. when they outsource, the money is still channeled to their pocket
Believe me, that decision wouldn't have seen the light of day if the board/top management are not going to benefit financialy from it.

A simple example is the issue of expat coach for the super Eagles, NFF will always favor an expat to the detriment of the growth of the local coaches because contracts are negotiated in hard currency, and so is their kick backs. Have you wondered why nobody responded to Terry Venables accusations that he was asked to inflate his pay with a couple of million dollars.

Let's see how this turned out but take it from me, it won't be the last. watch out for the banking industry too. Some data centre operations of some banks will soon be moving to Punjab or Hyderabad.  sad  sad  sad

Ok, from what i saw in the episode of 11th April,

Chioma- Something is definitely, definitely wrong with that babe, if any polygamous man has her in his fold. that will be the death of the man, for sure. continues with her deep seated hatred (that she can't even cover up on national TV) for Muma Gee. went to the extent of saying 'she's someone i will like to avoid outside the show, i hate her, ' that was after Muma offered apology to the whole house and offered to do laundry for everybody. of course Chioma refused to bring her clothes.

Dare- The dude surely had his glory day. he must have done enough of those NYSC orientation camp stunts. he won the days rigorous task and was handsomely rewarded with a night outside the camp, accompanied with five star treatments (warm bath, sumptuous meal, sleep in warm bed and all that).

The Wierd one- Was completely out of the tune in the task, the 1st to lose out in a race where fat bum Princess also lined up. its hard to imagine but that was it. Eviction was in the card for her but was saved by the immunity she acquired the last time out

Muma Gee- The babe continues to impress with her bag of tricks, whether she was playing witty games with those folks or just being plane herself, she surely is winning hearts by that. Woke up in the morning and announced she was in a good mood, for a reconciliatory effort demanded house members to bring all their dirty laundry and she actually washed them all. later went down to the water and had a good swim.
There's surely never a dull moment with this 'celebrity musician' whom i can surely not identify a single track tied to her name  grin  grin  grin

Obesere- guys really need to cut the fuji man some slacks. his English is not really that bad as some folks will want to crucify him. after all y'all know his back ground. d bobo dey try joo. he was so excited and grateful to Gulder for the opportunity to do real rigorous task after seeing that all his jumping around during musical stage performances for hours on end were actually child's play compared to the jungle tasks

Showkey bobo - The guy no send you, just cook food and give him his share. nothing do you.

@AJ
Thanks or the mediation. I even forgot about it after i found out it wasn't on display.

You see, unfolding events have shown clearly that the Nigerian skilled workforce in the ICT/Telecoms sector are increasingly becoming endangered species. simple reason is that those job functions can easily be outsourced.

Someone may want to vilify India and the big corporations but i beg to differ.
India on their part is a typical case study in Pro-activity, they saw the future and prepared for it. today they are reaping not just from Nigeria but from all over the world, you need to listen to American worker's agitation to understand the toll on them too.

Also in the wake of the global economic turmoil, most corporations are fast shedding off excess baggage by excising most of the jobs that are not their core function from their payroll. It has been proven to be far cheaper and even more efficient to out-source as you can demand better performance from the consulting company based on the SLA. That is one good way of managing customers expectation without ownership of the risk.

Forget our leaders that keeps signing NATO treaties without reading the content like most of us click 'i agree' during software installations, nothing much can really come from their direction apart from signing away our future for the present pot of porridge in millions of dollars.

We, the professionals are the ones that must wake up and smell the coffee. Yeah, local content is definitely one sure way to go, More indigenous servicing companies joining the bidding process can help win the jobs for our dear country men.

I just finished discussing this issue on another thread about peoples craze for over-qualification b4 i saw your post.
The truth is that with your background, i doubt if you can get anything, not to talk of big job by spending time/resources on ITIL.

First of all, ITIL means Information Technology Information Library, a framework for industry best practices in IT service delivery.  In simple terms, it identifies modalities for practicing IT professionals in an organization to optimize the IT infrastructure to the benefit of the organization and it's customers.

Unless you want to branch into IT and dump your business skills in the mean time, you can see that ITIL will be another waste of time/resources for you.

We can't be surprised at the trends if we have a bit understanding of the prophetic.
'Knowledge shall increase in the last days' is a popular scripture.

Now, you can agree with me that with the emergence of so many fields/sectors that were virtually unknown in a couple of decades ago, there is a dire need for humanity to shore up their knowledge in coping with the challenges ahead.

After all, it was Albert Einstein that said 'The problems we create today cannot be solved with the knowledge of yesterday'

Its not really an issue for me if companies require professors to fill job openings, as long as it satisfies their organizational plans. what i'll rather want young professionals/grads. to avoid is what i call a looming 'qualification confusion'

Pray, tell. What is somebody with a degree in say, Economics, that has not held down any job since graduation and probably cannot differentiate between a Router and a switch doing with a combination of  CCNA, OCA, MCP, and is still eyeing JAVA certification.

I think people should learn to choose a career path and stay focused on it. Its a basic foundation

I don't know if one-man businesses play by the rules of Engagement in other climes, but in Naija, believe me, the boss is da damn king.

I've been there and i can tell you they can treat employees like s**t. And i believe that's one basic reason why their business gets buried with them immediately they die.

Imagine, your boss dictating to HR to cancel an approved leave? (hope they didn't withdraw the leave allowance) huh huh huh
In a corporate firm its solely an HR affair.
The best you can do is leave them with money and walk,  exactly what i did when my then first employer started acting up. if he sees me today, he will hide his face in shame.

Planned Offshore Outsourcing of Nigerian Telecom Jobs to Indian nationals in India – The Ericsson GNOC India Initiative! PDF | Print | E-mail
Thursday, 08 April 2010 06:12

Sir/Madam: We wish to inform you of a secret plan to off-shore jobs hitherto performed by able and qualified Nigerians to foreign nationals in a foreign country – The Ericsson GNOC India Initiative.

This job offshore outsourcing initiative is to hit the entire Zain Managed Services NOC (Network Operations), currently managed by LM Ericsson Nigeria and under the managed services contract engaged in August 1, 2009.

For the avoidance of doubt, Outsourcing simply means, the transfer of work, responsibility, decision rights to an external subject matter expert entity. Offshore Outsourcing is a brand of outsourcing where work is transferred to countries that are of considerable distance from the client. There are obvious reasons why organizations practice offshore outsourcing, some of which include lack of requisite skills in client’s home country, cheaper labour rates, etc.

Considering all known reasons that influence offshore outsourcing, no clear reason can be said to be driving the case of Ericsson Zain Nigeria Managed Services, other than the share greed of maximizing profits, and providing employment for the teeming Indian populace at the expense of Nigerians. As a matter of fact, offshore outsourcing, as planned by Ericsson, only obtains in middle-east countries, such as Saudi Arabia. The reason being that the average Saudi national doesn’t need to work in order to get the basic necessities of life and so is not affected by Job off shoring.

In early 2009, the management of Zain Nigeria decided, as a strategic initiative, to outsource its entire technical operation across Africa. The objectives were only known to the owners of the business, whilst everyone else was told about the need for the company to remain both profitable and to provide improved services. It is on record that most countries in Africa resisted this move by Zain. The plan succeeded in Nigeria and a few others where the home governments were aloof and insensitive to the effects of implementing such plans.

Looking at one of the reasons adduced for outsourcing, it is only the owners of the business that can confirm how profitable Zain has been, since the outsourcing of its operation to Ericsson in August, 2009. The profitability of Zain Nigeria has always been a secret only known to a selected few.

Also as far as improved services are concerned, Subscribers of Zain Nigeria, who are incidentally mostly Nigerians, are in the best position to also confirm the theory of improved services being bandied.

Where Ericsson Zain Managed Services currently is:

In 2009, Zain transferred about 450 of its staff to Ericsson Nigeria, to manage the Nigerian technical operation. These former employees of Zain technically became staff of LM Ericsson Nigeria. They were made to sign new employment contracts with Ericsson, and new Ericsson identification Cards were issued.

Since then, a number of Nigerians who are part of this number have resigned either out of frustration, or for other personal reasons, to chase other life’s endeavors. This implies that the staff strength under the managed services agreement is currently less than the initial number. There has not been new recruitment or training of transferred staff; rather the Ericsson MS management has been on an endless journey of continuously juggling people between functions (Transition - Transformation). While this went on, several foreigners (Lebanese and Pakistanis) were brought in to handle key management positions within Zain Managed services code named “Project STAR”.

A few have since December 2009 been secretly sent packing after the Senior Ericsson Management discovered these ‘experienced’ EXPATs were only increasing overhead and adding no value. It is worth mentioning that experienced Nigerians were deliberately not considered for these positions - A fast track to frustration of professionals.

Where Ericsson wants to be:

Ericsson, as part of optimizing operational costs, has perfected plans to secretly transfer the hub of this Nigerian operation, which is the Network Operations Center, NOC, to a Global NOC, known as GNOC, which operates from India and is manned by Indians.

Currently, a good number of Indian nationals from Ericsson GNOC India are in Zain Managed services Nigerian operation to understudy locals, gather all relevant network operations info from the locals and return to India sometime in mid April. It is after this information gathering exercise is completed that the Operations management off-shoring will commence (before 1st Week of May 2010). This activity is being carried out under the guise that the visiting Indians are in Nigeria to improve on existing processes and procedures while in the actual sense they are in Lagos - Nigeria on Industrial espionage.

Ericsson Management in presentation slides late last month explained the need to be more responsive to customers, remain competitive and by extension, remain the market leader. Staff were informed of headcount implications but never told that the affected jobs will be given to Indians in India.

Recent revelations from careless conversation of visiting Indians from GNOC reveal that that every function that can be performed remotely, through IP network log in, shall cease to exist locally in Nigeria. This simply implies that all those previously performing such functions will automatically be relieved of their jobs and the leftover (no matter how experienced) will be required to perform only physical and menial tasks. A job position they started off with in GSM over nine to eight years ago.

The question that Nigerians need to ask their Home Affairs ministry is –

How and why such a large number of young Indians were granted Nigerian visas without investigation / verification and what reasons were presented for the approval of these visas?

Implications of this Offshore Outsourcing:

1.     Nigeria does not have accurate statistics that captures the current unemployment rate in the country, but this callous initiative will definitely make this figure worse for Nigeria and reduce unemployment rate in India.

Efforts by successive governments to create employment opportunities have often yielded little or nothing so we cannot afford to further worsen the situation by carelessly allowing greedy organizations worsen the current unemployment rate in the country.

The management of the Ericsson Zain Managed Services in Nigeria under the leadership of Tahir Syed (COO and Pakistani ) is planning a massive 70% reduction in Nigerian NOC Operations staff headcount. This recovered 70% workforce is to be sourced and domiciled in India.

2.     Indians who will be provided jobs under the planned offshore outsourcing will certainly pay their taxes to their home government as they will be working from India. Indian economy will definitely gain from this revenue redirection. The impact on internal revenue base of state governments and the federal government of Nigeria is better imagined. States like Lagos state with a high number of working professionals will be worst hit.

3.     One of the Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) of every profit making organization is to give back to the community via the provision of employment opportunities to citizens of the host community/country. Therefore, an organization that operates in Nigeria, with its services patronized by Nigerians, and subsequently makes profit from Nigeria, cannot and should not be allowed to export jobs to other nationals, thousands of miles away.  It is quite worrying that Indians are at it again to shortchange Nigerians after the Vaswani Brothers’ years of exploitation.

4.     Many Nigerian families, who have bread winners in the employ of Ericsson Zain Managed services, will certainly live to tell the story (of the negative impact) this planned massive lay-off will have on them. Nigeria is well known for its close family ties that includes responsibility for the less privileged among families, both nuclear and extended. The irony of this business initiative is robbing one Nigerian family of a means of livelihood to pay an Indian Family in Delhi.

5.     GSM Technology is about Nine (9) years old in Nigeria and so experienced Nigerian professionals abound. The industry has in the last five (5) years witnessed personnel from the major GSM operators leaving Nigeria for Ericsson Contract jobs in several countries. However, with the Global recession and less investment by Operators in Network Expansion, there has been massive lay off of GSM technical professionals around the world especially those working for Network equipment vendors such as Ericsson etc. In such situations, a foreigner is normally the first asked to leave while locals are retained. The idea is that as a foreigner you’re expected to go back to your home country and apply for openings in your local Ericsson operation. The irony is that these same individuals and more are not considered for experienced positions in Ericsson Nigeria when they return. This job off shoring initiative will further worsen the plight of these individuals and other experienced GSM professionals.

Ericsson’s Responsibilities:

LM Ericsson Nigeria at this time should be asked to justify its planned action in Nigeria:

1.     There is every need for Ericsson to defend this sweeping change that will lead to massively lay off of Nigerians in its employ. It must state, in unambiguous terms, how this new strategy job off shoring will benefit Nigeria and Nigerians. Downsizing in the face of harsh economic conditions is a viable solution but taking jobs away from Nigerians and transferring these same jobs to foreigners in another country is questionable.

2.      Ericsson needs to prove beyond reasonable doubt that this is an inevitable end. By this, we mean the business can no more survive if jobs are not off shored to India.

3.     They equally need to demonstrate, unequivocally, how they intend to mitigate the effects of such massive layoffs on qualified Nigerians working in their country.

4.     Ericsson Nigeria needs to prove beyond reasonable doubt that this planned Indian Initiative is not meant to serve as goodwill gesture to the new Zain Africa Operations Owner Bharti India.

We therefore wish and hope that the Presidency, Senate, House of Representatives, State Governors, Judiciary, NCC, Immigration, Security agencies, Labour Unions, Press, Civil Rights Organizations demonstrate to exploiting forces that as Nigerians we can protect the interest of Nigerians. These stakeholders should provide hope for Nigerians and stop this foreign injustice from hatching.

Thank you and God bless Nigeria.

This is interesting.
IS ELIJAH BACK FROM THE 'DEAD'?

It is not news that Nigerians are very religious. When matters of religion are discussed, most often, the Nigerian is very cautious, maybe to avoid “speaking against a man of God”; or to “avoid blasphemy.” In such discourses, even the bluntest public commentator finds his tongue stuck. I am writing what you are about to read in my capacity as a Nigerian; a Man of God; a public commentator; and a scholar. I am writing as a man of God because I believe that I am one. I have not been appointed a Man of God by any man; after all, I am a Man of God, not Man of man. I am a Christian leader, a pastor, and preacher. I am also a scholar; and there is no contradiction. I happen to be taught in the word of God, and know enough to comment on the issue I am addressing here. I am compelled to write in order to save the simple the confusion caused by the recent visit on the ailing President Yar’Adua by some Muslim and Christian clerics. As a Christian, I shall quote some Bible passages to buttress some of the points I shall make.

It is not in itself wrong to visit an ailing man to pray for them. It is wonderful if the ailing has enough and correct faith to be healed. What is wrong, and even sinful, is when duplicity and falsehood are ignored by the religious as they seek healing for the sick. For months, Nigerians have witnessed and complained at the cavalier attitude with which the Nigerian first family treated them (and they are still being ignored). We were lied to severally; the stability of the nation was threatened by the negligence of this family. And I thought to myself; if the president’s people are claiming that the president was “recuperating”, “watching soccer”, “exercising for more than 20 minutes a day”, “walking around in Aso Rock garden, watching birds and playing with animals”, “taking coffee with cousins”, and “would resume work next week”, then why should I “pray for him”?

Truth has fallen on the ground in Nigeria! Even some religious leaders, to whom God has given the platform to rebuke, correct, and exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine have become pawns that can be used and dumped by people with no scruples. Let me tell a story from the Bible, which is similar to the Yar’Adua drama:

2 Kings 1: 1-8: “1Then Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab.
2And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.

3But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

4Now therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed.
5And when the messengers turned back unto him, he said unto them, Why are ye now turned back?

6And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

7And he said unto them, What manner of man was he which came up to meet you, and told you these words?

8And they answered him, He was an hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said, It is Elijah the Tishbite.”

I must ask Pastor Oyedepo, Pastor Obaji, Pastor Kure, and Bishop Onayeikon if they are familiar with the above passage. Here are Christian leaders who should know that there can be no mixture of faith. The first family has been reported to have contacted Mara bouts and Islamic clerics in their quest for healing for President Yar’Adua. The emphases of all those contacts differ. I wonder whether they preached to the first family Jesus, whom they are called to preach. I wonder if they asked the first family to believe on Jesus the Christ for healing. I wonder if their “prayer” for the president was in the Name of Jesus, or they “prayed” like some cowardly and undependable Christian leaders pray without ending “in the Name of Jesus.” I wonder if they can with good conscience claim that the first family had genuine faith in Jesus Christ for healing, given that they had also contacted Islamic clerics to “pray” only few days ago. Is a mixture of faith permitted by Christ? Were they not used? Did they go at the bidding of God; if so did they preach to the first family Jesus and ask them to let Nigeria stabilize?

The first family appear to have a multifaceted faith. The four pastors have brought public shame on the Christian leadership, of whom I am part. I call on them to repent and publicly apologize to Nigerians. Enough of public shame on the body of Christ! Have those four rebuked the first family for the role they have played so far in defiance of the constitution of Nigeria?

Is there no God in Ekron that the first family is looking to the ends of the earth for healing? If President Yar’Adua rises up from his sickness without a public apology and repentance by both the first family and those who have been used to deceive the nation, then I am not a man of God. In fact, I make bold to say that the recent act of using religious leaders to create impeachable webs of deceit and distract the present tentative leadership has broken the camel’s back. Yar’Adua may die in a matter of days.

2 Kings 1: 17: “So he died according to the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son.”
King Ahaziah died! If you read the verses between Verses 8 and 17, you will see that King Ahaziah sent to arrest Prophet Elijah. But fire came down from heaven and consumed the soldiers. The solution to Yar’Adua’s problem is not arresting or killing those who have spoken the truth; for that would bring the first family and their collaborators more disaster. They must repent. But I see the end very close. Nigerians, it is time.

TV/MoviesRe: Genevieve Hosts "Gulder Ultimate Search Celebrity Showdown" by cecegorz(m): 1:23pm On Mar 30, 2010
This show is really living up to its banner 'CELEBRITY SHOWDOWN'

Well, first of all i was impressed with the host/boss, ms Gene for her kits. she was really looking like a jungle boss! D'Banj must be having a real ball, u know  wink  wink  wink

Let's call it ladies showdown for now, anyway. From muma Gee's highly publicized ego to Chioma chukwuka's unnecessary bickering ( i really used to think she's well mannered), to Princess's lack of finesse, you get to understand why some of these celebrities may not really be good models for the young ones after all, because when you see them in their real elements aside acting, as the show is bound to expose, you will be disappointed.

I expect more shocking behaviors as the show goes on, Emeka Ike/Muma Gee is sure getting a kinda thing going on that may develop into full bloom as time goes on.

Dare is such a class act and calculated, always showing maturity in speech and deeds. am tipping him to give Bob a good run.

Yeah, Bob. what else do you expect from a serial host of the show, he knows the inner workings of the show already, the terrain are already a 2nd home to him, the way he insisted the ash looking dump must be a clue shows the veteran's instinct. Asides, his carriage, maturity, urbane nature surely gives him a head start.

The first day was so much fun folks, i wonder why Gulder is making this a sunday-sunday medicine instead of the usual daily affairs. Keep a date nxt sunday!

Em,  Oga moderator, it will be fun if this title can make it to homepage. ciao

Hey bro.,

I don't know the level of technical depth your auotmech has but i'll suggest that b4 you part with a dime, make out time to listen to Radio continental mon-fri @ 8:30am. It a 30mins weekdays prog. called automedics.

That's a bunch of professional mechanics with current diagnostics equipments. You can phone in your question to them for a proper guidance.

By the way, you have to be in Lagos to get the station, man.

All da best!

Now i know the reason why Madam Dora was given the Info. minister portfolio against all rational judgement at the time. God knows that such a time like this will come when a brave lone voice will be needed to counter the moves of these self-serving people.

However the enemies of state will want to present it, History will still remember that it was her moves, by raising a memo for FEC to consider the President's state of health/absentia that ignited the drive by the NASS to empower an Acting President.

There is nothing to fear madam, when Esther declared if i perish, i perish just as you have done, She never did perish, rather it was her enemies that perished while she was elevated. God will continue to bless you!
The Nigerian Nation is greater that any set of interests.
