So altogether on Compact now, you have SS9, SS11, SS12, Select1, and Select2

#Caveat: It doesn't include Champions League matches oo. But full EPL and La Liga matches on compact is a great bargain though.

The administration needs to communicate more. In my elementary knowledge of Finance and Investments, capital only goes to where there are less uncertainties. This government has practically relied on CBN monetary policies with very little input on the fiscal side.

This is why I strongly believe that in all sincerity, take away the wanton looting of money during GEJ era, in terms of fiscal economic policies and pragmatic ideas, they are light years ahead of this present crop of blamers!

It seems all the ministers in this dispensation only know how to blame the past for their incompetence, they can't even follow through and ride on the good policies that was already in motion before they came in.

The combined team of Aganga and Akinwumi were bullish about backward integration for Auto OEMs with incentives to set up manufacturing plants here, as well as direct delivery of quality seeds and fertilizers to the farmers, thus wiping out middle men that feed on round-tripping. We even started enjoying the positive effects of these policies, but now it seems all those gains are in reverse, you never see these current ministers engage those industry operators to ensure that they are still consistent on delivering on those promises.

We need to face the fact that oil money has dried up, instead of sitting down and wishing that crude will go back to $100/barrel, these guys need to improve on creative policies for boosting other sectors of the economy.

It was nothing short of a melodrama at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, yesterday, between State House correspondents and the Federal Government over the many foreign trips of President Muhammadu Buhari during a press briefing.
Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information, who justified the trips, said they were necessary to bring the country back on the track of development and growth. According to him, Nigeria was a pariah state under former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Journalists had waited patiently to be briefed on the outcome of the Federal Executive Meeting, FEC, which routinely meets to take decision on matters of government. As usual, yesterday’s meeting was chaired by president Buhari with his vice, professor Yemi Osinabjo and most of the 36 ministers in attendance. By a little after midday, the meeting had ended with the Minister of Information, Mr. Lai Mohammed, his counterpart in Environment, Amina Mohammed in company with Minister of State for Environment, Usman Ibrahim come into the press gallery inside the villa to brief Journalists. The briefing was reduced to a two item issue: Climate change and President’s many foreign trips so far, anchored by the Minister of Environment.

Done with the briefing, journalists felt that there were more pressing issues at the moment such as the fall of Naira and 2016 budget, amongst others which an important body as FEC should have dwelt on other than reviewing or deliberating on climate change.

Apparently surprised by the insistence and probing question, Information Minister Mohammed, said he was embarrassed and shocked, noting that Nigerians needed to know the benefits of the presidential trips.

Meanwhile, Vanguard learned that President Buhari is due for more foreign trips on Friday and early next week. He is likely to leave Abuja on Friday for Egypt, return on Saturday and leave for Saudi Arabia and Qatar early next week.
