PRYCE:Bhuahahahahahaa!!! You are too harsh bro. I was in Yankari about 10years ago! However, from the current pictures I've seen of the place, there is clearly no improvement on what was available then. Apart from the warm spring which is fun to swim and soak in during the cold periods, I can't say anything else is impressive. |
jaz:Your problem is comprehension, really. Read that statement again, but this time, in slow motion. |
AnnaKareninaFan:You can accuse Tinubu of all the looting, but you can't take away his eye for talent. He has brought many good heads to limelight in the public service. |
Ndlistic:The man in Zebra crossing shirt and suit though! |
All these jobless eRats have deviated from the substance of the interview, and are shouting Peter Obi and comparing governors. What has any governor got to do with an Enterpreneural Spirit that the man is trying to inculcate in the minds of our people? I won't be surprised that most of these political jobbers didn't even read the interview. #Rubbish |
joborskill:A poor man's trust is never needed when money matters are discussed ![]() |
talktimi:Mbanu! You only merge when entities are co-equal, otherwise it's outright acquisition, with the attendant sack of redundant staff. So, it's a question of Anambra acquiring Osun, while they send Aregbe and his band of ![]() |
I don't agree with your classification, So let me tweak it a little bit; 1. Your Lower class should actually be survivors! How can you term a family of four with annual income of N1m as Lower class? When a 3bed flat in any decent part of Lagos is now aprox. 600k/annum. Add school fees to the mix and the man is sweating by the middle of every month. This earner can only manage a mini-flat with his large family! 2. Your middle class should be the Lower class- Earning 2-6m/annum with a family of four can afford one a decent living, a good apartment in a decent neighbourhood, fairly good schools for the kids, Clean Tokumbo cars and a few change for fine dinning at good restaurants, but it will be hard to raise enough equity to finance your own home. 3. Your upper middle class, should be the Middle class proper - Earnings of between 10-20m/annum is about the range where one can at least enjoy some luxuries, you can afford to buy your own home/apartment, get the kids in a high profile school, afford family vacations abroad, brand new cars... etc... 4. Upper Class - Over 20m in annual earnings, these are the top management cadres in solid companies, Real successful SME business owners, he can afford a 5-6bed duplex at the Lekkis of this country, with the retinues of drivers and cooks; they are the ones 'chopping life', their earnings are already hedged against any form of inflation 5. The top 1% should be those above 50m/annum, top dog Enterpreneurs and the politicians, their lifestyles need no introductions ![]() |
Looooolllll I'm beginning to understand that Lie-More-Ahmed actually studied propaganda as a course. Whenever people want to complain about the utterly failing economy and the most ridiculous budget the country has ever seen in recent times, the EFCC will quickly arrest one person and get the Print media to scream one attractive defeaning head-line. Pray-tell, what else can an ADC tell us that will burn Nigeria, when we already have Dasuki, the NSA for months. The ADC is a mai-guard for the Oga, his signature cannot even approve more than N100k, so he should go and sit down. The only thing that is causing Nigeria to burn is the state of economy which is in utter disarray, and needs to be urgently addressed. |
PEPPERified:The bolded is hilarious mehn!!! Anambra, isi na ebu Ogidi! Anyways, this is a very good news for the country. What if we can add a cancer center there? And then another state sets up an equally good urology and kidney center, gradually we'll become self sufficient in health care |
adsonstone:Any proof to counter that? Perhaps a clip of the attendance register? |
I hardly know anything about the history of both kindgoms but this line of argument is very, very, very STRONG! “For instance, the one they call the Oba of Lagos, these are recent adaptations. In the 50s, there was no Oba of Lagos, what we had was the Eleko of Eko. That is the title of the King there. In Ibadan, you have the Olu Ibadan. You come to Abeokuta, you have the Alake of Egba land. You come to Oyo, you have the Alaafin of Oyo. In Ilesha, you have the Owa-Obokun of IIesha. So no Yoruba monarch had as part of his titles the word Oba except the Oba of Benin. “That word Oba is indigenous to Benin. It is only in recent times you find everybody bearing Oba. When the Western Regional conference of traditional rulers took place in Benin City in 1942, go and check the attendance, there was no other monarch in the whole of the Western Region then that bore the title of Oba, except the Oba of Benin. |
Destined2win:You are absolutely right bro. Unless Adeboye went to preach to him to forsake the yoruba gods, burn all the fetishes and paraphernalias in his possessions and FOLLOW CHRIST. |
Swissheart:My dear, this was a pre-meditated murder. Even if the dude didn't return to the house that night, he may just buy a few more days. The lady is a cold-blooded murderer. It's different if they had fisticuffs and she reacted in the spur of the moment. Pray, never to have any dealing with a maniac! |
banmee:Guy, why it is clear that this is a known medical condition. What I found baffling is that almost all the reported cases in Nigeria are always people in adulterous relationship. How come it doesn't happen between legal couples? |
sapiosexual1:My brother, you are still using a very wrong and unrelated premise for your analysis. People acquire telephones and it stays with them for a long time. On the other hand, Kids are born on a daily basis across the country and as they grow, they all get enrolled to nursery through to primary and then secondary schools. Going by the 'official' population statistics in the country, you will expect SS and SE to have the least number of population compared to the other regions, so if by the time the kids starts registering for WAEC, official data shows that the least populated regions are producing higher numbers of WAEC candidates, it is easy to infer that either there were massive drop outs of kids in the other regions, or that most of those kids were never even enrolled in schools at all, as it is presently happening in most Northern states. It is a burden for all of us, because an uneducated populace today is a massive burden on the country tomorrow, we must all put heads together to ensure that we achieve over 85% literacy rate, and not use excuses to dismiss a looming time bomb. |
Oblongata:Yeah, graduates are products of moto parks right? No need to take WAEC before becoming graduate. ![]() |
sapiosexual1:What a funny analysis you just ran here. You mean SW parents has acquired enough education so much that their kids no longer need to enroll in schools? How do you get to a plateau in school enrollment? It will really be hard to imagine you being part of any state policy making arm. |
GAZZUZZ:You seem to have missed the point. The new battery was also draining away within hours initially. Trust me. The issue is FIXED. |
All right guys! It's about two weeks now, and I decided to really give it time before dropping another feedback. I want to say firstly that the issue NEVER happened again, and that battery has been performing top-notch as it used to be. While I will say that the Rewire didn't actually pi-point the actual culprit, and couldn't say for sure if the issue was fixed, but his trouble-shooting actions was very much standard procedure. I watched a youtube clip on parasitic drain diagnosis, and it was exactly the same process, the only difference been that instead of using an Ammeter that can read slight differentials in current, he was using a pen bulb. I want to assume that while he was flipping ON and OFF various components switch, he unkwowing fixed one of them which was probably stuck in an ON position. So, the good news is that I have been enjoying my ride ever since. cc: ZIMDRILL, GAZZUZZ |
They said firstfruit belongs to the PRIEST alone, so you must give it to the PRIEST. (old testament injunction) Then I looked into the scripture and discovered that the reason was because Levitical priests owned no single meter of land, so they cannot farm for themselves, therefore God commanded that the first and the best fruits be given to them by all Isrealites as their own inheritance. Then I asked myself, after the abolition of the Levitical Priesthood as signified by the curtain to the holy of holies tearing from top to bottom the moment Jesus died, did any of the 12 Apostles or other succeeding disciples preach firstfruits? Nah! Then again I asked the scripture, who is the the new testament Priest, and in Rev.1vs6 he said ...'And hath made US KINGS AND PRIESTS unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen' (emphasis mine) So, you see, WE ALL ARE PRIESTS! Don't let anybody fool you. When you check your today's Pastors accumulations, they definitely have far more landed properties than you can even imagine, so who should pay firstfruit to each other now? Be wise, brethren! |
Really?, Oba Akran of the popular avenue in Ikeja looted roughly N2bn in 1967! ![]() Waaaawuuu! So, is he a traditional ruler, or Oba is just his first name? Meanwhile that Oba Akran Avenue should have been renamed immediately in the 70s, this idea of celebrating thieves seems to be in our DNA. |
bloodyBLOGGER:My brother, these Ohaneze elders are bunch of opportunistic 1diots! I heard Amaechi clearly on TV once denying his Igbo ancestry while asking rhetorically 'Are we now Igbos'? to his kinsmen in a gathering during GEJ got. This award is stupidity of the highest order, they can as well give it to FFK next year, after all he''s been defending Nnamdi Kalu and IPOB. Nonsense! |
Interesting. Freeze actually made sense this time around. |
UPDATE! UPDATE!! I got a Rewire yesterday who came in with one pen bulb with cord, so we pulled out a good battery from another car and kick-started mine, he connected the pen bulb to one of the battery terminals and the bulb came on. I expected the dude to come over with a Voltmeter and take readings from some terminals, but he never did. (This is Nigeria where we test live cables with tongue) ![]() He said normally the bulb should go off after a few mins if all connections are in order, but the bulb kept beaming. So, he opened the fuse box, started yanking and replacing the fuselage one after the other, while watching to see when the pen bulb will go off, eventually the light never went off. He advised that I'll need to bring it down to his workshop for a comprehensive scan today, as the preliminary checks didn't turn up any issue. Later he removed the battery while the engine is still running and installed back my battery allowing it to charge up. As my battery charged up, he shut the engine and removed one of the cables (to avoid draining again) on the advise that when I'll leave in the evening, I'll replace the cable and then drive home. I was supposed to repeat the cable removal process when i get home in the night, and replace in the morning to start. So, in the evening I replaced the cable, cranked the car to life and went home, but I deliberately didn't want to remove the cable again. I was preparing for another drama in the morning but surprisingly, when I cranked it, the battery was alive to it's duty and the engine came on immediately, so instead of going to the Rewire's workshop, I went to the office straight. As I parked, I still didn't remove the cable, just trying to see if it will drain again. I just went to the car park now, and checked again, cranked and the car came alive! I guess I can now assume that the world peace has been restored? P.S. I called the battery dealer to keep my old battery for me, as I can see from these outcomes that the battery is still in good condition ![]() cc: ZIMDRILL, GAZZUZZ |
Frankdamaxx:DON'T! I tried this with my Highlander recently, and the outcome wasn't pleasant. Mobil 20W50 has been my regular for all the cars rated 5W20, so as I was buying fuel at a Mobil station, I spotted the 5W20 and i was excited to use the OEM recommended oil for the first time in Nigeria. I bought it immediately! On my next oil change, I took it to the mechanic and did the service normally. Just about 3 weeks later, I noticed that the oil has dropped from the dipstick! The mechanic advised that I should topup and then watch it again as there was no leakage anywhere, I did and the shortage continued. So the mech advised that I go back to the old grade, and that was how the shortage problem disappeared. I never went back to OEM grade! |
Guys, I am having this parasitic drain issue right now! Car is 2003 Highlander V6. I packed the car yesterday morning and after switching off ignition (leaving the radio ON for like 3mins), I noticed the Radio audio deteriorating gradually, and the inner light too waning. So I switched off the ignition completely, then ON again but the battery gave those krrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound. I said OK, maybe the battery is dead, having used it since it came in the car some 2 years ago, I called a battery dealer who came in with a new battery and installed it. Powered it ON and it responded one time with no hesitation, so without driving the car again, I shut down and went back to the office (that was around 12noon) Then as I closed from work, I got to the car around 6pm to joyfully drive home, only to notice firstly from the remote key that the response from the car to UNLOCK the door was very very slow, so I opened the door, slotted in the key to start and the brand new battery gave NO RESPONSE! As I tried starting, all the dash lights, inner lights, just dimmed and went off! Please who can help trace this parasitic drain, I don't want all these Lagos rewires that use teeth to cut and join wires all over the place. |
GMartyns:Dude, this is my very sincere advise. First things first. Move out of that house this very January! At 30! you shouldn't be living with your parents, not to talk of your brother in law, it's very degrading and takes away every dignity from you. During my youth service (at a very much younger age), I made up my mind that I wasn't going back to 'our' house until I get my own apartment. So after the youth service, I moved in with a friend, with that determination to be a man of my own as fast as possible. There I was when I got a job and moved into my own house. Secondly, your sister chose whom to marry, allow them to marry themselves, she obviously knew he was lazy and jobless and still married him, you can't change him in his own house. The only time you need to step in there is if he abuses your sister in a way of domestic violence, in that case I can even help you to beat the day light out of the guy's eyes. |
Hahahahahaaa... So Baba Falae, with all the pity I had on him during his kidnap saga, is actually one of the ELDERLY GOATS eating our precious yams. Anyway, i hope he knows that goats eventually end up in pepper soup pot? In the first place how can his party not be aware that PDP gave them money to campaign for them? Is Falae the only person that holds all the executive positions? Was the money paid into the Party's account or to Falae's personal account. If it was in his personal account, then, he is a confirmed yam eater, and must face the music!. |
DonUjay:My brother, our country is a big fat joke. I am so ashamed of myself as I read this, we are planning to manufacture PENCIL (molten lead in a stick casing) in TWO YEARS time, and the minister is announcing it like other countries announces manufacturing of rockets and nuclear plants. |
Ebony state Government donated truck loads of rice to some Northern states but can't donate common shuttle bus for the use of the airport? SE governors can do this as their own contribution to the project. Just cross over to Innoson''s office at Emene and tell him to supply 2 or 3 low bed shuttle buses. Just chicken change |
Always showing the light!
