Ebynwa5: Nawa oo, newly born baby with two healthy teeth... God we ask for ur mercy ooo. Strange stories everydayJonathan Wyllie, consultant neonatologist at James Cook, said: ‘It probably happens about three times every two years here and we deliver 4,000 babies a year. It’s every 2,000 to 3,000 births. ‘Babies are born with one or two teeth and it’s usually in the lower gum. How strange is that? |
The Olu of Warri messed up by undermining their cultural heritage. A traditional ruler ought to be the custodian of the culture and tradition of his constituents. He should have simply abdicated the throne if he felt negatively about veneration of their deity. That "Born Again" syndrome at work. |
Imanuelle: You found ID cards?Yeah, true. Gunmen now move around with ID cards? And drop them at the.scene of crime? Laughable I must say. |
I no even like kpomo before sef. Our potential leather industry ending up in the stomach. |
Hiroshi Yamauchi, the Japanese businessman credited with transforming Nintendo into a world- leading video games company, has died aged 85. Mr Yamauchi ran the firm for 53 years, and was its second-largest shareholder at the time of his death. The company confirmed the news in an emailed statement. A spokesman said the firm was in mourning over the "loss of the former Nintendo president Mr Hiroshi Yamauchi, who sadly passed away this morning." He died of pneumonia at a hospital in central Japan, the company said, adding that a funeral will take place on Sunday. Mr Yamauchi ran the company from 1949 until 2002. In that time, he took what was a small-time collectable trading card company and built it into one of the most recognisable - and successful - video games brands today. www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-24160150 |

geeez: There's more economic activity in Osun State than a lot of states in NigeriaParanoia? |
Onyegecha: Why? This is injustice. They should stop forcing people to accept vaccination especially when there is a strong indication that there's more than meets the eye with these 'free, by force' gifts.were you vaccinated? I guess yes. How would you feel if your parents had refused to vaccinate you and you ended up physically deformed? I don't think you'd be posting such here. if they can make yellow fever vaccination compulsory for adults before travelling abroad, then they shouldn't deny innocent kids. |
I've seen an IMSU student with such card two years ago...... |
senbonzakura_kageyoshi: dedicated cracked fanaticGreetings from a fellow CRACKED head!! Man, that traditional marriages article in cracked was epic. |
Konjour: For someone who's not really a business expert like me, its hard to see the rationale behind the Blackberry company licensing its major pulling power to other platforms. It would invariably draw more users in their millions back into the BBM sphere, but it would definitely affect the ever fledgling Blackberry smartphone sales negatively cuz I can't imagine myself still using a dead-pan Blackberry phone with its relatively sluggish and antique OS and processors when there are better phones whose processing speeds, battery life and screen sizes are of behemoth proportions, and to make issues worse, able to connect via BBM. I'd be surprised if the Blackberry company don't stop manufacturing phones altogether soon. They have probably sold out their last bargaining chip.Actually they're considering spinning off bbm as a separate company. Definitely RIP to blackberry hardware. |
Chloekim: Guess it will be exciting for you guys on android but wait what is the use of BBM when I have whatsappYeah, considering whatsapp has hit 300 million users while bbm stands at a paltry 60 million worldwide. |
Theory?? Bullshit.. It's more of a vaguely basic analogy. A primary school pupil could come up with that. |

Guess the university in the North referred to is AUN,.. Is he implying Atiku could stoop so low? |
dasparrow: @Postvery objective post you got there. You've migrated and gotten your experience. Anyone that wants to migrate is allowed to attempt too. Experiences differ. |
Muscomide: I do not doubt that Nigeria is a bundle of anomalies and contradictions. However, no one is going to spoon feed you. We have to seize the bull by the horn. If our so called indigenous engineers prove themselves, they will not be supervised by foreigners in their own country. I continue to maintain that it is our collective duty to develop our own country rather than this foolish urge to travel out. Just the other day, a video was posted of Nigerians perishing in the Sahara whilst trying to emigrate to Europe. Are we so hopeless as a people? Our population is half of USA's, landmass is 1/10th of USA's, Population density is 5 times more than USA, hence we're relatively over-populated. If a couple of thousands of people move out,, we still have enough hands in the country- millions of idle youths. The problem is the induced disorientation. If there's an opportunity to go where your intellect and skills may be appreciated, I believe it's anyone's God-given right to go there. Major historical world events were actualised by migration. If the British and Portuguese decided to stay Home, we may not have been "civilised" by now and they wouldn't have gotten the resources needed to further develop their place. No nation is an island, and definitely not Nigeria that hasn't even started any significant developmental process. |
Muscomide: Who do you expect to develop Nigeria for you??I keep hearing that crappy question. How many engineers have we churned out from our schools? Why is it that we still see minor and major road constructions still being supervised by foreigners after decades of churning out engineers? We're not given the chance to develop and individual efforts can only scratch the surface if the govt and society at large don't support innovation, research and development. We keep celebrating Nigerians excelling in Harvard et al. but can't provide them with requisite infrastructure to transfer the knowledge down here, and you expect them to return Home? One dude was condemning Philip Emeagwali for not coming Home to assist. Is any agency here ready to give him hundreds of millions of dollars of funds for his research here? NO, of course. And he's promptly relocated 35 of his family members from this wasteland.. |
Burger01: Believe me some Nigerians are just hopeless. They forget that there is no place like home and wherever one is one is still regarded a Nigerian. There is nuffin in usa except you don't say the truth. I do my hols yearly in Massachusetts and I tell you people suffer in that place. Lottery my foot. It's just a slavery system that most people shy away from this reality..Believe me, if more Nigerians were comfortable enough to afford vacations in Massachusetts, the desperation won't be so much. |
hammedkola: Firstly, it was British £3,000 bond fee,THEORY.... |
manny4life: Dude needs serious reality check, can you imagine, with $10,000 he will live better than someone who earns $1million in Nigeria, tell me this isn't slave mentality talk?Guy, get the $1 million first na.... |
innokings: no place like home broda and sister. right now am South Africa de cost living here is very high, am workin here do u knw much dey pay me month is 1200ran dat's 24000 bt do u knw de funny thins here, my house rent will eat de whole money every month which cost me 750ran dat's 15000naira now tell me hw much is saves after eatin nthing, pls dia's no place like home.We dey talk of Yankee here,,not Kwazulu natal... |
3ace: I agree with you but that still doesn't remove the fact that our minimum wage is paltry and needs to be increased. Our minimum wage is subhuman... |
Dannylux: Home is home. Even if I'm given the opportunity to travel abroad and eventually become successful, nothing will hold me from coming back to Africa!!Until you go there, don't conclude. |
speedyboi: Maybe Government should also make our minimum wage 1,000,000 and impose crazy tax on us, Triple PHCN bills and make sure people pay them (not direct connection guys), triple water bills, impose insurance, medical cards, etc on us, imposing heavy payments for difference kinds of unlawful acts (road offenders, Noisemakers, indiscriminate killing of animals etc...) and so much more!Enjoying? When the govt has virtually left everyone on his own. You can't have your cake and ear it. You're enjoying state of the art amenities and infrastructure in say, Amsterdam and you expect it to be free? Do people there have to dig their boreholes to get water? Do they have to "mobilise" police officers with cash before they can effect arrest and press charges on someone that robbed them? You think the taxes are for nothing? Would you rather not pay tax but carry jerrycans of water on your head every morning to fetch water hundreds of meters away? Ask any Nigerian living in any industrialised nation if he ever had to bribe an officer before his complains were looked into? We're not paying much taxes, mainly cos an average Nigerian is a tax defaulter, but we're also enjoying zilch benefits of taxation. That's an anachronism in this 21st century. |
stagger: You can make N8 and spend N3, leaving you with N5 (Naija).Yes, minimum wage anywhere is minimum wage, but can you compare the standard of living of a minimum age earner in Nigeria to one in America?. Believe me, many Nigerians abroad remitting cash for fees and rent for their folks in Nigeria are earning barely above minimum wage there . Can a minimum wage earner here sponsor anyone in school comfortably? |
I don't go to romance section, don't dare click any Tonto Dike thread nor any new musical single release thread... What am I? |
Paparazzi, my lanky A$$... |
Crap crap... Let's play with numbers a Lil... There are 12 months a year, 7 days a week . with 1/7 chance that the 13th of any given month will be the Friday, that gives (1/7 x 12) = 1.7 "Friday the 13" days in a year. So in a year there are max 2 and minimum of 1 of such days. Now the probability of being born on a Friday the 13th is roughly, 1.7/365 = 0.466%.. With like 7 billion people on earth, it means 32.6 million of them were born on such day worldwide and 745,000 in Nigeria. Why am I even calculating this? As I said it's all ClownShit |
