We didn't always have it this good. We started with Mbadinuju were school children spent almost 2 years at home due to strike. Bad roads was the other of the day then. We moved to ngige, things were better , but imagine a sitting governor being kidnapped? Then Peter Obi , his impeachment, and having Andy Uba as governor for 2 weeks. Then, the first female governor In Nigeria, and back to Peter Obi. Was not an easy road, but we thank God

I ve learnt that quality and cheap cannot be in the same sentence. I will rather pay a tailor with integrity higher. As we can can see , integrity is a scarce commodity in this part of the world .

I'm at Tailor. And the attitude of my fellow tailors is very annoying I must say. But I ve come to understand that it's not about the job, but the personality of the people doing the job. Pls, don't paint all tailors out there with the same brush. Some of us still have integrity. Thanks

That's quite interesting. I probably do not know Onitsha dialect the way I think I do. There used to be slight difference between Enugu and Onitsha (city) dialects but these days, it's virtually the same only that Onitsha has more slang and flavour that gives is that "swag".



Ndi Agbenu are Anambra people that may include Oji in Enugu while Ndi Wawa are Enugu people, though both terms are archaic now.

Mind you, the whole of Anambra is not agb'enu. We also have the adagbes who make up the omambala area of Oyi, Ayamelum, Anambra East and West, and some parts of awka south

I hope they do. My parents moved us to Lagos when I was eight. I'd love to visit Enugu and re-live some of my early childhood memories. I attended NAOWA, the army children's school and Independence Layout Primary School.

This is very nostalgic. My siblings all attended NAOWA , command children school and command day secondary.
I attended police children school and HRC at Uwanì..

I was born and spent the first few years of my life at Abakpa, Asata Street to be precise. Thereafter, we moved to Trans-Ekulu. It would be so nice to visit and see what the place looks like now.

I was born and breed in Abakpa. Ugbene precisely. Nothing has changed , except for the new areas around Nike Lake joing to trans ekulu. The Enugu state government need to rehabilitate and build new roads in that area
