The free movement of citizens was impeded for the electoral purposes of the pdp. Roads were blocked and selective access given in favour of the pdp. The airport was blocked for the same purpose. Stop trifling. Where was your purported breach of the peace in all this?
Btw, a breach of the peace is an act/action, a person cannot be considered a 'breech of the peace' as you put it

Most of the idiots denying the authenticity of the recording have not even bothered to listen to it. Inside of three minutes I had identified Koro and Fayose. The details in the recording are beyond faking and the style of the meeting, with all the pressure on the army is just scandalous. And all this as Koro maintains in the recording is approved by the oga at the top, Jonathan. Our hood 'christian' president. I hope Oyedepo is now proud of him, as well as Oritsejafor. This can easily be achieved by PPP, Apc states are doing fantastic in this area. I dare say no other state has built more houses than Lagos state, not even the federal government.

I love the way you break it down. I'm very much concerned that the kind of houses built must be tied to the ability of the average worker to pay for it over the course of 10-15yrs. A decent 3bed flat should not cost more than N2.5m and the development of a serious mortgage banking industry (as well as a reformed legal framework to make transfers, repossessions etc easier and more cost effective) will have a multiplier effect not just in the economy but socially too. In most sensible economies businesses can rent a place month by month or for 3 months at a time so they can free up capital to invest in their primary purpose. If they prosper, jobs are created and if they fail the impact is more limited. The first hundred days plan already envisages lowering the cost of forming a limited liability company, so more taxable entities will arise further stimulating the economy.
Of course I'm fairly certain that the new government will need to look at the state of government finances before juggling it's priorities, but this plan is more praiseworthy than anything I have heard from the pdp camp. It is good that the APC has high aspirations concerning the average citizen. They have been neglected for too long.

This is one of the achievement the pdp has been flaunting around that he performed credible election, when what he did in Ekiti is arm twisting the ruling government to give it to the area boy. No wonder Fayose will send his boys to disrupt the proceeding of the election tribunal in Ekiti, and no wonder he's so desperating attacking Buhari for the fear of Him losing protection that would eventually lead to his losing the seat.

It is my prayer that Fayose will become the first public officer to be impeached twice, and hopefully before this year runs out. His offences are legion, and soon his protector in chief, will be gone. Passing a state budget with only six state legislators sitting? Slapping a federal judge. Giving the states hotel chain to his brother to 'manage' and including a financial grant. Ekiti people, wake up!

My brother I wonder! I have friends from borno telling me that many of the youth get rounded up and are asked to bail themselves or face possible death as boko haram members. Same thing happens at a police station I can mention in lagos who use this to make Christmas money. Another report from borno was that the army arrived gathered all the men and beat them senseless then burnt all the motorcycles in the village. Why should this ever happen to law abiding citizens who are already facing a deadly threat? Amnesty and Human Rights Watch have been monitoring many of these abuses, and we must be watchful in our own interest.

My brother, history is ours to make. To kick out a ruling party is not easy, but Jonathan and his wife, as well as his gang of lousy advisers, have taken ordinary Nigerians for granted, for far too long. The nation is crying out for principled and purposeful leadership, and Buhari who's track record is there for all to see, is the man we are turning to. The APC offers a much better plan and is filled with more useful people than Jonathan could ever appreciate. Even if the oil boom is over, better leadership is on the horizon. It just pains me that we will still have to be paying Jonathan N30m+ monthly as pension, after he has almost bankrupted the nation.

buy into his support for Jonathan in 2011. We just
voted Goodluck because we were against Gambari.
Ribadu and Buhari being Gambari did not just cut it
for the Yoruba at the time and even more so now.
Yet, not many of you still recollect Atiku's interview
shortly after he was defeated by Yar'Adua in 2007.
According to the Turaki of Adamawa, Tinubu
supported and funded the campaign of late
President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua while the AC had
a presidential candidate.
Tinubu supported Yar'Adua of the PDP while his
party, the AC had a presidential candidate (Atiku)
because he knew Obasanjo will use the powers of
incumbency to rig the election for Yar'Adua as
President. To avoid the possibility of ending up in
prison under Yar'Adua, Tinubu secretly funded
Yar'Adua's campaign. Tinubu is a political dealer
and not anywhere near a political leader.
Political observers are abreast of Tinubu's game
plan with Buhari. He believes US, UK, Obasanjo and
Babangida are on board with Buhari's presidency.
So, he is willing and ready to put all his eggs in
one basket over # JihadistBuhari and ready for any
eventuality. He thinks with America's support,
Buhari will win and he (Tinubu) will stay relevant
and in control of the Yoruba economic wealth.
However, Jonathan, the President they all loved to
call clueless has the support of the Eastern power
blocs -Russia and China. He will bring down the
house on everyone of them. We are likely to end up
with Ukraine but Tinubu and Co want an Ivory
Coast scenario.
At the close of the day, if Nigeria unravels without
a well coordinated central command and control
outside Tinubu's and Obasanjo's groups in
Yorubaland, the two most hated figures in
Yorubaland right now, unknown militia Yoruba
groups will take over the affairs of the Yoruba
states and provinces the minutes Nigeria is
dissolved. They will not break up the control of any
area under them without a fight. Tinubu and
Obasanjo will surely not be in the commanding
height of things in Yorubaland. Former thugs,
assassins and criminals will surely run things
unless the Yoruba Obas and leaders of thought
work out plans before rererun.
The above scenario is definitely not static. It is
being speculated that after the expected defeat of
Buhari on 14 February, Tinubu will ask Gambari to
hold fire pending the gubernatorial election on 28
February. He will then negotiate with President
Jonathan for a soft landing to allow him control
the Lagos State through Ambode as the sole
condition under which he will prevail on Buhari and
his boys, Boko Haram to cease all hostility against
Mr. President and his government.
If Jonathan refuses to negotiate, but insists on
Agbaje as Lagos State Governor, Tinubu will
activate the terror cells in Yorubaland in
conjunction with Boko Haram in the North on or
before February 28 but definitely not after May 29.
Many of you shouting Sia Buhari are just a game in
the hands of the Yoruba-APC. The real change of
the Yoruba people remains change from unitary
system to regional parliamentary system. This
change can only be possible under Jonathan.

Lagos State is set to join the league of oil producing states in the country come next year as the joint venture partners on the Aje Field offshore Lagos have taken the final investment decision on the exploration of the field.

A group led by Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum Company Limited took the FID to develop the first phase of the Aje shallow water oil field for $220m.

The aim of the first phase is to produce 10,000 barrels per day of oil from two target wells in the Oil Mining Lease 113 area. A re-entry of Aje-4 will form the first producer, while drilling of Aje-5 is expected to be the second.

The plans include the use of Rubicon’s Front Puffin floating production, storage and offloading vessel, which produced oil from the Puffin field in the Timor Sea. The vessel will be brought up to specification soon, while the procurement of subsea equipment and the contracting of a drilling rig are progressing.

The Aje field’s first stage is scheduled to be brought on stream at the end of 2015.

“We believe that this development is good for Nigeria generally because our reserves base has not increased over the years as expected, because the international oil companies are not ready to invest since the Petroleum Industry Bill has not been passed,” an elated Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Lagos State, Mr. Taofiq Tijani, told our correspondent.

Yinka Folawiyo is the operator with 25 per cent interest in the field. The partners are Vitol, 24.05 per cent; First Hydrocarbons Nigeria Limited, 16.875 per cent; Energy Equity Resources Limited, 16.875 per cent; Panoro Energy ASA, 12.19 per cent; and Jacka Resources Limited, five per cent.

The JV partners had in January 2014 submitted the Field Development Plan for the Aje field to the Department of Petroleum Resources. The FDP was approved in March and is primarily focused on the development of the Cenomanian oil reservoir.

The FDP envisages first oil commencing in late 2015 with mid-case reserves of 32.4 million barrels.

The first phase of development includes two subsea production wells tied back to a leased FPSO. These wells will most likely comprise the re-completion of the existing Aje-4 well and a new well drilled close to the Aje-2 subsurface location.

In addition, further potential on the block is being defined following the 3D seismic acquisition across both OPL 310 and OML 113.

Lagos State had last year established its oil and gas company following the passage of a bill that sought to establish the Ibile Oil and Gas Corporation.

The bill was to authorise the state government to invest and engage in oil and gas activities.
