Please name those you allege are creating problems for him and in what areas. Electricity, pipe-borne water, security, Education...?

I have read lousy reports and claims by armchair reporters on the social media about the burning of PDP campaign bus(es) in Jos a few hours ago. Immediately, I picked my phone a put a call through to Bitrus Mshelia, an old friend who works for an independent tabloid in Jos. He confirmed that indeed there was a fracas today at the Bauchi Road junction. However, he said the rampage was an intra-partyPDP crisis involving rival PDP party members in Kanke town, Kanke council area of Plateau state, who were expressing theiranger over the imposition of the PDP governorship candidate, Senator Pwajok, on them in the state.Trouble started when the youths clashed with the supporters of the governorship candidate who had gone to welcome him backfrom the PDP rally in Lagos.The APC had no hand whatsoever in the clash. This is done so as to set the records straight and caution scattergun analysts to let the trigger be. It is rather too late to begin to whip up Bolekaja sentiments now!

Perhaps the President's people could not remember his phone number? Lol.

Unfortunately you are wrong. Such incidents are certainly unwelcome, but how can anyone condemn an activity/event that has not happened? The APC wants peaceful and fair elections, but we are mindful that the pdp has still said nothing about the attack on APC supporters in Rivers State, and have proved willing to subvert the democratic process in Ekiti and Osun States, by using the armed forces, the police and a plethora of other security agencies. And also as Baga lies in ruins with hundreds if not thousands murdered by boko haram, we await some comment, some explanation, some commiserations from our president....

I am not igbo but I am sure that every observers will notice the defensiveness and lack of depth in the responses to such articles. For the one just before this, it is not about voting Buhari or Jonathan. It is about Ndigbo showing that they can work together and mobilise support for their policies and candidates. That is how political strength and unity is demonstrated. Instead we see APGA in perpetual crisis, and little evidence of cooperation in the region on any matter whatsoever. There article is a lengthy read but it makes interesting points that are worth discussing.

Why the haste to defend MEND then? Why could he not let the security apparatus talk? Now we know from MEND that they gave a warning of the bombing to the security services, so I'm now inclined to believe Okah who says the president wanted to direct blame at his Northern rivals, especially the same IBB he just visited in minna. Playing politics with our security and lives? This is our scandalous Christian president at work, and he will hear from the citizens this feBuhari, for sure. A truly wretched clueless failure he is.

I'm sorry to ask but what did the south East contribute to the formation of the apc or its sustenance thus far? Buhari represents the solid votes of at least 7 States, and the south West can count on a minimum of 6 States. What would an igbo candidate contribute by way of electoral appeal, to earn such a position? If your own people don't support the apc or the Igbo politician, why should any party take the risk of nominating someone who cannot even deliver his region? Politics is a game of numbers and the south East vote is too divided.

Try to understand in yoruba land APC is the dominant force, in the North West Buhari is and he will also garner majority in North East. Nobody sees any leadership that can mass mobilise in a similar manner in the south east. Even ojukwu flopped badly in every election he participated in, and APGA has one state and no personalities that can rally support at the level required for a successful presidential campaign. Also it is not clear that beyond saying 'it is our turn' that there is any strategy or alliance working to achieve that objective.
No I don't expect everyone of a tribe to be in one party, but at least their leading lights should be visible, and the ideas they stand for, better known. Politics is not magic. If there is no igbo contender today, there will be no possibility of an igbo presidency for at least 12yrs.

If the Igbos are not building bridges of friendship with the other major political blocks, how far can that ambition go? I see Fashola as the next president after Buhari...

But the TANistas will say 'he is trying', 'he means well'? Bs I say, this illegal fund raising will come to haunt the donors when Buhari becomes president. And even Jega of inec must explain why election laws can be broken with impunity under his watch.

Basically, Jonathan lied to the country after the Abuja bombing in denying MEND was responsible, and he lied again yesterday on the lagos leg of his campaign, when he said he was the intended target of an assassination. A truly wretched thing to have as leader of our nation. I suspect he may be guilty of treason in his dealings with all these militants.

Please understand, the APC has a Manifesto in circulation. That is where you will find the bulk of their plans for when they become the government of the day.
