can I have a small mobile gs refilling plant. attached to a tricyle or something? |
The answers I see here are just one dimensional. Now as insincere as it seems, and as unethical as it may be. Sometimes you have to lie to douse tension or rather what we call withhold of information. I happen to be a PR of a multi national firm. I got a call from punch news paper sometime demanding answers that our soap badly scared a customer? Now what would your response be? |
Henrypraise:lying is obviously wrong. you sincerely appealed to the Christian faith. I must say your answer is most appealing for now.. I once said in an interview that I am a Christian and my favourite quote was a passage from the bible. I immediately got the interview who happened to be a pastor, trying to decipher to verse. Thumbs up though |

At 26, 5 years ago, Just like every other guys dream, I landed this job with a multinational coy. I was blown off the roofs when I saw my pay package, wooow I am indeed a big boy. Life for me was indeed a bed of all colour of roses, I started living a life, I never had the opportunity to live, I had different woman on my bed numerous times weekly, I became a popular figure in the female hostel of a popular university, I had an extremely expensive perfume collection, My Car was exquisite, Basically I was that B class sort of guy every chick needed. Early, 2016 I got married to my wife, and she gave me a pretty son. In June 2016, my light slightly dimmed and my coy downsized massively, I was affected, we haven't still gotten any sort of payment yet When I told my wife, baby I lost the job, she just broke down for like 5mins, looked me in the eyes and said, baby its all gonna be alright. I quickly went away, locked the door and shed tears, a lot quickly running through my minds, my son, my wife, and my family, misused opportunity. I quickly broke the news to muumy and she visited and brought me 50k with a truck load of consolation, I accepted the money amidst tears. The Truth is, I look back sometimes, only if I had used the opportunity wisely, nothing stays forever afterall. I have to keep moving, with my heads up refusing to look back. God finally smiled on me, and I got another job, not with the opportunities of the former but at least I can cater for my two best love. If you have the opportunity now, use it wisely. and like my grand father did say, If you want to fall, fall on your back, cos if you can look up, you can get up. |
All you need to know prior to an interview is what the company does? Be yourself, Be real and BE smart. |
Back in the days, with that armoury we can go to war in an army barrack. Something is not right here. |

HI Folks, Nigeria will be great again. The finalists of the Akin Alabi CEO/COO position on Monday was fun. Even when we had to wait for considerably hours for Otunba himself. These guys turned the venue into an amazing venue. It was really nice seeing how we simplify events to lift heavy burdens off our soul and body. The CEO Temi I sight you! |
why |
goodday@marias house, I have got the necessary pre-requisite, I only lack beverage skill, can I still apply? Best Regards Charles |
I currently asked google* I hate marketing job* and believe me my heart grew heavy with pity. loads of Nigerians just board the next keke marwa and zoom off once thy hear marketing. Let me give you a brief story. I started my carreer 2010 with a distinction in masters. Yet to secure a meaningful job was wahala. The lesser qualified and more experienced always got the job. So I reminded myself of the need to start from somewhere. Finally I took up a marketing job in multinational coy with a pay of 60k. Fast forward 6 years after I am now the regional Head of Sales at 31years old. Whats the message here, start from somewhere. In the last 2 months I decided to keep my options open and apply for jobs. I sent out over 71 cvs after carefully selecting the jobs I match the description. Believe me I have been inundated with interview invites, I have had numerous tel invites, more than 21 and till counting and I keep wondering is the same country we shout no job. Being successful transcends a mere 1st class or a 2:1, you need to have the emotional intelligence and a sound presence of mind to be able to make critical decisions. Lets not be ashamed to get our hands dirty, carefully set a plan. Take certification courses, improve yourself and plan ahead. purge yourself of the 100m dash mentality, life is a marathon afterall. Never despair and always believe that there is always light at the end of the tunnel |
ganie:u are not a lagosian. no disrespect brother |
The difference between me then and now-My answer as a sales manager(doctor your answer to fit your job role) I had the skill but lacked basic pre-requisite. Going back to school has further prepared me to take up greater challenges. I have become more exposed, trained myself immensely on emotional intelligence and most importantly I have become more matured to make best judgements and adopt best practices. The new me is a huge improvement of the person I was 4 years ago |
HI folks, firstly let me hail all lagosians. una well done ooo. I came into Lagos form calabar to sign a contract with my new employers. about 4am my friend woke me up, oboy ebe like say u wan miss your racket. I hurriedly had my bath and dressed up quickly feeling so fly. i put on my giorgo check blazers, and my prada shoes were nothing but top class. I told my friend no way am going to get dressed like this and enter keke marwa, so I stopped the first Taxi-bourdilon road, omo the guy say 10k, eeeh am I coming from calabar, Which kind transport fare be this one, the guy replied, o boy this na lagos ooo. remain there nah or enter danfo he laughed. Finally I got a cab for 7k. After the successful exchange with my potential employers. It was time to go. As I fall out, omo I must try this danfo I told myself. I asked around and they directed me to where to board the danfo. Before long, the conductor shouted this row na 5 5 una go dey ooo. what!! I shouted abeg make I come down, why una dey pack us like sardine, The pretty lady on the queue, oga abeg come down, I wan enter . omo I remain for my sit ooo, oboy this na Lagos, I reminded myself. immediately I became so hungry, I saw people hawking gala and coke, but I was ashamed to buy. Small time one fine babe wey dey beside me just shout gala gala coke, omo na im I quickly order my own. man must wack. finally the bus left, it was from one quarrel to another, driver change ooooo, chants of owa, owa, owa just filled the air. I became so fatiqued and I dozed off. The next thing I heard in my dream was roundabout owa owa, I quickly started shouting owa owa roundabout owa. I dropped down just for me to realise say the bus never even waka half my journey. when I got home I realised that two zips of my the shuttle I carried were open. Thank baba god my iPhone 6 plus dey my pocket. If u never enter Lagos, abeg try do-those guys are real damn hustlers |
did u go for the interview |
enough of these cv writing tips. My friend has a pass, but he has changed 2 bank jobs and currently a big boy in road safety. pray for the connect, that's all. Also learn to send unsolicited emails to hiring managers. it helps too |
Phoenix11:I will choose to be an eagle. just like the famous saying soar like a eagle. you may read up the guile, precision and the sharp[ness at which the eagle operates that is why it lords over all birds in the sky. An ant has an incredible teamwork. Being a good employee demands you be visionary, work alone and and within a team as the case implies. so be an eagle! |
what if a woman assaulted the man, what happens. AM not in support of this. a much reduced jail time could just be fine |
Funny enough you guys putting on comments of him taking a 90k offer is plain ridiculous. The naivety of graduates in this country has tipped off the limit. On nairaland a graduate with a 2.1 was begging for a 40k job less than N500 a day. You all should hide your faces in Shame. I can never work for under 100k, that was my dream some 6 years ago and yes my first pay was well over the mark. so its his belief. my friend recently went for an interview in a real estate firm as a top guy, they offered him 150k and he politely declined. reasons being he cannot slave himself doing real estate for someone else. My ideal job is any job I am passionate about, To all of you guys, hammering take the job, work for less. I say SORRY to you all. make Nigeria a better place, use you skills. don't be dundees. my 17 year old nephew studying robotics has way better plans than most of you graduates on this forum |
