Southern Nigeria is composed of three geopolitical zones viz West, centre and East. The West is Yoruba in outlook, the East is Igbo in outlook whilst the centre is a hybrid of different ethnic stocks that can be grouped into four categories

1]Edoid :- These were the majority of old bendel(excluding the Igbo Anioma groups) and had at one time or the other in history professed allegiance to the Oba of Benin. These groups are Bini, Afenmai, Ishan, Urhobo/Isoko, Jekiri.
Their political HQ is Benin city(Idu) while other notable cities of their region are Warri(Wori), Auchi, Sapele etc

2]Igboid :- these are people united by language and cultural values but due to politics of the post war era carved into the SS. They're composed of these categories
-Anioma Igbos viz enuani, ukwuani, ika
-Orashi Igbos viz ikwerre, ekpeye/ekpahia, ogba
-Imo river Igbos viz etche, obigbo/ndoki, bonny-opobo
-Cross river Igbos viz Abi/legbo
The notable cities in their region are asaba, agbor, kwale, PH, obigbo, ahoada, itigidi etc

3]Ijoid :- these are the real delta folk(my opinion though) and are organized on the system of canoe houses. These groups include kalabari, wakirike, nembe, epie, Ogbogolo.
Their political HQ is Yenegoa while other cities are brass, degema, buguma, PH, okirika, sagbama, bomadi etcetc

4]Cross river :- These are a group of disparate ethnicities whose tongues originated from the Cross(Oyono) river valleys. These groups are categorized into
-Kegbo/Ogoni
-Ibibio/Efik
-Ekoi and boki/yalla
Their political HQ is calabar(Atakpa) while other cities are uyo, bori, ikom, ogoja, ikot ekpene, oron etc

A resurgent NDR exclusive of the No 2 above is a sure bet...moreover these three ethnic blocks would balance themselves out and there'd be no Igbos to "marginalize" them.

The north has been known for their aggressive approach to confrontations and in order to avoid a scenario of the civil war, I implore the IGBOS to embrace diplomacy and peace. No body has the monopoly of violence. The northerners and the herdsmen are Nigerians and they have the right to live and do their business in any part of the country. They should not be stigmatised because of the attitudes of a few bad eggs amongst them. The recent Aba clashes is a result of the staunch hatred and bile Nnamdi Kanu preached on radio Biafra. He poisoned the minds of millions of IGBOS and made them un patriotic. He called for the death of Yoruba and Hausa fulanis and the results is the clashes we have today. This is why people like Nnamdi Kanu does not deserve freedom. He is a threat to national security. The solutions to this incessant clashes is to support the grazing bill so the federal government can create grazing reserves for the fulanis in every state of the country. Even the governor of Ebonyi state agreed that the grazing bill is the only path to peaceful coexistence. The IGBOS need to learn from Yorubas peaceful nature. This is why the SW is the most peaceful region in the country. Yorubas are slow to anger no matter the level of provocation. It's not cowardice but diplomacy. I will not support the killing of anyone in any form. We must respect the sanctity of life and stop acting like animals. Until the IGBOS begin to see Nigeria as their home and forget the evil thought of Biafra, they will keep seeing others as enemies especially the northerners. ph is a coastal city, and it won't make proper sense, sitting the capital of a nation in a coastal city. It can fall easily in the face of external aggression.

No matter what...PH is the only city that fits into the requirements of a Biafran capital. For example

4] sited on the bonny river,the position offers potentials for growth.with accumulation of heavy industry coupled with the technological wizardry of the Igbos...I don't see why the city shouldn't b m
5] the city was built by MI Okpara...and it was built to be the Lagos of the East. That's why very bloody battles were fought during the war of independence by Biafrans in defense of PH from late '67 till it fell to the Vandals definitely on may 18,1968
