sheelay: I can categorically tell u that I was part of the team that complained to the NCC about affordable data some months ago, they never replied our mail, nor our tweets at them..... So forget those scums..... We will do all we can to also exploit any loophole from the ISPs, since the agency responsible to fight for our right has been corrupted..... That's allBoss I read a response from Ncc quoted from a national daily here on NL. They explained to some extent on what drives the cost (some technical ish I can't quite recall now), and also explain what makes the BIS network cheaper. The same thing that affects the quality rendering on BB phone (data compression) is what makes you guys prefer android phones. Its like a case of eating your cake and having it. I don't think the high cost of data is a direct exploitation from network companies..I feel its J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ a combo of so many other factors |
Irony is when you hate everything balckberry, but can't do without BIS ![]() I will take android phones seriously whenever an affordable data package is introduced in nigeria. What's the use of having an Iphone when you can't afford to flex any app inside ![]() So without BIS, the might android phones become another land line J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ for making calls and sending text Porting to any other bis network is pointless becos these service providers can change their mind in any minute Blackberry get plenty wahala...but nothing compares to the peace of mind it brings ![]() |
angiemartinez: you better do before she finds out herslf. buh sincerely must you lie to get a womans love? maybe because most women love liesIf he had told her all these from the very beginning, would she had agreed to start dating him? #Justsaying |
gedtalks: This topic has been discussed several times on Nairaland yet it hasn't made our dear girls change their mindset. The truth is that POVERTY has made majority of Niaja chics materialistic. Poor undeveloped countries are more concerned about material satisfaction, while the rich developed ones place more value on emotional satifactionUsed to think it was J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ poverty till I met some rich girls still following d aristo path. It J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ boils down on d difficulty for women to find satisfaction. Once you find a lady brought up with a contented spirit (whether rich or poor), these money grabbing traits can be surprised. ever wonder why more than 90% of our young nigerian girls have big tummies....greed! |
lorretta u: Well you're rightAunty nah here me and u go get problem oo ![]() Substitute fire!! Are you telling me that if I make a 60k budget to spend and my gf, she would happily tell me to substitute the Brazilian hair for flowers ![]() Chie this aunty can lie o! ![]() Lion, linus mba, elias, eli ![]() |
I am waiting for the year or era that Nigerian ladies/ girls will appreciate flower with all their heart the way they appreciated blackberry. I hope to be alive then. I remembered way back at Uni my friend bought a flower and a wrist watch for his girl friend on her birthday.the guy presented the flower to the girl first. the girl thinking that that was all he bought for her playfully flog the flower on the guy with a question of "wetin be this. abeg drop this oyibo level oo and give me better thing." she acted as if it was a joke and was full of smile that day but we knew better. flower? Op I guess you have been reading too much mills and boons and oyibo movie. Time never reach wey Nigerian girls go appreciate flower
Minus play, let's be seriousDoes this mean nigerian women are underdeveloped as opposed to girls in foreign climes? ![]() |
linearity: I think you guys are miss understanding the OP. Let me decode it for you guys, before your girl give you dirty slap or leave you go follow Dayo becos you start buying her flowers instead of "things"..Increase budget ke!!!!!! Shuuu ![]() Click Like if you think this poster deserves a knuckle sandwich ![]() |
wazzar: nobody is trying to compare money with flowerMen u don't have an iota of humor walahi! And FYI the whole thread is about analyzing how true op's position about giving nigerian girls flowers is as opposed to the typical naija woman's love for money. Smh |
Okay, ave been told that I can get too serious, so ave decided to show my other side in this thread ![]() Initially used to feel ashamed that I watch the naruto series till I saw some old baba's having Episode 1-340 on their system Now, for all the naruto followers out there, how did you start? Also, who are the strongest peeps in the show. Personally I go for madara the guy is simply unreal! Finally, what is your most memorable season or fight/ episode? I personally feel the naruto vrs pain season where juriah died was the best. Let's get talking peeps ![]() . . . . . . Boss Ttdiamonds: I do hope you find time to read the contents of the PDF.... ASUU we're never fools when they demanded for the AGF's signature http://www.icanig.org/documents/ATSWA_PUBLIC_SECTOR_ACCOUNTING.pdfHmmm hopefully, I will come around to that. When I speak, I speak from a position of management, or in this case, if I where in mr presidents shoes. Bro there needs to be some sign of compromise or shifting of ground by ASUU. I believe where ASUU made a mistake was not asking for these signatures while meeting the president. Once again I stand to be corrected but I believe after the meeting with the president, they gave him the impression of having come to an agreement, only to come back and insist on one more thing. In negotiations, its seen as bad faith. #just my opinion tho ![]() |
Boss Ttdiamonds: I damn sure you think up your as$.... Don't you have churches and innocent people to blow up??.... I actually do pity those you'll father much.. It's not doubt you're one hell of a sociopath... Boss Ttdiamonds: You're one big Idi0t.. refer to the text in bold to see how much of a nitwit you are..Guy quit being so crude, it makes you loo'k dull. You quoted a guy that made perfect logical sense then insulted him. The least you could have done was to raise your counter points (if indeed you had any) instead of J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ quoting then insulting. But if your indeed capable of having a rational discuss, then explain why its proper for someone from say the ministry of agriculture to sign something affecting the ministry of aviation simply becos a certain union demands it. Whereas it would appear trivial for these conditions to be granted, it lays a bad precedence especially in this our "follow Follow" society where unions put the wellfare of their members above that of the larger society. The last I checked, all these lecturers are govt employees, and cannot be holding govt to ransom to the extent that not only do they dictate the terms of their negotiation, but also exactly how the negotiation will be carried out. My biggest problem with ASUU is their abuse of due process that ought to follow any trade dispute.P.s refrain from insults....its unbecoming ![]() |
PureNigerian: .Don't know about insanity, but I do know a thing about trade disputes, and I know that its settled by compromise and negotiation. What assurance have these people given nigerians that all the money will go to there proposed "development". Is it not chemical engineering dept in uniport that we "heard" NLNG donated millions of dollars to build a new lab. Boss, in all my 5 years there, its only some rusted ornaments that where showcased in that lab. Where did the money go? The reason ASUU seems to be loosing public support is becos of this extra stand they are doing. Like I said earlier, if indeed ASUU are "negotiating" on behalf of nigerian students, someone should point to me what ground they have shifted on so as to bring this thing to an end. What action have they taken to show they want this strike to end as badly as the government want it to end |
PureNigerian: This Okupe is really a big fool.U don't understand bro. Assuming there is an industrial action in the US, and all efforts in resolving it fail. To the extent that the POTUS has to intervene himself for 13 hrs to arrive at an agreement, which later turns out not to be good enough because the said union dont trust the commander in chief of the american arm forces..... In as much as we have no value for ourselves (and amazingly expect other countries..ghana, togo etc to value and respect us) . . . E no make sense bro, from an american perspective; its a big insult to the president |
Hearme: Hello, the strike wouldn't have occurred if the government has implemented the agreement since 2009. Therefore it is insincere for the government not to also pay them since it was the government who breached the contract. So let's get yaradua, obj and put them on trial for insincerity. When we have succession of governments that pile up more problems than solution for the next generation. GEJ ain't no saint, but if my predecessor decides to sell nigeria to cameroon for a plate of porridge, I have the right to make a choice on what's feasible or not. The way we call government we pronounce it like its one baba that has been their for 40 years P.s what makes you think even if the conditions where met in 2009, ASUU won't still find a reason to go on strike in the future. J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ like any other union, ASUU ONLY CARES ABOUT ITS MEMBERS! Every other thing is J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ a smoke screen |
I believe ASUU is being really unfair. A lot of people are using their already preconceived sentiments about FG when discussing this issue. Now, granted that ASUU have a justified basis for demanding some of the things they want. But at this juncture, I believe they are J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ abusing the power and influence that industrial actions affords them. In what sane country does a union continue on an industrial action on a "public"institution becos of fear of insincerity of government. They wanted the attention of the FG, they've gotten the number 1 person in the country to give into their demands, yet its not enough. Why not institute a window period of observance to see if this "particular" government will not do what it has now agreed? Don't dey realize that by asking for signatures from here and there, they insult the office of the commander in chief (sadly, an office that means nothing to the average untrained, ill-mannered "child of anger" we see throwing tantrums up and down on social media, who see nothing wrong in insulting someone old enough to be their father). Let's not forget ASUU themselves ain't no saints. Let's not forget who exactly we are dealing with here. Peeps who have survived hands of lecturers can vouch on the "sincerity" of most of these learned lecturers. Finally, you can't have a "negotiation" without "compromise". Someone should please highlight to me (I stand to be corrected) the areas ASUU have conceded knowing fully well that its millions of children and not them that are directly suffering (since one of the extra conditions is that they should be paid salaries For going on strike) . You can't command your govt to meet all your conditions and still call it a negotiation. And even when the most important person agrees to your terms, you still find extra terms to add. Lest be practical, which government in this world that concedes to all conditions and even the little extra ones won't be seen as a weak government? So what stops association xyz from coming up tomorrow and starting their own strike without any plan for compromise all to the detriment of nigerian people? ASUU should stop holding nigeria to ransome pls. |
Please how true is this? |
leggo: no logic at all.. messi and argentina didnt play well in SA10 and yet he was named player of the year.. individual performances matter not just trophies won..Cannavaro won world best player the year italy won the world cup. How many goals did he score? How many assist did he render? @ this new rate, only attackers and attacking midfielders willl be wining awards. #nonesense |
Loooolz You guys should not bash op oo! I believe in developed countries, its illegal for a person above 18 to date a minor (correct me if I am wrong) @op, I Used to think like you donkey years ago. Was so bad that I promised myself that when I entered uni, I would terrorize all the kinda girls I couldn't have during my secondary school days ![]() . . . . . Childish ramblings of an innocent kid .Got into uni, and smaller babes started to irritate me. Currently I only deal with girls of a certain level of mental maturity. Can't stand pettiness and small mindedness. Only deal with girls that know what they want, and aren't afraid to go after them. @ op I fell your pain, but it will all get clearer by and by ![]() |

Guys I J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ registered now, can some one tell me what exactly I J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ applied for ![]() Why is this career site different from the main total career site? Ŧa̶̲̥̅̊ƞk̶̲̥̅̊ƨ̣̣̣̇̇̇̇:::: |
Now first off, let me say here that cheating sucks on every level imaginable. But this questions seeks to determine the gender that finds cheating least tolerable. My boss (a chronic womanizer) once said after one of our daily morning operation meeting (that's when we have our "unofficial" 15 minutes when we give full gist of our previous sex escapades, and football yarns ) that he knows he is cheating on his wife, and that if his wife where to ever find out, and decided to leave him, he would understand. But if he ever caught his wife with any man, no jupiter on Earth would prevent her from packing, and him from doing something bad to the man. Makes me J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ wonder if cheating affects men more than women. Another example is girls who know for a fact that their bf's are chronic cheats, but still stay with them for whatever reason. What's your take on this? Guys or girls, who does cheating affect more? |
Been trying 2 ask a girl out for a month now, she said she was dating someone, but I thought she was J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ trying to throw me off. Anyways, I don't take my dignity for granted, so I know when to respect myself, and play it cool. followed this girl on bbm for a while, until I noticed a dp she placed. It was her and a guy from my faculty back in school. The guy was a bit popular then, but since the picture wasn't too clear, and am not too conversant with the guy or his department, I decided 2 ask her if the person In her DP was who I thought it was. Men she started sparking for me on bbm, that she knows what people are saying. That d guy is chronic womanizer, etc and she doesn't care (all this while in my mind I had no single clue what she's talking about or why she J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ told me all that). After that incident, I lost interest in the girl geometrically. Someone I was holding in high esteem is J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ another guys toothpick! And to think she told me all this by herself (perhaps thinking I knew the guy well before) . Men! I haven't said a word 2 her since |
My most embarrassing moment... Hmmmm well you see I bought one chinos trouser from mile one market in ph, and two weeks letter, I was rocking it to sunday service. The trouser was kinda tight, but I didn't really send. On getting down from the bus, I tried crossing the road. when I got to the middle of the road, and I had to climb over the divider so as to crossover to the other side. Oh men, as I carry one leg up to climb the divider, nahh him I hear PRAAA! Coming from d bottom part of my trouser I J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ stood untop of the divider in the center of the road while my brain rebooted. Finally crossed over and went behind a car for some "damage assessment" Men it was bad! The thing tore from front through under to the back! To make matters worse, I wore a very bright yellow boxers But I stubborn, I J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ had 2Attend church ni, so I flew the shirt, and folded my sleeves, then entered a cab going along the way. My thinking was that I would J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ sit down from beginning till end of service. As I sat in d front sit, placing my hands over my lap, I J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ took another peak @ my situation. Oh men it was worse!! Plus the yellow boxers, it was like I had put a billboard with speaker shouting "loo'k at me loo'k at me". After the cab droped everyone @ d bus stop, I J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ told d man 2 take me home, and I will pay him for the drop. A distance that bus would have taken 200 bucks, I ended up paying 1000 for the drop |
martronilla: Something that I have been interested in learningMy best friend has been dating his girl since predegree. We all graduated 2 years ago (5 years courses engineering/nursing) and they are still dating. He doesn't spend kobo on her (and she. Doesn't ask), and he doesn't demand sex from her either. I know this, cos as @ our 4th year (after 5 years of dating), he confided in me when they where having problems that he hadn't done anything with her, and that might be a source of the problem. So I guess its. Extremely rare, but its possible for both parties not to want sex or money. . . . . P.s, I once asked him Why I'd never seen him take his girl to one of the popular eateries or spots in school....he said its not that kinda thing that trips her The only draw back I noticed with her Is that she can get quite possessive sometimes. Its very rare, but there are girls like that. |
Guys please I need help. I used an alternate email in applying, and I J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ saw the invite now. But in the email sent to me the name they addressed me with is aadekola, and that isn't my name. I have J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ sent them a mail, I don't know how responsive their H/R team is. Has anyone else had this problem? Also when I sent them a confirmation email, they sent me a reminder text on my phone. So please, does anyone have a suggestion incase they reply by close of today .
