Yes, if you want to add them. No harm

Thanks, will do that. Praying that they will accept as it is and not ask for anything else down the line.

You have nothing to worry about.
Thanks for your reassurance and prompt response. I can go ahead with the letters as mentioned earlier then, right?

How many points were you invited with and the breakdown?

The system automatically request for documents for experience and others. You discard what is not important to you and upload what is important. Generally, you don't need supporting evidence for what you are not claiming points for. However, some CO go beyond their job descriptions requesting for work experience. If you included in the application that you worked in Nigeria, you can include the offer letter, this is not compulsory and not necessary except you are claiming points for it.

Age 30
English 20
Degree 15
Aus study 5.
State sponsorship 5. Total. 75

In the application, when asked for work experience in the past 10 years, I mentioned my Australian and Nigerian work experience. But marked as irrelevant as was not claiming points. I'm just trying to avoid CO contact as much as possible as that could cause further delay. I know I don't need to provide supporting documents, that's why I was surprised when this came up. Maybe they are changing the system.

@chi50,

If you didn't claim any work experience in the EOI, you have nothing to worry. Just discard it, it could be a system glitch.

If you made a mistake in claiming experience in the EOI, the best you can do is to withdraw the application and reapply.

@bellong,
Thank you for your response Sir, I'm very sure that I didn't claim any points, even during my skills assessment. My worry was because it came out as required docs before payment and so I could not leave it blank. I contacted DHA, and they said I should maybe write a cover letter stating the same and submit in its place. Apparently, this is a new thing now. I have employment offer letters from Nigeria, that's all, no payslips or reference.
My question is, should I submit these employment letters, as well as the cover letter?, and if so, should I then mention that I am not claiming points because I don't have enough docs for proof. I'm worried about submitting too much or too little information. Such a dilemma

Hi guys, I'm new to this thread and have so far been encouraged by lots of positive stories here. I am in the process of applying for my 190 visa (onshore). However I've come across a hindrance, and so please I need some guidance. On the upload required documents page, I have been asked to provide evidence of overseas and Australian work experience. My confusion now is that I am not claiming any points for work experience as I do not have the necessary documents, especially for the Nigerian work experience(hence the not claiming points). Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any suggestions on how to go about this? I'm trying to avoid any CO contact in the future.

Oga Bellong, please I will really appreciate your response sir.

Good morning house. I hope everyone had a wonderful night. Please I have been an ardent follower but I think i might need direct informations at this point. So do help a brother out.
Bottom line is, I was personally trying to process travelling to Aussie alone to study and eventually get PR through Msc only to be advised that upon completion, I might not get a job with that Msc especially if it is not on the Sol list. Then something popped up, I was advised to go for Bsc degree instead as it guarantees job after completion and also PR if the course is on SOL list of course. But because I am primarily a political science graduate I feel I have lesser attractive courses for Bsc on SOL list, I'm now consedring going to the registry with my fiancée, sponsor her instead and with the support of her family to study Nursing at Bsc level, while I go with her majorly to work my ass off and at the end we can both get PR once she gets qualified at the end of her studies, then I can go ahead with an advance diploma even before she's done in courses that can give me access to jobs as well. My question is, what are the pros and cons of my plan? What are the cost I'm looking at? Because I have been told there are schools tha
t do not require the 60k thingy instead straight cash payment of first semester fees of around 16k. Please help a brother.
your plan is a good one. You can work while she studies. I knw a lot of people that came that way.. she can also work too.

hi guys,

I thank everyone who have been contributing here .

Pls i have a question.

Am a sponsored student as my uncle is sponsoring my education. At this juncture, i intend including my wife to my application as my dependant.

Can ones uncle sponsor a married nephew and his wife.

My friends over there are suggesting i come with my wife.

Is it advisable ??

Regards...
I suggest u apply with ur wife at once, to avoid complications later. she mustn't travel with u immediately though, but at least she'll have her visa

the insurance spoken of is Australian health insurance. you are supposed to pay for and reg for insurance for d duration of ur proposed stay in Australia. There are a lot to choose from, alliance, bupa, etc. I guess you'll have to Google Australian private insurance to make ur choice. just know that u can't apply for visa without it.

Is it true one can enter Australia before OSHC commences? Please I need confirmation on this.
Hi I'm currently living in Melbourne. and yes you can enter b4 ur oshc starts, all u have to do is to contact d school if d oshc was organised by them or contact the insurance company if u did it urself. and let then know u want to update ur oshc as u want to come earlier. I did d same, d date of expiration was changed n dat was when I got here...
Good luck n welcome to Melbourne in advance

Okay thank you what im trying to say is that december lastyr i went got medicals and i got a mail that something was seen around my lungs and was adviced to go do the tb test in my panel clinic and ansked to wait for 3months for the result to be concluded and then the result finaly came out and im negative to tb what im asking now is that if i go for a repeat xray and they still see something around my lungs can i still get my visa since i dont have tb?

At this point all u can do is to pray n wait for response from DIBP or the Sydney medical facility. but just know that u have nothing to worry abt. We've previously had people on this thread that were diagnosed with tb. All they had to do was treat it n do series of Xrays. Today they are in Australia. Here, they're just protecting their country hence all d tests. You might also have to sign an undertaking or something. So relax, no one here can give u another response as we dnt work at DIBP. I wish u d best...

I think no one is answering ur question becos at this stage it's expected that u shld be able to source some info on ur own then ask 4 confirmation, I mean you've been on this thread long enough to know some basic stuff n how questns are answered here.
The first thing u need to do is to generate ur immiaccount. you can do that by googling 'my health declaration ". The site is well self explanatory. Remember to print out the referral letter. n also note ur immiaccount password 4 future reference. best of luck

For guys who had their medicals in Abuja, please how did you get a referral letter to Zankli Medical Centre? I called them to make enquiries and they said I need to come with a referral letter for the medicals. Maybe I'll speak to a friend that works in a hospital to help generate a referral letter for me to Zankli.

The DIPB website stated clearly with contacts that we should go to Zankli, I cannot understand why they still require a referral letter.
the referral letter they are referring to can only be generated from ur immiaccount, when u get ur hap I.d. It usually asks u to print it out n ur hap I.d will also be there with d medical history u filled when completing d form...
