No she won't encounter any delays. muyiwaojo1: Hello everyone, please I just need to be sure of something. My wife's passport is expiring in June(less than 6 months from now) She has a 2yrs valid US visa on it.. I want to renew the passport before she travels, but I was told that immigration do not have 32 pages passport that what they have is 64 pages and it's for frequent travelers, diplomats and businesses men. I want to know if I obtain the 64 pages passport for her, will she encounter any type of delay/hindrance while traveling... Thanks guys |

Don't be vexed did you state in the form.you filled for drop box that you went to put to birth? If you still have a copy just go through it to be certain and prepare for your next appointment. chi1145: Hi everyone, please I am new here and i have a few questions to ask...my family was issued a US visa early 2014 and when the visa was issued I wasn't pregnant, I had scan results that proved i wasnt...in mid 2015 I went to the US to give birth. In 2016 we decided to do a drop box to renew our visas but we were called to appear for another interview explaining why I stayed almost 3mnths. myself n my husband appeared and I told the VO I had a baby and the VO did not give any chance for us to explain futher and dint bother to check my Dr's report (showing the med issues I had)....to summarize it all, our renewal was refused on grounds that the visa B1/B2 was used for a wrong purpose and she asked us to go apply again as freshers....my question is "what are our chances of getting the visas again? |

Correspondence yes. As for payment for me I think it is better when you get there. Because you might get a cheaper hospital after shopping around. Nozzle: That makes alot of sense, so it's the correspondence with the doctor that's is needed at the POE? Or they need more documentation, so I don't have to pay just yet? |

Yes you can I did it 2011 my visa was to expire in March and I renewed it in Jan because I wasn't going to be around in Nigeria in March and was to travel the states in April. Remember it is drop box since it is the same B1/B2 visa which you had before. Enkaylala2: Good evening all, my family's visa all expires by ending of march, I wanted to know if I could renew this January and state b2 cause I'm a July mom that will likely leave may or June. |

How you see am Nozzle: Happy new year I am not in houston yet, till July. I am jst trying to stay ahead. |

Please I will like to find out if 3 weeks will be enough for DW and I to finish all the paper work process in the houston to enable us fly back to nigeria on time.. This information will help me in the booking of the return flight and also save a considerable amount of cost. |

You just apply for the child it will be issued ASAP DebsMed: Good morning all! A quick one here please. Preparing myself for a situation. The gurus in the house should kindly guide as I really didn't find the kind of situation in the thread while going through (unless I'm mistaken).
A situation where one goes the online route and is approved God willing for instance, and is asked by His grace to forward his/her passport to the embassy, and the individual now has got a child between time of application and now, what will be the way to getting a visa for the baby back of the parent approved visa? Thanks in anticipation!

Just run your show as if she doesn't exist. Apply as a tourist then do your waka. I don't have any Friend or relative there but was given a TRV You too can get it. Fortissimo502: Hi everyone. I hail o. Make i join una for here. Will be submitting my TRV app soon for tourism and to visit my fiancée in Canada.
But I've been seeing online that getting TRV to visit fiance/fiancee/spouse is quite difficult because the VOs may feel that I won't leave Canada at the end of my visit. Nawa ooo.
I have other friends in Canada that can send me an IV letter and I can even just apply strictly for tourism, but I feel it may appear deceitful not to mention that I have a fiancée in Canada. I'm going to end up still visiting her anyways!
So, I don't want to get denied, but at the same time I don't want to inadvertently do anything that might jeopardize the spousal PR application in the future.
Any thoughts? It's well oooo. |

It means your Passport is still at the embassy. You can only get records of it on Vfs when it has returned to them. Remember the Canadian visa process is as slow as a snail. tplacid: I just saw the same status on my application ie 'no records found' please has yours been sorted ?and what does this mean. This is really scary. |
Travel › Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by chibertha(f): 7:43pm On Dec 27, 2016 |
You are very correct the economic situation of Nigeria is the cause. I was also denied a study visa reason was work situation which is economic meanwhile the same people issued me 8 months visitors visa when I just requested for 2 weeks in 2013 then I was single didn't even have property. But now I am married had my baby in USA and even have investment both here and the USA. I believe it's was not my lucky day then. awelekiti: Apologies for delayed response. Everybody has been quite bizi I guess. This is the end of the year and so, deliveries tied to a deadline need to be concluded before year-end hence, the delay in people's response to your case. Now, concerning your ties in canada...did you submit any invite and what's the status of the person inviting you...does he/she have enough funds to host you and did you submit proofs alongside your application? If your intended travel was on tourism, you don't need any invite but you must state clearly in your itinerary, places and events of interest you wanted to attend. Hope you did all these. If you've not exceeded your stay while in the UK and US and you've got a good job, you might just have to relax, for now and reapply a few months later because the current economic situation of our country isn't funny at all. Applicants, who have not abused visa privileges in their entire lives and haven't been refused visas in the past just like you, were refused Canada visa in recent times. I remember that banker with his family who submitted quite impressive documents alongside their applications with valid US visa on their passports. They were still refused eventually. In the past, case-specific applications wouldn't have issues. Even if the event an applicant was going to attend had passed, he/she would still get a Canada visa, if the VO is satisfied with the visa application but in recent times, a case-specific application was refused. It's not funny. I read it here that the reason for refusal was that, the event he was going for, had passed. I had applied to attend a training in the past and a decision was made a few days after the end of the training. I still got my visa and the training was rescheduled by our manufacturer due to this... I got 4 years multiple. A lot of applicants here who wanted to go for tourism, conferences and annual leave were issued visas after their intended missions had passed. All these happened this year. If you earn 2m monthly, as a family person, it's just 3,225USD and might not be considered to be enough for a family visa application because you're expected to have responsibilities and bills to settle out of the salary, on a monthly basis. Try and work on your finances and leave enough balances in your account before you reapply. While the US VO might consider your travel history in approving your visa application without dwelling much on your asset and finances in most cases, Canada will go beyond that. Your ties, personal assets and finance and travel history are considered as key factors by CIC in the course of their decisions in most cases . In my opinion, don't sound desperate by reapplying immediately. Try and give them some time. I've not tried applying for canada visa from USA but some said it had worked for them. You and spouse may reapply here in Nigeria since you work here. It's nothing to worry about. That you were refused now doesn't mean you won't be granted a visa when next you reapply. Just be honest with your documents, work on some weak areas and leave the rest in the hands of God. Cheers. |

If your daughter will travel with her US Passport then she doesn't need a visa to enter Canada for visit. You apply alone but try to clear the reason you were refused previously. dora2007: Pls gurus in the house. I applied for visiting visa last year n got denied based on purpose n history. To get it same day expedited go to a city that has Passport Agency and also issue BC few days after birth e.g. Houston chinwe11: Hi ladies,
Please how long does it take to process the US passport after delivery. With my first child it took about 4 weeks but that was 4 years ago. Currently my new place of work only gives me 40 days maternity leave so I have to return when baby is 2 weeks and for sure I don't want to leave without the passport. Thanks |

If you have done traditional marriage then the child is his and should have his last name though he is not being reasonable at this time. You need to consult elders from his place that really know the tradition because in my own place if you are married traditionally all the children you have are the man's even when he is dead except you divorce by returning his bride price. As for you , you can use any last name you like because it is usually stated that all documents still remain valid when you do change of name . You can mention your husband as father on the Birth certificate if you like. If you prefer not no problems or can be inserted at another time there are procedures for that. If you do then what it will mean is when you go to get the baby's US Passport you will have to prove beyond reasonable doubt that you can not reach the father or he doesn't care. You will then fill form DS 5525 to that effect and make your case. That is if he doesn't come around by then. This site will also help in your decision making I advice you go through it see the link below http://www.scdhec.gov/vitalrecords/PaternityAndLegitimation/mindex.htmada87: Hi all ,I am the lady her husband abused physically sometime in September,I would be due God's grace in a week's time,e hasn't bothered reaching out,but I decided to reach out to ask him on two occasions on what contribution he would make regarding the birth of the baby,he read and ignored, now I am confused on what last name I should give the child, because from all indication he has proven he doesn't want to be involved in the child's life, note I still bear my last name cos we did just traditional marriage,if I give his last name won't father's consent be required and won't I be disturbed at the airport when we want to travel?pls I am open to suggestions pls!thanks |

1) Decide on the state you want to go to 2) Check cost of medicals there 3) Contact Dr 4) Get visa if you don't have already 5)Then go through this thread you will get a lot of options for cheap accommodation e.g get someone to split with, airbnb, long stay accommodation ie studio6,extended stay etc From there you can now get a full picture of what it will cost you. I too don't have family or friends there so I had to pay for accommodation. bobidinc: Wife pregnant, still early stage and her wish ksnto give birth in the state. No family or relative there.
