For the person who asked about precum, this is how wikipedia explained it: Pre-ejaculate (also known as pre-ejaculatory fluid or Cowper's fluid, and colloquially as precum) is the clear fluid that is issued from a man's penis when he is sexually aroused. The fluid is usually secreted by Cowper's glands during masturbation, pre-intimacy or at an early stage during sex, some time before the man reaches orgasm and semen is ejaculated. Purpose Pre-ejaculatory fluid prepares the urethra for the passage of semen by neutralizing acidity due to any residual urine. It also lubricates the movement of the penis in the vagina and the foreskin over the glans. The amount of fluid that the human male can issue varies widely between individuals, from imperceptible amounts to a copious flow. It should also be noted that pre-ejaculatory fluid can be produced at any age of a male.[citation needed] Components Though frequently cited as a carrier for small numbers of sperm, and thus a potential cause of pregnancy, it is very unlikely that conception will occur from exposure to pre-ejaculate fluid.[citation needed] It has also been theorized that pre-ejaculate may push sperm from a prior ejaculation out,[1] presumably if he has not urinated since his most recent ejaculation. These are among the reasons why withdrawal, or "pulling out", is not considered to be a reliable method of birth control. There have been no large-scale studies of sperm in pre-ejaculate, but some smaller-scale studies suggest that any sperm present may be ineffectual at causing pregnancy.[2][3] A more serious problem is those same studies have shown the presence of HIV, the virus responsible for the disease AIDS, in pre-ejaculate.[2] Pre-ejaculate can also transmit other STDs. |
@ gbade.x You are really turning livid. How can you get channels when you can't locate the satelite. The information isn't meant for you alone. The channels you'ld get depends on the satellite your tuned to. So take a deep breath and someone may see your frantic request and help you out of your hysteria. One more thing, learn to clean up your language. Doesn't make you hip to be talking gibberish. |
Using the above link, i was able to search for some cities in Nigeria and found their cordinated on the globe. Using it to calculate the Azimuth and the elevation angles you need for a particular satelite would help. I did search using the Lagos cordinate I gave above for Astra 1C satelite - carries mostly german TV stations and some others, it gave me (A)Azimuth 111° and (E)Elevation 70°, for PH with following cordinates: 04.43 N (latittude) and 07.10 E (Longitude) the satelite position (still for Astra 1C) 110° (A)zimuth and 75° (E)levation Cordinates for some selected cities are Aba: 05.06°N (Latitude) 07.21°E (Longitude); Ibadan 07.23°N (Latitude) 03.56°E (longitude) Gombe (Bauchi) 10.17°N, 11.14°E Benin 06.19°N, 05.41°E Ikorodu, Lagos 06.36°N, 03.32°E Incase you have difficulties finding a particular location, you may fire off an email to me and I'll help out chivy30@netscape.net |
Found another site which could give you the longitude and latitude of major cities (though they claimed they could give the villages but my search for Aba turned no result, though PH might do for those at Aba) around the world. For example, it gave me for Lagos this result Coordinates: Lat: 06 27 00 N degrees minutes Lat: 6.4500 decimal degrees Long: 003 28 00 E degrees minutes Long: 3.4667 decimal degrees The link is: http://www.getty.edu/research/conducting_research/vocabularies/tgn/index.html Hope this will be of help to someone |
Just remembered something that might be of help: if you have a map (atlas would do provided it's detailed enough to give the location of cities with the longitude and lattitude lines showing). Just look it up and use it calculate the angles you need for the satelite dish from the websites given above. Alternatively, you can use a GPS - I think more people own one now, just ask around. |
Please find attached a PDF file that should help you locate satelites around the globe. It's quite clear. Scroll to the last page, there's a graphical representation of the satelite positions around the globe with their angles of elevation. Once you get the agle of elevation correct, relative to your position then all you need to bother about should be the azimuth with is the horizontal position (by turning the dish sideways). The best way to find a satellite is to buy a satellite finder a small tool that looks like a compass that you can attach to the Cable running from the LNB unit on the satelite dish and the receiver (decoder) and once you locate the satellite, it gives an acoustic sound. It should be pretty easy to do. I am currently looking a particular website I've come across before, which can give you the exact angles of elevation and the azimuth you need to position your satelite well, but you need to know your exact (not really exact) location on the globe (remember your longitude and lattitude from geography and geometry), but you can use that of the nearest city close to you as the angles may never vary beyond 1 degree. Sorry the document refuses to attach but you can see the PDF document on this link: http://www.boeing.com/defense-space/space/bss/about/What_is_a_Satellite_2006.pdf for more information on how to position your satelite dish and calculate the angles, (finally found the weblink) click on these links: http://www.hansa-electronic.com/satcalceng.asp and: http://www.inhousetechnologies.com/Look%20angles.htm enjoy your stations |
what is modesty and who defines the threshold for modesty. What you call modesty in Nigeria might not be what it is in another nation. True the african woman tends to hide her body - and some need to do that for obvious reasons, but does covering oneself alone determines modesty? If you are comfortable in what you wear, then it should be ok. If you are ogled, then, it has served the purpose. Which woman wouldn't want men to admire and compliment her dressing, whether skimply dressed or covered up ala Afghanistan ladies? Afterall, ladies dress to be seen by men. I think african men should rather change their approach and perception to the way they treat ladies whose dressing doesn't follow the normal societal code. |
Girl, take it easy on yourself. Precum has a very slim chance of getting you pregnant, i.e. assuming the guy penetrated you, which in this case isn't (at least from your narration). His having precum in his fingers is practically harmless - I wonder the amount he may have exuded. Most often it's not noticeable. You show know too that precum doesn't normally contain sperm cells, unless of course the guy had ejacualted recently and hadn't had the chance to urinate before the silly play. So take it easy and if you are free with your parents, get a better counselling from them on how to handle sexual pressures and stay clear off boys until you know enough. The bottomline - I feel you made up your story. |
It's a pity that your car was vandalized. But what were you doing carrying that amount of money in your car. You would have locked it in the boot - that was negligence on your part, and that's already enough to punch holes in whatever case you have. Besides, the fact that you parked your car within their premises doesn't mean that they assumed responsibility over it's safety - whether or not there is a disclaimer notice. Just learn your lessons from it and move on. At best buy a car with an alarm system |
Nice Pictures and they really felt relaxed. Did they try out Amala, Akpu or Eba?? Was it only Kwara State that they visited? Or did they go to see how the Zimbabweans are faring. More pictures pls, but that was a great PR for the country |
Both Ladies are beautiful and radiant in their different ways, but non is more beautiful than the other. Afterall, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. |
If you ask me, I would say, Dangote, Adenuga and the young guy who controls the Diesel market in Nigeria - can't place his name now. And of course people like the Ibrus and Tony Elumelu and Pat Utomi. At least their wealth is in the "real" productive sector and not because they once held one political office. |
Was studierst du in Greifswald?
Kennst du Stuttgart - in Schwabenland!! Schönen Abend noch! Started reading the Golden Fox by Wilbur Smith today. |
Hi @ Camara. Das Buch ist schon emphfelungswert. Es geht um die Inca Leute - Urleute in Südamerika. An adventurous book on how the American military got hold of an ancient manuscript that was stolen by some Germans from a Spanish monastery in the Pyrenees and the different groups set out to find a totem - carved out from a stone believe to have been a meteorite The stone has some strange element which could be used to produce a nuclear bomb more powerful than use of uranium and plutonium. The book was written by an Australian - the only good thing to have come of that sub-continent. Wo wohnst du in Deutschland?? |
@Camara, wie geht's? Just finished reading "Der Tempel" - war sehr gut and "Rosenrot, Mausenrot" by James Patterson - a German translation of his books. Couldn't lay my hands on the english version |
Have you read "Anne of Green Gables" and the sequels - One of the best and hilarious books ever. And the best of the pack is the "Don Quixote" - the two volumes. It was adjudged the best book ever written. Finished The Maestro by John Gardner and I am in love with Vince Flynn's books on the new American Hero - Mitch Rapp - a counter terrorism expert - some of his books are Memorial day, Separation of Power, Executive Power, Consent to kill. I have read all John Grisham's books and I have soft copies of most of his books. If you need them, just send a note and I shall forward them to your email. The best way to lay your hands on new and interesting books is to form a reading club. I have about 4 friends who love reading books and we exchange books. The list of my books are endless - what am i even reading now?? Just finished Dan Brown's Deception Point. |
I have really enjoyed the postings of Mazi and others. You all have your points, albeit from different perspectives. How I wish we'll have more of these brainstorming in Aso Rock - we all would be better for it. Now my own two cents - we really need to look into the area of power generation and food security. These are the bedrock of any meaningful development within a country. POWER GENERATION /SECTOR This is really capital intensive and individuals might not be able to come in - unless buying generators. The Govt can encourage - I love what they are doing in granting licenses to private companies to build and operate power stations. However, they should also look into the area of safeguarding the investment of these companies and put enabling laws into place to protect the consumers. For one, the power generation and distribution should be decentralized. For example, in Germany, to an electrical engineer, the whole country is made up of "lines and circles". Cities and regions are in circles while inter cities are lines. Lagos for example should have many stations generating power - not just Egbin and should supply Lagos alone. Should the power not be enough, they can "import" from a station in Ogun State at peak periods. The issue of generating in Kainji and transfering it to Oshogbo first before being sent back to the North is wasteful. FOOD SECURITY. Govt should enter into aggressive food production - not just the staple foods. For example, millions or Dollars are spent every year importing Apple from South Africa. We can start a massive apple orchard and other fruits (same goes for other crops). The Nigerian govt should revisit the Michael Okpara Agricultural policies in the 60s (farm settlement schemes) to see if they are applicable in present day Nigeria, but with more emphasis on empowering individual to go into food production on a large scale. |
Nigeria isn't as terrible as people are meant to believe. The immigration and other security agencies at the port of entry aren't bold to tell you to bribe them - those days are gone. However, you may experience some "problems" before getting a trolley to use - that may mean parting with some money - that's acceptable. A friend of mine went home last year December and was later visited by 2 German friends of his - they really had a nice time there and you can read up their experience here http://www.meckerossi.de/iboland Of course, Lagos stinks due to several factors. People pee almost at every corner and the fumes from thousands of buses without catalysators. Just have an open mind, and you'll be surprised at the friendship you'll be offered and don't go with any biases. Form your opinions based on your experience there. One last note, white skinned people are not singled out for attack by either the police or armed robbers. There is every likelihood that because of your skin color, the police may allow your car pass without requesting for anything. I have many people attest to this fact. And don't forget to try out "Isiewu and Nkwobi pepper soup", Akara for your breakfast, Plantain (fried or roasted) and of course the mercurial "Edi ka Ikong" and Egusi soup with Akpu (fufu) if you get to Calabar. |
