tough-tougher-toughest. he shld be talking about the toughest and not tough. nigerians experienced tough situation before 1999 and things became tougher when obj came in with his thugs. nigerians's refusal of third term and the imposition of yar adua on us could be what obj is trying to explain to us. if there is anything nigerians would want to hear from obj now, it is his retirement speech from politics. all we need now is obj's exist so that nigerians and nigeria will be free from him. |
his people are saying thank you, we want a change and the man is saying no till death do us part. what has the westerners got to do with that. how long is mugabe surposed to be on power. don't u know his people are bored. change like in everyother place is a constant thing and while is mugabe not ready to allow change? his land reforms that took the lands from white farmers and give them to black ignorant soldiers has nothing to do with whites. the lands are wasting and there is no food to eat talkless of selling. we are know about aperthied in south africa and till date south africa is the no 1 in africa so why didn't the whites spoil their economy. these are all lies cooked up to remain in power. we must learn to ask mugabe to quit. let someone else try. |
may the soul of the innocent girl rest in perfect peace. Amen |
@ chidichris you have yet to master the good and bad threats. There is a marked difference. Israel threatens anyone - Good and understandable. Iran threatens Israel - very bad. India threatens Pakistan -good. Pakistan threatens India - bad. China threatens US - bad. The US threatens China - good. The US threatens Cuba - good. Cuba threatens the US - Bad. Russia threatens Ukraine -bad. Ukraine threatens Russia - good. Get the picture? @ igwe USA So the 9/11 terrorists are Iraq and Afganistan, right? you sound 'copy & paste'! you don't seem to know the real stories of wars waged by US and Israel, so it would be ok for Saudi to go and bombard Nigeria in retaliation to Somalia's pirates who hijacked their ships? you are too dumb!

Olawonder, you sound too good to be an insider. if you are in Uk as it appears here, you must be part of protests against isreal going on there. what do u think is the solution in the palestine/isreali conflict-wiping out of isreal? what do u think about the continious rocket attacks on isreal by hamas? |
nigerians speak more english than the bristish people. babangida stepped aside, annulled electiom all english. ribadu said andy uba's money laundary case in the US was a civil case all gramer. nigeria - a baby at 48. if we want to be straight forward, nigeria is a failed state for now. |
the funny thing here is that people do not know what obj is capable of doing. who is sure obj is not fighting these men. the govt is still the same. obj is the chairman board of trustees. we are saying other presients rule and quit, why is he not quiting? he is the one who imposed yar adua on nigeria. it is the same pdp under the leadership of obj. let there be a different person in power. obj is the best thing that has happened to humanity, accepted but let him give chance to others. let him allow nigerians to choose their own candidate. he has done his bit of the good work someone else shld come and try. nigeria is not zimbabwe or cuba. we need change. nigeria is not for a particular family. why are we suffering from father and daughter. let them give us chance. |
this guy was a hero under ribadu. he is among our saints during the days of ribadu. a civil servant providing n200 million within minutes of the bail. obj's mess in this country will be too difficult to clean up in nigeria |
Nigeria has two major problems viz; obj and pdp nigeria is only suffering from the power madness of obj who has the power to appoint a national leader as against the constitution. on the other hand, pdp is only raising gangstars who are out to manipulate the country at their own pace instead of the use of manifestoes that parties are known for. if actually pdp is a party with objectives, why won't tar adua continue from where obj stopped since they are from the same party. who is righteous enough in nigeria to do things his own ways instead of using the constitution. it is only in nigeria that politics is discussed from january to december instead of gov backing on projects, govt will embark on programmes to elongate their tenures. even if they like, let them remove agf, or make ribadu president, the problem will continue. the worst news to all efforts is that among our so called heroes, non has ever created institution rather they are more interested in gathering praises to their names. we are so blind that non is ready to ask what if this person dies tomorrow? men are born to die so we shld learn not to put the fate of our country in the hands of a particular man. let their be a functional constitution and an impartial govt and only then we will begin to live like human beings instead of animals. the ribadu that nigerians are yieling for was there when chris uba, andy uba, adedibu and their likes who are mere criminals became heroes and people of great honours to the extent chris uba was made a member board of trustees in the pdp. it either nigerians are blind to the simple truth or they are going mad. our so called senators are not even doing anything to help the people they represent rather making efforts to beef up their account at the detriment of the masses. what a shame? |
i think this thread is about who and not if. well, i would want us to rent obj or iyabo obasanjo. |
i don't care about the financial implication rather am only interested in the sufferings of family to train their children to that level only them to hear the death of their wards in nysc. for that aspect of killings via riot, let them do away with that programme which in no way is uniting nigeria |
poster, u better finish what u have started. i think some people are idle enough to read ur copy and paste projects. |
i have read many write ups concerning the isreali-arabs problems but what i have not come across one day is a reference to any govt that will keep quiet and watch another country kill her citizens for whatever reasons. the situation with isreal in most cases, is a case of reaction and not action. why would the world watch hezeboulah and hamas fire missiles into isreal not minding their targets and always show up with sympathies whenever isreal reacts. hamas are doing their best in their quest to wipe out isreal but the unfortunate thing here is that they can only fight with what they have - iranian provided missiles. to me, the real killers of the palestinians are those invincible sponsors of hamas who have never come out in physical to carry on this war. action and reaction are equal and oposite. |
she cannot be the president with the high class of corrupt people in nigeria. how will a person like obj be alive in nigeria to see such a person be the president. they will do all sorts of things to frustrate her. they could not allow her continue the good works as the finance minister talkless of allowing her be the president. |
Don't look at what was yielded, look at the result, if Ribadu was OBJ's dog, then he is a good dog, Ribadu's name itself has yielded results in so many corrupt practices in the Nation.

Auwal, we had issues that have to do with the country as an entity. i am talking about issues like good roads, power supply, security, education, nigerians ports authority, nnpc, electorial system just to mention but a few. please let us know how the above mentioned issues faired between 1999 and 2007. again, funds i mean huge sums of funds were released on these areas mentioned above. could you please tell us who was in charge of issuing contracts on these areas and who were the recipiants of these contracts and how many of them faced trial while ribadu was on seat. if you are realistic in ur arguements, tell me why non of these people could not face ribadu in the court. |
If shekarau has nothing that is worth celebrating in kano, who among the past gov has? Achike Udenwa of Imo state was the first gov to endorse the third term agenda and today he is the minister of commerce and industries. what do you have to say here? i as a person and everyother nigerian knows that ribadu fought justice but we are saying that the war was selective.whenever a ribadu arrests and persecute alams for money laundary and tell nigerians that andy uba's money laundary case was a civil case, we say he is selective and that type of justice is what nigerians call selective justice. selective justice as we saw in the last admin, will never reduce corruption in any system rather it will increase it and that is exactly why the situation in nigeria today is worse than ribadu met it. the actions of ribadu was designed to give more powers to the self acclaimed messiah - obj as those who are loyal to him could do anything and get away with it. now that obj has used ribadu to set such standard, it has continued as a system and that is why such betrayals like prof. iwu is still addressing media houses as a hero calling on the usa to learn from nigeria's electorial processes - madness at the highest order. |
well, my advise is that you continue your countdown bcs from all indications, you make more sense when you are not talking than when you are talking. |
@poster, it is a problem of institutions. there is no institution in nigerian political system. things are not done merits. even appointments are done based on how much you spent during campeigns. how influential your thugs were in getting the boxes from the inec officials. even our parties do not work based on their manifestoes. all these decamping issues are not deliberate. like in my state-imo, the gov is from ppa and he won based on the crises in pdp then. the only option left for him to go for the second tenure will be joining the pdp. people move up and down just for what they want at that particular time. if anyone fails primaries in a particular prty, since he must context that election, he has to decamp to where he will be given the ticket. again, using pdp as a case study, almost all their posts where hand picked so the peoples choice does not matter so aggrieved persons will not have anyother choice than to dcamp. until nigeria or the govt begin to creat institutions based on the constitution of the land, all these issues will continue to go by the wind. |
Kobojunkie, Like someone already posted, this is not necessarily about Ribadu but ensuring that rule of law is finally respected. Ribadu may have done right but enough of the lynch style approach to justice and more open and by-the-book justice.yes, this is the problem of pdp in general. they do not have institutions. their interest in more on how to rule nigeria for 1 million years and not how nigerians will benefit from their leadership. look at efcc which means ribadu, nafdac means dora, finance ministry means okonjo iweala, oyo state means adedibu etc and the death or exit of any takes the commission out of sight. if pdp has manifesto, why won't yar adua continue the works of obj instead of obj asking for third term and tenth term to complete his works. The man never had power OVER his boss and should not be condemned for the errors of his Boss or whoever hired him to do the work at EFCC. The man ought to be judged for his own record, and if found wanting, processed legally.there is no room for having powers over any person. it is a case of the constitution which is surposed to be above all. if the law says, money laundary is 2 years in the prison and alams served same, andy uba we expected to serve same when he was caught in the usa and not ribadu coming back to tell nigerians that the case of andy uba was a civil case. he was selective in his justice and that is just it. as long as that was welcomed by nigerian, they shld go ahead and welcome same in the other administrations. Is this what you want the sitting EFCC chairperson to go as well? Cause the way this all looks, when the next president comes in and the next set of gangs, things are likely to continue the same way. Signing the petition is simply for those who want to see Ribadu freed BUT it also opens the door to due process being taken more seriously than ever.is not all about what i want rather this is what they have installed.people like iwu who messed the country up are free just bcs they are with yr adua as president. assume a sitution where atiku or buhari happens to be the next president of nigeria, wht will u expect? nigeria will only be free when there are institutions in place where the law is the law. people will come and go and the same institution and law will remain. by so doing, you will not be talking about ribdu rather efcc, we will not be talking about the president rather we will be talking about nigeria like americans do. let there be institutions in place and when we have such u will be meeting sons the president and vice in prison for the same offence that an okada man has committed and no one will be above the law. we all know iyabo obasanjo. such people are been used as role models in nigeria today. shamelessly obj asked youths in oyo to emulate the life of adedibu - a thug.mikeansy, u are less than an embecile because you cannot make a single point. take me to any of your posts where u highlighted points like kobojunkie has done above. when you see people with purpose,u will know them no matter where they are. kobo made his points and we can only argue on them. your type will only join the masses for joining sake |
his war on corruption did not give nigerians steady power supply, security, good roads, sound education, free and fair election, good health facilities even with the billions that he recovered. then what did we benefit from this war? his boss promised us steady power supply among other things and we wasted eight( uninterupted years with him as our president and minister of petrolium without these promises in sight.ribadu and his boss should be charged for deciet and betrayal of trust. the best option for ribadu now is to join his partner in london for a life long study pending when they will be needed for a role in any movie in future. |
mikeansy, am sorry, i always take u beyond ur reaches but unfortunate there is nothing i can do about that. i will advise u to go back to school as we cannot sail on the same level. well, i have decided to be a little kind with u by a way of a brief lecture. since 1999, nigeria has been under the leadership of a political party known as PDP - peoples democratic party. as a political party, they have board of trustees and this board is like the excutive arm of the party with the responsibility of making decissions for the party. on the head of these board of trustees, is a chairman of the board. when obj failed in his third term, he quickly amended the constitution of pdp on the issue of the chairman board of trustees. the only person qualified to be the chairman of this board must be a former president who is a member of the party and with this, obj is the only nigerian with this qualifications. most pdp members who left the party were not comfortable with the idea of one person being qualified to be the chairman of the bot in a democratic setting. my dear mikeansy, i hope with these few points of mine, i have been able to convience and not confuss you that obj did not only impose yar adua on nigeria and nigerians, he equally made himself a criminal chairman of pdp bot and thereby maintain his inordinate ambition to die in power. pls to avoid this stress of lecturing u free of charge next time, u can try the children's department of this forum. have a nice day. i hope you are well informed that obj is still arround and actively involved in the criminal affairs of this country. do not be decieved, he may be behind the odeals of ribadu because tafa balogun and atiku were once his close pals but he is such a dirty minded criminal. |
you are all jokers. how many of u have blamed obj over the use of prof.iwu to force yar adua on us? ribadu, prof.iwu, el rufai and bode george as well as kayode etc are good examples of what obj is made of and they are all symbol of corruption so your call will lead you no where because we know you are all paid labourers. the height of obj's corruption was displayed in april polls and the so called corruption crusader did not see anything wrong in the movie clip. they will all pay including iwu. yar adua is on the lucky boat and will not have anything against iwu but he may not be lucky with the next admin. ribadu did a good work in nigeria including the persecution of the man who was contesting the senotorial seat with iyabo obasanjo even when the man has never been in any public office before then. ribadu is a product of a criminal cartel hence his reward is not far from him. |
Prof. Iwu is just one of the threats. the past administration used many weapons of mass destructions in form of learned and wise/intelligent men. to obj and his supporters, specialists in different fields were used eg prof iwu for inec, ribadu for efcc, el rufai for fct, bode george for npa and kayode for communication. they were all good but for nigeria to move forward, obj and his men shld give room to other people for the continuation of this trial and error formular. removing prof iwu alone will not do the magic rather removing obj from anything that has to do with leadership in nigeria and bringing in fresh ideas. fresh ideas include the removal of yar adua and organising a free and fair election that will simply represent the people's mandates. |
right thing at the wrong time. i think there are many destitutes in nigeria that equally need relief. i wonder who will bring their own relief maybe ghana |
naijacutee, how much were you paid? how much are we going to get to support this thread or to make ur thread popular. ribadu was picked by obj and he did the work he was paid for otherwise he was not the most intelligent man in the police or the most senior police officer. |
those who are against isreal for protecting their citizens shld go and register for suicide bombing. if the arabs try wiping isreal from the map and the table turns out against them and isreal wipe them out, then we will see. |
before we go about saving ribadu, he will be able to tell nigerians what happened to all the funds signed for certain undone contracts during his time including the $16billion for power and the N300 billion for ibadan express way. obj is the symbol of corruption and ribadu, el rufai, adedibu, chris uba were among his hitmen. ribadu failed nigerians when he probed the late abacha and left other past presidents. is ribadu telling us that abacha was the only corrupt past president. the man ribadu suceeded in dividing the nigerian political class into two viz; the clean and the corrupt so the fight must be allowed to be bewteen the two. it is obvious the war is now between obj group and yar adua group both of pdp. i will rejoice that day it will be between pdp and anyother party. how can obj forced yar adua on nigerians because we refused third term. how can anyone conbvience me that obj is against corruption in nigeria. |
Those that accuse Ribadu of selective justice and witch-hunting Atiku, i hope you saw the allegation by siemens involving payment made through Atiku's wife.Idiopathic, going by the names you listed above, wht happened to them? is tafa balogun a poor man till date? what was his punishment as a chief security officer who betrayed police and the people of nigeria? pls compare him with the 100 years and above punishment issued to individual fraudstars. where is adenuga and what happened to him? how can you convience nigerians that ijaw and ijaw people flew to lagos to honour him as their man of the year? this same ijaw people we saw celebrate alamasiya as their hero when he was released from the jail. be wise, these are paid labourers like you and your group here. in a simple language, could you pls answer me. did corruption in the last regime 1999 to 2007 on the high or on the low? how many out of the 36 or more) govs were arrested in the war against corruption and how many were declared as clean? can any of you here pls explain what happened in the money laundary case established by a usa court against andy uba the then personal assistant to obj. could any of you explain in simple terms what corruption is when it comes to elected officials in nigeria. if we are here say that any political office holder during obj's regime including obj himself was clean then let us know who that one is. if non is clean nthen let us know why some were arrested and some were not. |
Profit$ mentioned Dora here. if Dora has been the NAFDAC boss for this long and till date nobody has gone to court to challange her actions, it is worth commending. has anyone come out to tell nigerians that dora closed her shop and leave his or her neighbours' shops? if ten people imports fake drugs, you can only allow the ten or catch the ten. the idea of catching 9 1/2 and leaving half is what we call selective justice. dora has set the pace and even her victims will commend her efforts in secret. if yar adua is going to fight through the present efcc, let him make it a fight for all otherwise, i will come back here to tell you is a selective war and it will not lead us nowhere. all the ribadu noise on our media did not yield anything as corruption in the last administration was the highest in the history of nigeria and the simple reason is selective justice. go to my state and visit the villages of all the house members and see the state of the arts houses errected by the honorable law breakers which war? there was absolutely no war on corruption by ribadu. let any of you tell me about a politician he knows in the last regime that is not heavily built financially now. let one of you point at one politician in the last regime that is regreting his involvement. let one of you tell me that goodluck jonathan and yar adua who were govs in the last regime were not corrupt hence they were selected for the posts. let one of you tell the basis for which ribadu arrested the few govs he did- maybe they were more corrupt than the others. let one of you tell me that among all the ministers and federal appointed officials in the last regime, non of them was corrupt and if any is why did't ribadu arrest any. let one of you tell me that fani kayode, bode george and borrishade who have arrested by waziri are not corrupt and why did ribadu overlooked them. can someone tell me here that the govs are more corrupt than our ministers in the last regime. RIBADU WAS SIMPLY A PAID LABOURER WHO INTERPRETED HIS SCRIPT VERY WELL SO POLICE IS NOT THE BEST PLACE FOR HIM - I SUGGEST NOLLYWOOD. |
please poster learn to tell us what we want to hear - lies. tell us that africa is the emerging world power. tell them that africa is the land of great opportunities. tell us that our problems are the west. tell us that africa has the wisest people on earth. if you can be posting topics and threads like that, you will be popular here and you will be moving with the majority. the truth is always bitter as no one here is ready to compare south africa where the whites had more time with ethiopia that rejected the whites. at the end of the day, we will not move forward until we recognise the truth. in totality and with no appologies, we must accept the fact that we are a failed people. it is just that it is impossible otherwise, we need to officially call the whites to come back with a full package colonisation programme. by the way, where do you think our leaders are sending all the funds they are looting? to the white man's land. put the funds in their banks and they out of excess cash, give us loan which we will pay back with interests. |
whatever comes to a man they say is equal to the man. for those who are still calling for isreal to be wiped out of the world, i would want to inform you that firing of rockets will not do that job. it important you go back to the drawing board. on the other hand, iran is just a toothless bulldog when it comes to isreal. a day is more than enough for isreal to delete iran with the military powers and iran is well aware of that. |
Israel is relying on the strength of the US to carry out their evil act against the Palestine people. They really need to be wiped out.

hajifaty, many have thought the same thing as you did but the question remains, WHO WILL BELL THE CAT? the act of wiping isreal is what the poor palestinians are carrying out on daily bases with their firing of rocket missiles and throwing of stones to isreali tanks. why do we always jump up to express sympathy whenever there is a reaction from isreal? why is it that no one dears to blame the hamas group for their actions. since the palestine people do not value their lives, why won't isreal kill hundred of them for any isreali they kill. hajifaty, are you sure this your new call to wipe isreal out of the surface of the earth is from your mind? why don't you go down there and join the suicide mission or will u be here asking the palestinians to continue dying? |
mike and afam, at least for once the americans are the good people here simply because they traced the money to atiku's wife's account. afam, u disappeared all these while the saints of obj's regime have been facing panels. when ribadu was in power, u all were saying yes to the fight against corruption, now that waziri is in power, it has turned to witchhunting. all i am saying is that if anyone is going to fight corruption in nigeria, he must be straightforward in doing so otherwise it will multiply like it did during obj's regime. every nigerian including you and afam are aware that obj was corrupt and so was his regime and a few points to prove that are as follows; 1. $16 billion on power supply - no result 2. 300 billion naira on roads - no result 3. april polls that braught yar adua to seat - messed up 4. the inability to arrest, stop and reduce the activities of the likes of adedibu, chris uba, bode george, tonny annenih, borrishade, fani kayode etc 5. the sales of nnpc, npa, oil wells, govt houses which yar adua's govt has cancealed and recalled. at least 70% of nigerians are aware of the above mentioned points. link me to your points as i have done and let me take you down the memory lane even with the international media reports which we have confirmed to be the authentic news now. afam, am happy that u mentioned it that i have been like this for 2 yrs nowthen compare those issues that i had always pointed at in the pst with the situations at hand. there is a common law which sees a ,man in front at the back whenever there is an order to turn back in a military parade. my next happy moment will be that day when obj will be relieved of all posts and he will enjoy the status of an ordinary citizen then he will dance to the beat of this music that he has been playing. |

uninterupted years with him as our president and minister of petrolium without these promises in sight.
