For the percentage of men I quoted that is my estimation since the large proportion of the remainder are women according to the UN as well. I have modified the post again till I get an exact percentage of men.Lagosboy, if we go by ur satistics above, it is obvious that hamas is not making a head way with their rockets if only 16 isrealis have been killed in 5 years. in your opinion, what do u think about a strategy that is not yielding the anticipated result? will it be a good advise if someone tells hamas to stop this act of firing rockets into isreal as it is causing palestinians more harm than good. on the other hand, what is the percentage of children suicide bombers, women suicide bombers, civilians suicide bombers and hamas suicide bombers? isreal is in gaza to attack hamas. pls in your opinion, how or what are the xteristics of hamas which will for sure reduce civilian victims. obasanjo wiped out odi community for the sins of few and no one called for his head till date so if isreal decides to wipe out palestine in the course of fishing out hamas, i think world court in hague will be ok for isreal and obj. lebanon is starting a fresh war so isreal will soon be a double terrorist nation for responding to their call for war. most of the hamas sympathizers have decided to overlook the course of isreali attack and the good news is that the heat of the war is more on those who call for the war. |

latest report from the middle east is saying four rockets had hit northern isreal from lebanon two wounded. the big question now is, who is responsible and what is the purpose of these rockets? Muza and co, i ask that you channel your cameras to lebanon because isreal will soon be there. soon the news will be 2,000 children and 2 million women and no hezeboulah fighter. you have to be ready to paste those pictures that will win the war for u. if hamas or hezeboulah has the military powers to delete isreal overnight, it will not hesitate so my worries lies on why isreal is not deleting any of these groups even with their might. my mind is telling me these people enjoy the site of blood and that is simply why they cannot live without fighting. |

olanajim & Muza, i am surprised at both of u are still here. na waa, nigerians can decieve people. it is obvious no nigerian would like to inherit 14 virgin in heaven. i want be proud of both of you when i see your pictures as suicide bombers in isreal or iraq. rockets have started landing from Lebanon and there will be no UN or EU or those of us who are chronic sympathizers here to ask those responsible for that to stop until isreal will prepare new pictures for u guys to post here. those who live in glass houses do not throw stones. hamas and hezeboulah know the consequences of their actions and shld always be ready to bear them instead of bothering us with pictures of headless women and children as the blood of all those killed will remain on their heads. muslims and arabs have citizenships and businesses all over the world including europe and america so why would they always destroy any investment that belongs to the westerners in their own region. osama bin laden has families scattered all over europe and america, yet in his teachings, he has made the arabs to understand that anything about the westerners is evil. why have people decided to let others use their minds? all i know is that isreal is equal to the task and they have learnt how to bury their dead so also would hamas and hezeboulah learn how to bury their deads without making it a general problem. iran is sponsoring these rockets but have refused to contribute to the welfare of palestinians and they have refused to get involed openly in the war to avoid casualties. |

@ola and muza, i can feel you no matter the distance. it is important to remind us here that nigeria has been represented very well in the world scenes and in almot every aspect of life except for suicde bombing. i think this the right time for people with zeal. remember 14 virgins await whosoever will make up his mind for this course. ola and muza, we will be proud of you two. we will like to see ur pictures in the next edition. be courageious, tire enough bomb arround ur necks and the muslim world and nigeria will immortalise your names. pls remember to use nigerian flag at least for us and other people to know that u are from nigeria. go out there and show them what we are made up of. poor men that stole magi always come alive on crime fighters yet billions of dollars pass through murtala mohamed on daily basis and someone is here to tell me about untouchables. i do not know what you people see in ribadu because with the few months of the new efcc, bode george, borrishade and fani kayode have been invited, wow nothing can be more moving than moving these three heavy weights. this same ribadu told us that these men were clean o i wouldn't know who is the liar here. yar adua have cancelled many contracts that he caled illegal by the last administration yet nobody is standing trials for all these. oil wells, nnpc, nigerian ports authority etc were all sold illegally without anyone linking them to orji uzo kalu, ibori or alams. why are we decieving ourselves. obj said he spent $16billion on power, who is the contractor? N300 billion on ibadan -benin expressway- who is in-charge? the death of our artoney general- who killed him? achike udenwa as the former gov of imo state was the first gov to endorse third term and today he is a minister. odili gave up his presidential ambition to avoid efcc, marwa gave up his presidential ambition and avoided efcc as well as becoming an ambassadore, chris uba overthrew an elected gov in anambra and was made a member board of trustees in pdp as a reward, adedibu made oyo hell for oyo citizen and was praised by obj who told the youth of oyo state to emulate adedibu, obj told us that the april polls was going to be a do or die affair so where was the war on corruption fought. orji uzo kalu's airline was refused lisence in nigeria but till date it has remained the presidential jet of gambia without any report of air misharp. there was practically no war on corruption during obj's time rather there was war on oposition. |

Muza, i could see about 14 pitures or so in ur posts against the 600 we read of. is either the media is not correct or you are representing the oppressed very well. someone said here last time that hazeboulah won isreal last time and that hamas is planing to do the same so i wonder if these pictures are now representing the winning mentality. i want hear one of you quote the hamas leader who said that they are going to make gaza the burial ground for the isrealites. where did you get these pitures? u did not see the picture of isreali prime minister and the coffin shown besde him by hamas as the cffin they are going to use for him? i am really surprised that all of you sympathizers will still be here next year instead of going down there and register urselves for suicide mission. go and wear bombs arround your body and enter isreal at least to enjoy the benefits of 14 virgins after death. please when next you are posting pictures, remember to include pictures of young and women suicide bombers as well as pictures of hamas sending rockets to isreal including pictures of isreali families crying at the burial ceremony of their family members. why are we even wasting our time for people who are gone to enjoy the benefits of their efforts here. before i forget, remember to post the 9/11 pictures here. trace all these hamas and hezeboulah leaders, their families are all in europe attending good schools and enjoying good lives while they preach to others to die in suicide bombing to have access to 14 virgins in heaven. by the way, won't 14 women for a man be a big punishment? muza, u don't need to be here till next week, just find the easiest means of going to palestine so that we will see ur pictures in the next edition. |

look at ghana, oposition winning election. they are no longer talking about electricity. look at april polls, how many of the winners have been confirmed loosers by our courts. it is obvious that all were fraudulently won and lost including the presidency. how do we compare the judges who ruled in favour of yar adua in the april poll case to these few sans and lawyers who are working with ribadu. if they are original sans, they shld have told ribadu that nigerian constitution says that an accused is innocent until proven otherwise instead of ribadu changing the system to accused been guilty until they prove otherwise. for that guy mikeansy, he simply has nothing to offer so stop explaining issues to him. the idea or reason for anti corruptions commission like efcc is surposed to be to eliminate or possibly reduce corruption in a society like ours but events in the eight years of obj showed the highest level of corruption in the history of nigeria till date. if efcc is here to multiply corruption, then the best thing will be to scrap it off. i saw ribadu as another mustapha earlier in his days as efcc chairman but most people on nairaland then called for my head but today more are begining to see the same man manifesting himself. if i become the president of nigeria today, i will bring ribadu back to efcc for him to go back to places he jumped. i will make him to do work that he claimed to have done. all past presidents, federal officials and past govs and state house members. i will make him understand that the days of sacred cows are gone. i will turn him against the gurriella that brought him onboard. |

This is my view:Holyeye, blessed be this day that i read a straight though a bitter truth. these 12 sans and 70 lawyers are out to get their fair shares of what ribadu got. these sans and lawyers should have known that mustapha was a military man who swore an oat to be loyal to his superiors and that was what he did in carrying out the orders of abacha so he does deserve all that obj did to him especially when obj too was a military man. the corruption witnessed in the eight years of obj is not comparable to any regime in nigeria be in military or civilian. the killings alone which involved the absolute wiping out of to villages, the agf - bola ige, and other politically motivated killings by thugs like adedibu and chris uba, the deaths through plan crashes which fani kayode said was a result of cultist activities and a whole lot of others. the God of the poor masses must visit obj and ribadu among other colleagues of theirs. if the appointed time for reward is here, i tell u, 50 million sans and lawyers will not save any of them. look at the sufferings of the poor masses in a land blessed with a lot of mineral resources. look at the oil boom through which obj ruled as a president and oil minister yet nothing tangible to show for it. may the sufferings of nigerians through the hands of obj and his colleagues in the last regime be the portion of those who support evil in nigeria. |

i feel like laughing. isreal's war as we discuss here is for a purpose which is nothing but to make sure that hamas stop the act of sending rockets into isreal. the funny thing here is that the rocket is still landing in isreal and we are here talking about isreal without asking the course. obviously all the rockets are made in iran and iran has refused to get involved openly. since the end of isreali/hezeboulah war, nobody has heard of hezeboulah this and that so if isreal can do this once and for all so that people can go about their normal business again, that will be better. who is the civilian in palestine? the small boys and girls who has been engaged in suicide bombing. if anyone should be blamed for the death of women and children, it is hamas who throws rockets missiles into isreal without targets. it is hamas who use their women and children as human shield. |

The pain and cry of Ribadu and his friends remind me of the pain and cry of the family and friends of those who were indicted by Ribadu and disqualified from the 2007 elections without hearing from them or giving them a fair hearing.the two paragraphs above summarized the long post. Keyamo we all know has been outstanding in the fight against corruption and i still think he has points here to make. there is no way ribadu's interests will overtake the interst of nigeria as a state. it is only here in nairaland forum or in nigeria that an okada man will come out openly with or without reason to say a learned man is not making sense. mike, am really sorry that in all your posts, you have failed to drive home any point no matter how irrelevant the point may be. you only want to post because others are posting. give a point and make effort to drive ur point home. Mr. Mike, in what way or ways can you possibly differentiate what ribadu is doing today from what his victims were doing in his eight years with obj outside not iving them fair hearing which was offered to him by this new group. pdp has turned the country into a football pitch with their powers but one thing they need to be reminded is that despite the powerful stance in nigeria, there is a power that is greater than all powers who will definitely visit them one day. for ribadu, he was once a chairman, now that he is a provost, he shld compare and contrast. |

with views i v read here, one can easily see how hungary nigerians are to see a better nigeria. in as much as i want nigeria to be as good as some of the countries that i v lived in but our problems to me can only be addressed best under two major headings viz; Leaders and police. LEADERS. it is practically impossible for the lead to be sound when the leaders have proved that the best way to riches is corruption. let us bring this issues down to our various villages and local govt areas. how many politicians do we vote in only to see them display their ill gotten wealth within six months. how will the voters feel when the see politicians come back with the same stories everyday promising to make heaven out hell if they are voted in. biblically, leaders are mearnt to lead by example. an igbo addage has it that when the man in front begings to go zig-zag, others will follow suit. it is generally acceptable that our leaders have betrayed the masses and this action is a king of air pollution which has now entered all aspects of our lives as nigerians. even those without the intentions are corrupt. how do u look at a man born in a poor family, determined to break the barriers of poverty, do everything humanly possible to go through the universities including selling family lands and other family belongings with the promise to right all wrongs when he starts working only to end up working in streets searching for jobs without success. the system will frustrate innocent people with better results while poor result bearers who are connected to the political class will get jobs easily through phone calls or complimentary cards. POLICE: the police is practically the drivers of every society. the first step to fight corruption in nigeria will be to sort out the problems of nigeria police in fairness. our police is very hungary and are uncared for. make provisions for car loans, housing loans and make their saleries attractive like that of bankers and oil companies. the high rate of crime in nigeria is as a result of poor woeking conditions of the police which has make them destitutes. a police man in nigeria who wants to base hi life on salary might end up not building house for himself nomatter how many years he put in service. assuming the minimum wage for the police is N200,000, how many of them do u think will have the urge to stand for N20 from morning till night? on the other hand, bribery has remained the only way for the nigerian police to survive. a change on the sides of our leaders and police will automatically affect the masses because they are the two major designers of the society. |

i think isreal is the only country in the world that could wait all these long. let us take nigeria for instance been attacked always by benin republic and we have what it takes to match through their streets, i bet you nigeria will not wait for one year to wipe Benin out talkless of benin making it known to nigeria that it is going to wipe nigeria out of the world. if a suicide bomber attacks isreal, those we call innocent people in palestine will be celebrating him or her as a hero in their streets but now the war is in their houses, they have become innocent people. |

obj is correct but the problem is that nigerians are aware of what he is saying before now. if a presient could not suceed in eight years in giving us power supply, good roads, security, and was unable to organise credible elections, we all expected a hard time so we don't need to be reminded of it. please to you all supporters of obj, could you please tell nigerians the reasons or even reasons for his inability to provide nigerians with the above mentioned armenities even with him as president and minister of petrolium. |

i have met opinions that are as dark as cool but i have not met hajifaty and auwal in my whole life. isreal lost to who? hezeboulah? lebanese president - senora in his address to UN said, isreal has sent us back to 20 years. it will take lebanon another 20 years to come back to where they were before the arrieval of isreal. if isreal lost 5 lives in that war, lebanon must have lost 2,000 lives. there was not war in fact isreal past through lebanon without any resistance. is just like what is happening in palestine, there is no possibility of loosing a war when you are not meeting any form of resistance. how can you talk about hezeboulah and hamas winning isreal in a war when isreal pass through their kitchens without resistance. as for iran, they are just making noise. if they have the gut, let them get involved. isreal is monitoring the developments in their sites and will definitely strike at any point they sense danger. it is a known fact that the arabs joined together cannot stand the firepower of isreal talkless of hamas and hezeboulah. niger delta and hamas does not have any form of similarities. the whole world is asking hamas to recognise isreal as a state and hamas is saying there is nothing like isreal. |

reading through most posts here, u will find out that many of us do not even know what they are surporting. who is calling for a cease fire? europe. it is this same europe that asked hamas to recognize isreal's right to exist which hamas has refused till date. hamas and arab has a course which is wiping out isreal from the surface of the earth. it is not worth crying for. this is the best time for hamas and its supporters to wipe isreal out. in saudi arabia, iraq, jordan, etc, there suicide bombers and one begings to wonder if isreal is occupying lands also there. @boss, the issue of WMD in iraq originated from saddam's boasting when he was invading kuwait and showing his list of other countries to follow suit. he then boasted of detroying the whole region if anyone attacks him. UN intervened in 1991 when they asked USA to stop the war while they asked saddam to give room for weapon inspectors to go into iraq which saddam did not honour until second bush came on board. saddam continued in his sturborness untill bush asked him to step down. the situation in zimbabwe today is been blamed on the west while the financial crises in usa is been worked on for solutions, africans and the arabs has decided to lay blames instead of looking for solutions. |

did i hear somebody talking about oposition winning here? winning is related to elections and in april polls in nigeria, there was no election rather there were selections here and there. pdp was all about obj and who he likes. who was yar adua and jonathan? they were just the selected two. nigeria is not worth discussing. please let us say congratulations to ghana for showing maturity especially the incumbent president. |

Huh, I am not in support of the group so called HAMAS but Israel can easily fish out the HAMAS and its officially without using force against the defenseless Palestinian civilians.hajifaty, if u are not supporting hamas, then let us know the intelligence that will fish out hamas among the palistinians. when hamas is throwing rocket missiles into isreal, they don't look for soldiers or politicians rather they look for isrealis and no one ever make mention of isreali casualities. on bbc now hamas has shown the picture of isreali prime minister and a picture of a coffine in which according to them the prime minister will soon be bruried with. if we all agreed that the palistinians voted hamas into power, and they have been supportive of hamas actions all these while, then let them wait and reap the fruit of their labour. hamas like other terrorist networks use human shield that is hiding under children and women. if their children and women engage in suicide bombings, then they are part of it all. for your suggestion on isreal fighting against anyother neighbour of theirs, i tell u in confidence that all their neighbours join together cannot withstand isreal's fire power for 48 hours. forget iran's ranting, iran even knows that isreal will turn them into dust if they show up. on your own you can google isreal's military powers. maybe u are discussing based on newspapers but a chat with an arab man will reveal to u how bitter they are about isreal but the most unfortunate thing is that they do no have what it takes to do the job. trace the leaders of all these terrorists groups, they are all rich to the detriment of their own people because they are sponsored. all of them must have ran out of palestine leaving the poor to the mercy of isreal. we all know arafat but his leadership was probed after his death to observed that he was diverting all the funds raised from eu aid to his personal accounts. let us remember that at the end of isreali - hezeboulah war, it was hezeboulah - lebanon govt war. they are terrorists and that is what they will remain. |

Hajifaty, why do u think UN will continue talking about cease fire everyday? how can you always stop a war without solving the problems that start the war? you said any reasonable person, how reasonable are u as a person when u don't talk about hamas always sending rockets into isreal without targets? do u think the people dying from all these rockets are not innocent people as well? why is it that u always talk about isreal as if they are not fighting with someone? there was a six months truce in place, who starting attacks again, isreal of hamas? what did your hamas do when europe and the western world asked them to recognise the existance of isreal? if hamas has refused all peaceful solutions suggested in the past by un, why do u think isreal shld listen to the un again? hamas an their partners has made their mind known to all which is total withdrawal of isreal or war, where do u belong? do u want isreal to withdraw totally or war or are u in the group suggesting peaceful co-existance? take ur side and live on it as there is basically no way isreal will fold her arms and watch hamas kill isrealis one after the other. i will suggest the war to continue until hamas changes her stance. hamas shld be held responsible for the death of her innocent citizens. if the palestines are throwing stones and rockets, it only tell what they have because they have access to anything bigger, they will definitely use them. isreal is aware that the only target of hamas and her group is to wipe isreal out of the map while the big question has remain, who will bell the cat. hamas shld be reasonable to know that they are not the right candidate for the task ahead. it will be wise for iran to take up the task and do the work once and for all to give palestinians the rest of life they have been searching for. if hamas does not take their time, isreal will wipe them out and those claiming to support them will still be there and watch them perish. |
