Felicity0001: Have you consider selling off this car while you use the proceed to buy a suitable car for the business. I'm sure you will have money left.
You might end up regretting ur decision of using such and expensive car which requires huge money to maintain for ehailing on Nigeria roads.
Many have failed trying it out and that includes me.
Anyways, you can still give it a try if you dont mind. But one thing I'm very sure about is you'll finally sell of that car but by then the value must have depreciated due to the savage from the hustle.
Make the right choice now! Thanks. I'll consider that |

northbird: Why Lexus my broda
That's a premium brand.
N Bolt and Uber don't give a flying f**k the kind of exotic machine you bring on board.
Na still #65/km and #10/ min wt 20% service fee.
Pls reconsider using a Lexus 2009 for CHEAP fares.
If I had such a car, I wudnt even try it. Oh well, that's what I have and I'm considering using it for the business. Thanks anyways |

Good evening wonderful people. Hope y'all are staying safe and at home. I have few questions please
1. Is lexus ES350 2009 model good for Uber/bolt business in Nigeria? 2. Between Owerri, Uyo and Calabar, which is a better destination for this business?
Please if you're doing Uber/bolt in Owerri, Calabar or Uyo, do let me kniw |

Greetings everyone! I'm a cyber security engineer / penetration tester in Nigeria with a BSc in computer science. I have this agent that wants to get me job in Dubai before I came across this thread, but I don't like the type of job he is getting. The jobs he is getting are cleaner jobs, security guard, and labourer jobs. Are these the only type of easily accessible jobs over there? What are my chances of getting a job in my field(software development, network engineering, cyber security Engineering)?
It sees most jobs there are construction jobs
Also, the salary for the jobs he got for me are not better than what I get here . The highest salary he told me is 250k monthly
I was denied Canadian student visa this month and looking for better opportunities, I hope it doesn't affect my chances of getting visa |

Frankrobbn1: Did you receive a medical request or undergo an upfront medical exam?... Receiving a biometrics validity letter (BVL) prior to a medical request is a sign that a negative decision has already been reached on your application. You should expect further correspondence shortly from IRCC. I didn't do an upfront medicals or received any medical request yet. Let's see what happens next tho |

I’d keep dropping updates here. Who knows? It might help someone tomorrow. Nice. When did you apply? |

Frankrobbn1: SOP/LOE have never in history been a requirement for study visa application. Applicant's that include one in their various applications do so probably because he/she has vital information which needs to be clarified to the visa officer and thus facilitate their visa approval. Okay. Never knew tho |

Ola2471: Approval!! Hi I’m a newbie been a silent reader since I submitted in August . I decided to post to encourage everyone from the wave of refusals
Timeline: online route Submission/upfront medicals- August 15th Medicals passed- August 22nd Eligibility review started- August 22nd Bvl/approval/ppr- October 1st Passport submitted-October 2nd Passport returned- December 2nd
This was my first application although I got visit visa last year but it expired in June cos my passport expired The last 2 month were the longest months of my life I kept thinking of what could have been wrong for my passport to be held but thank God
I didn’t write SOP/LOE
Docs submitted were: * Letter of Acceptance and fee statement * Receipt of 1st semester fees as well as telex copy (paid with zenith bank) * Proof of funds: letter of sponsorship stating that the amount estimated by the school as living costs has been transferred to my account , my bank statement 3.2m (11CAD), parents bank statement not up to 1m, parents payslips and my employment letter . * Then all the required forms
Course applied for is Post graduate Certificate at Seneca College.
All in all it was Gods favor cos when I read about all the SOPs that people submitted and saw closing balances I had anxiety. My application itself took 6 weeks and 4 days Big congrats. It's interesting to know you didn't write SOP and still got TRV. I think less documents mean more in this Canada matter |

engrjoe: Thanks for the response sir JustMellow. I learnt I will have to book an appointment first. Tried using a link I saw but it isnt going. Should I just go to their office with the above listed requirements or get a way to book appointment first? Secondly, sized passport should be how many and what size? I assume it is not the size submitted during application. Kindly help with the above questions
Others can please contribute also. I am sorry for bringing this in here. THANKS If you're referring to the link I dropped here, it should open. Try using Google Chrome browser: 1. Sign-up and validate your email address 2. Login 3. Click on schedule appointment 4. Click on add applicant 5. Fill in your details and the time you would like to have the biometrics 6. Submit after that. You should get an email confirming your enrollmu |
